Okay so I'm going to talk about an episode of Friends that I like... but it's weird. The One With The Fake Monica. So in this episode Monica finds out that her credit card is being stolen and she befriends the woman that stole her card... which is weird???  So anyway- I read  this  article about it on the AV club and there are 2 different people commenting on 2 episodes... I just kind of skimmed through what they thought about this episode in particular just because I wanted to know what the response of this episode was. On Kumail Nanjiani's The X Files Files podcast he reads the message boards of those episodes and what people thought about them at the time. I couldn't really find anything on Friends- although I didn't really look that hard lol. In some of the season 8- onward episodes I can tell you what I thought of them at the time when they were on but... this one I couldn't find anything for.  SOOO anyway... this episode starts off with Monica finding out ...

Alright- so... every time I've watched Friends I've thought that Chandler and Monica were just friends until they got together... but I've seen fan theories going around... and I don't think I actually saw the video that showed this or read anything about it- but whenever I see a Fan Theory video it shows Chandler trying to imitate Richard... so I believe that was what the theory was... and I feel like there's evidence to support that.  1) Monica was Chandler's Type  Let's start out with the fact that all of the women chandler dated looked more like Monica than the other girls on the show. Janice has dark hair and brown eyes, Kathy has more reddish hair but it was still darker and she did look a bit like Monica. In season 1 he briefly dated a woman that was in a polyamorous marriage and she also had hair similar to Monica's. Heck even Yazmin Bleeth on Baywatch had darker hair more like Monica's.  And I believe the only instances we see Chandler attra...

So I think Friends kind of became my favorite show because I like the characters a lot and there are 10 seasons so there are just so many episodes. There are a few shows that are like it a lot and... some of them aren't as good. We'll talk about that too but it's just nice to have a group of friends on a show and... I just kind of like the group dynamic that comes from friends.  How I Met Your Mother  So this is a show I no longer like... the finale just kind of ruined it for me... and I don't know. All of the unrealistic crap that happened throughout the show seems forgivable if Ted ends up with the mother, Barney ends up with Robin and of corse Marshal and Lilly stay together. I always actually pictured them all together on the front porch because Lilly mentioned "The Front Porch Test" while thinking of who Ted would end up with and she'd picture them all on the front porch together and see if they were happy. It's so sad that the mother died so they...

So on Friends Friday I'm going to post WHATEVER I want about Friends. I've seen every episode of Friends at least a million times and it's a show I pretty much watch daily- lately I've been watching it pretty much all day... so there are things I pick up on. Sure the episodes are still the same as they've always been... but I change every time I watch an episode. So with that... let's do a little bit of a Phoebe Buffay Appreciation Post!  Phoebe might be my favorite Friend. It has switched a lot over the years... but I feel like if you asked someone that knew me which friend I was most like... they'd probably say Phoebe. In fact I'm pretty sure my roommate my sophomore year of college said "Yeah, you're definitely a Phoebe" and I don't think she knew me that well really... but she lived with me and I appreciated the thought of her thinking me like a Phoebe.  So aside from my personal connection with Phoebe- She really is a talented pers...

Hey guys! I wanted to post more about the show Friends... and since I've been watching it basically all the time I figured I'd just post about it on Friday's sometimes. This might be an every friday thing, this might be an `every other Friday thing... this might just be something I do from time to time... but this is what I'll talk about today! Lol. I already have an idea for next week's post.  New Favorite Episodes  I feel like favorite episodes can constantly change... but I've had the same 2 favorites for a while now. "The One With All The Thanksgivings" and "The One Where Chandler Takes A Bath." It shifts between the 2 episodes but these are both so funny. I love The One With All The Thanksgivings because I like when the gang is all together in one place- plus we got the flashback of 4 of the characters... which is always fun! And Chandler taking a bath is really funny too... so I like that one... but I do have some favorites that I feel ...
