Scribbles About TV: Fuller House Review

If you like Full House, if you still think the jokes are funny even now in 2016 and you want a remake with the same types of jokes just slightly more 2016... you'll love this show. If you're a teenager or a little kid or you're looking for a family friendly show to watch with your teenager or little kid... this is a great one. I can totally 100% recommend this as a show that is fun to watch with your family and you'll probably enjoy it a lot that way. It really isn't a bad show... but its also sort of just as bad as Dr. Ken. And if you like Dr. Ken, that's fine, you'll probably really love this if you love Dr. Ken... but you know... I don't lol.

So yeah the jokes were... trying. They really tried and they did a good job for the audience of the show and I'm not in that category. I wasn't excited for the remake, I liked Full House when I was little... but idk. I've seen them all. It was cute, but not my favorite show in the world. But it just wasn't for me... so if you think this show isn't for you, it probably isn't.

The characters were a lot of fun though. I liked DJ's son who is just like Danny. Danny taught him how to clean and he's a little bit of a neat freak too... I thought that was really cute. And I thought Stephanie was really good. Her DJ name is DJ Tanner... and thats funny.

I also liked that they included a lot of meta-jokes. Like that Michelle was working on a fashion empire and things like that. Like I said, they really did try and I think they did a good job for the audience that is going to like the show... but for me, I couldn't really sit down and watch a full episode. And that's okay, its not for me... but it might be for a lot of people... so I'm not going to give this a fully negative review because I knew what I was getting into. I knew it wasn't going to be for me, but it is for a lot of people.

If you don't like this... maybe try Unbreakable Kimmy Schmiddt or Grace and Frankie. Those are 2 of my favorite Netflix Comedies... and you might love those even if you do love Fuller House. I would recommend watching the first episode and if you don't laugh within the first few minutes... you won't like it. And if you do laugh or feel something, you probably will like it. Although also... I didn't love Grace and Frankie at first... but still... this isn't for me and I knew Grace and Frankie kind of was.

Hope this was somewhat helpful!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
