Okay... I just saw the movie Joker last night and it was amazing... but here are 10 scenes in particular I can't stop thinking about.  These aren't in any real order... but obviously... spoilers. 10) Arthur's Laugh at the Beginning of the movie- When he started the laugh in the therapist's office, I thought that that the whole movie might just be that laugh... and I was okay with that. It's such a good laugh and the fact that he actually starts to choke and cry a little bit because of it is so heartbreaking. 9) Arthur Drops the Gun at the Children's Hospital- This is an actual funny scene before the movie becomes very dark. We see Arthur doing a really good job as a clown in a kids hospital and the kids seemed to actually like him... then a gun falls out of his pocket, and he responds in character as the clown... it's just really good. This also leads to Joker getting fired, we're revealed that Randall who called Arthur "his boy" and gav...

So this is a little bit different... I might do some more Christmas Scribbles About TV... But I like This is Us so much and I've really been loving all of their holiday episodes so much that I thought I would do a whole post dedicated to the episode. And this is the Winter Finale of the show also... so it did kind of end on a cliffhanger... and I have some thoughts on that... but it was a really good episode. And I don't even really know where to start on describing the episode... the storyline in the past was focused on the family all at the hospital because Kate had to get her appendix taken out on Christmas Eve. Rebecca gave Kate a branch of a Christmas tree and said that it had Christmas Magic on it and nothing bad happens on Christmas Eve. Here we can see how attached Kevin is to his sister... he doesn't want to leave her side when she is being taken into the ER and he doesn't really talk much while they are in the ER. I kind of wish they focused a little more ...

I think I covered most of my thoughts on the X Files Revival when I did the review of the Premiere... but I figured I'd talk about the rest of the episodes and how I feel in general about the series and if I think they should do more or not... I'm sure they're going to do more... but I'll weigh in on it anyway. Lol.  So some of the episodes in this series I thought were some of the absolute best. My favorites were Mulder and Scully meet the Were-Monster and Babylon. The other episodes were really good too... but some of them I found trouble paying attention to... I feel like I lost interest somewhere in the middle with a lot of them... and I'll watch them again, but to me it was sort of needing to find its ground, and the timeline of the series made it a little harder.  I really liked the new characters on the show. I kind of wish there were some more episodes with them in it also. I loved Agent Miller and Agent Einstein, I thought they were great. And I love...

I'M A CALM PERSON BUT EVERY OTHER FRIDAY, I LIKE TO RELEASE MY ANGER AND EXPLAIN THE THINGS THAT MILDLY ANNOY ME IN A FASHION THAT IS RATHER ANGRY AND OVERLY DRAMATIC. DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT????? GOOD! Random Coupon Thing This actually really annoyed me. Lol. Ulta had a couple deals going. First off they had a 20% off everything coupon (including prestige) and that was pretty awesome and I'm very thankful for that. Ulta is my favorite store for makeup... for the most part.  Nyx is a good brand and I was going to use that coupon with it because they are a pricey brand even though they aren't prestige... I like to buy things from them when they have deals like the 20% off coupon. Anyway they had buy one get one half off face cosmetics and buy one get one half off eye cosmetics, which you could combine with other eye cosmetics from different brands like Revlon and L'oreal... but they didn't combine together. So you couldn't get one eye product ...

So here are some things that happened in 2015: First and foremost: A rat decided he was hungry in the subway one day and decided to steal an entire slice of pizza. And it went viral... and that was pretty awesome but also disgusting. I liked it. I admire the rat. And thought it was cute, as long as it isn't near me. I was a fan. There was a dress. In real life, its Black and Blue. In a badly lit photograph, it kind of looked White and Gold to some people... and then the internet went INSANE as no one could agree on the color of the dress. This all happened while the first season finale of How To Get Away With Murder was on and I wasn't paying attention to it at all. But I did tweet Viola Davis and said "Why is everyone freaking out about the dress when the How To Get Away With Murder Season Finale is so insane!" And she favorited my tweet... so we're bests now and that was the highlight of 2015. My sister got engaged and I graduated college too... but I thin...

Alrighty... so here is a little sort of half rant... but mostly just factual 100% accurate information on why spoilers really really suck. I don't like seeing movies on opening night. Especially big movies like Star Wars. That doesn't mean I'm not into the hype... I'm just not into seeing movies at midnight in a tiny theater where people probably fart a lot. My movie theater doesn't have many seats, so the only option to really get a seat is to use fandango... which I don't mind... but still. Its just another thing. And I know there are a lot of people like me out there. Maybe you liked the movies when you were a kid, maybe you haven't seen them since you were a kid and maybe you want to re-watch them before a new one comes out. Maybe you never saw the movies but want to know what the fuss is about... maybe you have other things to do and just can't get to the movies right away... thats fine... So don't spoil it! I feel like this is becoming...

Heyyyy! So I already posted my Paper towns review  here But I noticed the discussion questions at the end of the book and I thought... well that'd be fun. And I'm actually writing this before the review so that I hopefully won't repeat myself in the review. So.... Can we talk about all the twists because there were a lot! I didn't even see all of them coming! Alrighty we start out in typical Jane The Virgin Mode with Jane's choice between Raphael and Michael... I'd be okay with either but I think I'm team Michael. Jane has a weird moment with Raphael and thinks she's better off without him and just having him be the father of her child. She's also starting to have some feelings for Michael again. Then she almost has the baby on the bus and some woman helps her and gets the bus driver to take her to the hospital. Rogellio and Xo are in Vegas and they get drunk and can't remember what happens, but they make it just in time to see Jane deliver a baby boy. I knew it would be a boy! Lets pause on that a little and go to Michael and his ex partner/friend with benefits who comes back says she has a lead on Sin Rostro, gives him an address where the plastic surgeon is and by the time Michael gets there, he's de...

Derek Shepherd woke up in a state of shock. He could see that he was on a hospital bed, in a very familiar looking hospital. "He's Awake" he heard a man's voice say. He knew that voice... it couldn't be... could it?  "Mark?"  Mark Sloan turned to Derek and said "What Up McDreamy?"  Derek was more confused than he's ever been in his life... he was pretty sure that he had died... but it looks like he's getting saved in a hospital... but also Mark Sloan is dead... so he doesn't fully get it. Alright so I already did a review of the pilot on this blog and I said it was bad... It was a pretty bad over the top pilot... but sticking with it its really great. I'm at the end of the Penultimate episode and I have a theory... So I'm gonna pause I'm in suspense... but I want to write my theory on this blog before I actually see what happens so it isn't tainted. If you haven't watched it yet, don't read this before watching it! Lol. Theory  Okay so for a while now I thought that if I were to write this... I would have Abbi as the killer. She's this sweet innocent girl, it would be shocking, terrifying and very twisted if she ended up being the killer. There was one reference I caught onto also pointing to her. The stalker mentioned getting "The Monkey off his back"... and that's what Ryan Phillipee's character refers to Abbi as... Okay so there is that. She's also a super daddy's girl, and they play her as kind of this dumb ...

So a few weeks ago I started to suspect that the AHS worlds were all connected, aside from Pepper being in both seasons. I figured that if I watched all the seasons at once I would start seeing these patterns, so the plan is to watch each season very slowly. I'm trying to have it so that the episodes are lined up with the current season, so I have to catch up a little bit, but I think it will be interesting. So far I've watched all the episodes of Freakshow, 2 episodes of Coven and the first episode of Murder House and Asylum. So the first connection that is quite obvious with each season is probably the most obvious: These are all American horror stories. They're quite American tales. The Murder House season is the stuff American stories are made of! American family moves from the East to the West in an attempt to put together their dysfunctional family... and they succeed, even if in a dark way because that's what America is about.
