Okay guys... so you know I love Halloween and I love American Horror Story... so I thought I would talk about American Horror Story every day until Halloween. It's halloween-ish... and I love Talking about AHS... so I thought I'd do some reviews, maybe some theories... and I'm going to start with how I would rank the seasons today. This is subject to change... I feel like I always have a different view with it... but still. I will give you my rankings and my reasonings for the first 7 seasons. 7) Asylum-  I know this is a lot of people's favorite season... a lot of podcasts I listen to rank it highly... and I have to admit there are some great episodes in this season... but as a whole- there was almost no payoff from this season. I think the alien thing would have been good... had it not been in this season. I feel like the Adam Levine/ Jenna Dewan Tatum parts are just too cheesy and that didn't really need to be in the story at all... Dr. Arden's Monster...

So... I did not post last week because the My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 Trailer was more important... so now I'm doing these every other week I think and just combining two episodes. Hotel  Episode 5: Room Service  Ohhh my gosh. This might be the most uncomfortable episode of anything I've ever seen. After the part where the kid was dressed as the pirate and killed his parents and then went to school... I didn't like that. Alex, that's her name right? Chloe Sevigny's character... that was so dumb that she did that... that was dumb. But she's all about saving children and it seems she doesn't really care about adults.  The only episode I think that might have been harder for me to watch was the Christmas episode of Asylum... which I'm dreading watching in this re-watch. That's the only episode I'm really not looking forward too. Lol. The rest of the episode was kind of funny actually. We learned about Liz Taylor, who doesn't really...

Alrighty Episode 3 of every season! I'm trying to watch them in order this time too. I was going to do the Halloween 2 part episodes together, but they don't quite match up every season... so yeah. Murder House  Murder House I kind of love this episode. I think its spooky at the end when Ben builds the Gazebo and Francis Conroy cries because she feels badly for the girl. This is the first appearance of Lilly Rabe, who is great on the show and in this season she's really great. I loved finding out about the history of the house and how it was built and everything. This also has strong connections to Coven. Dr. Montgomery has a Frankenstein complex, Madison Montgomery has a little bit of a frankenstein complex as well. Its just good. Asylum  No'reaster  Sister Mary Eunice being possessed is really quite scary. And I remember being disturbed by the fact that she kills the Mexican woman. It's even more disturbing that it will later be blamed on Pepper who is com...

So keeping up with the AHS Rewatch theme... I'm re-watching all the seasons but week by week and episode by episode and just giving a recap of what I think of the episode in the current season. This is just for me to try to connect different things and piece together how everything is related. I'm going out of order with the seasons and... yeah. Its just kind of a fun and different way for me to enjoy one of my favorite shows. Coven  Boy Parts  I started off with Coven this time because I didn't want to watch anything too scary right now... and Coven is probably the least scary season and... this episode is sort of on the light side too. I don't like the Frankenstein thing... I feel like this was a terrible misuse of Evan Peters. Ryan Murphy said he was good with physical acting... meh. I feel like Max Greenfield would have been good in this part! But yeah... no. I really like Cordelia, but at the start of the season, she's not nearly as good a character as Lana...

So... I'm going to try something I've always wanted to do. I love American Horror Story and last year I kind of wanted to re-watch all the seasons 1 by one episode by episode. This week I'll watch Episode 1 of Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show and I already reviewed Hotel... but maybe I'll watch it again and see what happens. Idk how regularly I'll keep up with this one, but I'm going to try and if you guys like it, I'll keep up with it. If I get busy or if people hate it, I'll stop lol. This will probably be time Consuming Murder House Pilot  So this was really cool to re-watch. I always forget that we actually see Vivian walking in on her husband in the act. And the scene at the beginning where her doctor is comparing her to the house is a really good opening scene. I caught the reference to a mental Asylum in there pretty clearly... Its hard to say what the clue for Season 6 is because there wasn't too much dialogue. Maybe American Horr...

So a few weeks ago I started to suspect that the AHS worlds were all connected, aside from Pepper being in both seasons. I figured that if I watched all the seasons at once I would start seeing these patterns, so the plan is to watch each season very slowly. I'm trying to have it so that the episodes are lined up with the current season, so I have to catch up a little bit, but I think it will be interesting. So far I've watched all the episodes of Freakshow, 2 episodes of Coven and the first episode of Murder House and Asylum. So the first connection that is quite obvious with each season is probably the most obvious: These are all American horror stories. They're quite American tales. The Murder House season is the stuff American stories are made of! American family moves from the East to the West in an attempt to put together their dysfunctional family... and they succeed, even if in a dark way because that's what America is about. Since its Halloween week, I thought I would talk about the person all AHS fans are weirdly attracted to this MCM... EVAN PETERS! 1) He can play the good guy and the bad guy- One of the reasons I think its weird to be so attracted to him is that he can be both good and bad. In season 1 of AHS he was the bad guy that everyone kind of fell in love with because he was so good to Violet. But ultimately he was a very bad guy that did something very very bad (I don't really want to give spoilers... but if you haven't seen season 1 at least you probably have no interest in the series.) But then in season 2 he was really a good guy in a bad place. He was open minded and the aliens chose him for that reason. And in season 3 and from what it seems in season 4... hes not good or bad. He can really do good things. 2) I've never loved his storylines, but I think he does a great job- I like his characters... but I feel like he has very odd storylines that don't quite fit in with t...

So last night was the Season Finale of Coven so I'm going to review it. There are spoilers... but the first few paragraphs are spoiler free. In case you were wondering. I was pleasantly surprised by this finale. Last year's finale was just so boring. It seems like usually AHS tries to wrap everything up in the penultimate episode and they leave something for the finale, nothing huge happens but theres usually enough to keep everything interesting. The first season's finale did that absolutely brilliantly and the second season not so much. This year I thought A LOT happened in the finale for once. For one, I like the whole concept of the Seven Wonders. They sort of kept what they were hidden throughout the season and we finally got to see what they were. There was 1)Telekinesis 2) Mind Control 3) Divination 4) Resurrection 5) going to hell and coming back 6) transmutationt? Idk it was like the girls were playing tag and they could show up out of no where 7) ... idk I...
