Sooo... Men In Black isn't really a perfect franchise... but in the first 3 movies you're pretty much guaranteed some fun characters with great chemistry, some fun villains... and some actual LAUGHS. This movie had... none of that... And it's not like anyone in the movie or working behind the scenes of the movie is that bad. My boyfriend thought maybe the director was bad... he's directed some good movies including The Italian Job and Straight Outta Compton. The writers really don't seem that bad. Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Liam Neison, and even Kumail Nanjiani who voiced Pawny are all good... so that doesn't make sense. Tessa Thompson and Hemsworth have also worked together in Thor and Avengers Endgame... so they do have great chemistry together... just nothing really worked in this movie.
