The Daily Something

So- I just got back home from my first experience speed dating at my favorite bar in the area... and honestly it was really fun! Side note... I did mention to a bunch of people that I wrote the blog that was the #1 google result for List of Moose Puns (true story) and on the off chance anyone is reading this... that's cool. Everyone was actually pretty nice. Guys really like Game of Thrones... so if you're looking for a dude... watch Game of Thrones? I only saw the first season and I liked it but never watched more of it. Anyway... this is not a Game of Thrones Review... I wanted to talk about speed dating. So the bar that did it is a really nice bar... but not the best for an event like this... and where they had it just kind of felt awkward. My ears are still ringing because it was very loud... it's also really dark- and they gave very tiny name tags for everyone that basically no one could read... so that was all kind of awkward. It was also very hot... so I was sweat...

I'm not sure if I've ever told this story on this blog before... but I'm going to talk about this now! This is an actual story too! So this is a real Scribble about my Real Life. Scary! I feel like I never talk about that anymore!  So when I went to 6th Grade it was a new school for me. It was a Grammar School that I just started in 6th Grade and I went to public school in kindergarden-5th grade... so I was the new kid and the school was a bit different for me. And the group of friends I made were very nice and I'm still friends with most of them today... so that was good. But when I first met them I was sort of known as the girl that laughed a lot. I laughed at the end of every sentence... I don't think I do that anymore- but I'm not sure. I did that pretty much all through high school and some of college. But I laughed a lot... and I had a funny laugh too. I would try to laugh like Karen from Will and Grace because she's my idol... Seriously- as a kid I...

Sooo happy Groundhog Day! Is there an all day marathon of the movie Groundhog day on some channel? There probably is and if there isn't this should be a thing and maybe I will actually watch it for the first time today. This is kind of a different blog for me... and I kind of want to introduce it but at the same time not introduce it... if that makes sense? It doesn't... so I'm going to kind of explain this anyway. So I was trying to think of ideas of actual books I want to write, movies I want to write... there's a short story I would love to make into a novel but now I'm thinking "Maybe I'm just too attached to this story and I need not to write it and just leave it as a short story... I don't know... it's something I wrote in creative writing in college... so I'm sure it isn't as good as I think it is... but it has potential and I need to do something more with that... or something more with writing in general... because mainly what I...

I'm sorry about that! I think I'm going to change my blog a little bit and make it a little more scribbles about life-y and actually make time to write about my life... sometime during the day. I think Monday's will still be more of a "Story Time" thing for the most part... I still want to do Chart Chats and reviews...I may do some reviews on my youtube channel... but that can be kind of difficult because in my Star Wars video people were spamming my comments and I didn't like that... so yeah. Saturday 2.25  Today we had friends over for dinner. We were celebrating one of our friends birthdays and we just caught up, ate some roast beef and it was all nice and fun! They were over for a while! It was good! We had fun! I watched some crazy ex girlfriend, I cleaned the bathroom and started listening to the soundtrack for Dear Evan Hansen... which was really good so far! I've just been listening to musical soundtracks lately, I've been listening to The Great Comet of 1812 and I finished that... so now I'm just watching a little bit of everything! Sunday 2.26  Sunday my sister and niece stopped over! She picked up the handprint paperweight that she made with the baby and we got one as well! So cute! We talked a little and watched the baby and played with her and we watched the Oscars a little bit! The baby looks a little bigger and different every time we see her now! She's got a lot of hair! Saturday 1/14  I saw my niece again today. She is the cutest little baby! She was a little fussier today than she had been before. Lot's of "Waaaaahhhhhhh" which was cute. We sang Wheels on the Bus to her... it was a fun day. I finished watching A Series of Unfortunate Events too. I think I'm going to watch it again... but like each part day by day in 4 days because I think that might be better... and then I'm going to pick up where I left off in the books I think, which is book 5 and then on from there... just because I really want to finish it. I don't think I need to reread the first 4 books because I remember them pretty well... and I just watched the show. I have to admit... I was a little bit Disappointed in Sir.  They said that you couldn't see his face because it was covered in smoke I was hoping they would do that on the show too because I liked that imagery in the book... so that was what I was most looking forward to and in turn what I ...

Sunday  Today is my sister's baby shower! I'm really excited to go. We're actually having it at one of my mom's best friends houses... so it isn't that big of a party, but its going to be very pretty and well decorated. My mom's friend does a lot of stuff on Pinterest and she's very talented and crafty... so it's going to look awesome! And it did look awesome! And it was tons of fun! We got subs from one of our favorite places, Nino Jr's for everyone to eat. There was a hot chocolate station and  I had the most delicious hot chocolate ever... Honey cake desserts. Little jars of honey as the favors. It's just really cute and fun. Everything was absolutely perfect! It was a lot of fun! I don't really want to share too much because it's a private thing and I don't think I'm going to say my nieces name... I might have somewhere on here... but yeah. Everything was perfect! This is a little rattle set we got... I forget if we go...

So this is procrastinating in a totally new form... its just wanting to do something and then just being like "I'll get to it later" or "I'll do it after I do this" or "Meh. Someday." Procrastination to me is just like when I was in college and I waited until the very last minute to study or to write papers. I would always do wayyy better on the papers I wrote last minute... and i would honestly have wayyy more fun writing them. Something about just thinking on your feet and writing on it just made me go "Yes. I am brilliant." And that was really quite fun. But the "I'll get to it later" problem is a lot different. Like sometime before my sister's wedding I got the original Star Wars Trilogy on DVD and I wanted to watch them and do a Throwback Thursday on them... but then I wanted to make sure my room was clean first and then I wanted to re-read the Harry Potter series and do a Throwback Thursday on that... but I sti...

My first day as a 25 year old... here's what happened! I woke up super early... I did makeup that was a little weird, different than what I usually do... but still nice and yeah. It's Ravenclaw inspired and it will be on a blog coming soon. Then my mom and I went to Costco. She needed to return something and we looked around a little bit. It was fun. But then we needed coffee... so we went to Starbucks! Which happens to be inside of a Target... so we looked at Target! I got Crayola Markers and the book Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarity... Idk what its about but its for my book club. And we went to AC Moore to look at halloween decorations and stuff and then CVS because that's always fun. We were going to go to a Greek place that we liked... but its closed apparently, which is really sad... so we went to a different Greek Place and that was good too. Favorites  The Tim Tracker- Tim Tracker does really good  Vlogs on YouTube for Disney and Universal. I've really thought the Halloweeen Horror Nights videos were fun. I've been watching some of their older videos and they're just a fun couple. Tim and Jen Tracker. Really good! The Good Place- Still my favorite show of the season! Super funny and just all around good show! Dove Chocolate Bars- my mom always gets these and I usually have a few... gotta say I like them better now. Favorites  Scream Queens- I didn't love the premiere of season 2 quite as much as I loved Season 1... but this is still a great show and possibly my favorite on TV currently. So yeah... it was really really good! The Good Place- This is my favorite show this year so far! If you like Parks and Rec or Brooklyn 99... You might like this! Same writers I believe. And it wasn't really what I expected at all. There's a lot more plot to it than it seemed from the commercials. It was funny though because in the comments someone said "This is just like the show Selfie" which made me laugh because really Selfie was based off of Pygmalion. I don't think they were really going for a total Pygmalion theme the way that Selfie was... and this is much more creative than Selfie. I thought maybe today I would do something like a What's Up Wednesday... but on a Monday. I had a dream this morning that my teeth were falling out. It started with one chip in my tooth and then that fell out and then all my other teeth were falling out and I was like "Wait, people have dreams where there teeth are falling out. Maybe this is just a dream... I don't think it is, but I'll pinch myself to see if it is" so I pinched myself and then realized it was a dream. And then I had some more weird/ bad dreams because I fell asleep with the news on... which is just about the scariest thing you can do. Woke up kinda dragging today, so I got a Venti Salted Caramel Mocha from Starbucks... it was delicious... but too much. I haven't had the Salted Caramel Mocha in a few years because the last time I had it, I had it with a Salted Caramel brownie.. and that was too much... and today I realized that just the Salted Caramel Mocha on its own was a little much too...

Alrighty so let's talk about today. I woke up... pretty late again even though I wanted to wake up extra early. I was up late last night, idk why... but I just wasn't that tired... so I stayed up till like 2 and watched The Office... and so I woke up pretty late. I made myself an iced coffee in my Keurig. I did the Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice. Its hard to make Iced Coffee in my keurig because you need a bigger glass and it doesn't fit underneath my Keurig, so I just brew it regularly then I put it in a large glass with a lot of ice in it and then pour it in there. I put a little extra sugar in it because it needs it when its iced and then I drank it... and it was pretty tasty! I love it! And then for lunch my mom got some Tostitos and we had some leftover taco meat... so we had nachos for lunch and it was delicious!!! Very yummy and we've never made nachos before, so that was good! I went to CVS with my mom, which was fun. They didn't have the Wet n Wild Hi...

Wazzzzzzzzuppppp Wednesday! -Reading Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. I thought I knew the direction it was going in... but now I'm not so sure. It is really great though! -I also got my computer back, so my blogging should be back to a better schedule. - I went out in the pool and read some more of the book... and then that made me sleepy so I took a nap even though I was almost done. -I finished it... Wassssssssabbbbbiiiii Wednesday! -I wanted to wake up early to write stuff... But I didn't. I want to try writing in the morning because they say your day hasn't been influenced by anything and that's when you're the most you... Idk I think a big part of who a person is is the stuff that influences them throughout the day and how they react to it... So that doesn't totally make sense to me... But I'll take it with a grain of salt.  -I did, however, start the "fitness" journal I mentioned yesterday and I had a good workout today. I thought it was a little too much at first..but it's probably okay.  -also listened to the Hamilton Soundtrack while working out and that was awesome. -had a good lunch too. -went in the pool and read some more of Me Before You, which is a great book! Highly recommend! I'm on page 201 exactly lol.  -had sausage and peppers for dinner. That was yummy. Mozzarella cheese was also involved. I liked it!  -wa...

So in January I went to the eye doctors to pick up glasses and some mild hilarity ensued. I mentioned this in a weekly wrap up back in January... and I figured I'd save the story till May because why not! I'm giving myself the month of May off Anyway so picking up glasses that you've already paid for doesn't take a very long time usually... but there was this teenage boy in front of us taking FOREVER to decide what glasses he wants. This never happens at my eye doctors because the woman working at the glasses counter is the absolute best! She looks at you, gets an idea of what you like and picks out the pair you will fall in love with on the first try. She's super amazing with that... and I'm indecisive on things... especially things I'm going to wear on my face... but she just gets peoples styles and chooses the perfect pair right away. But yeah this kid... btw a teenage boy who was probably going to lose that pair of glasses a week after getting them.....

-Woke Up Early to get to a radio station giveaway. - Didn't get anything good. Just some coupons. Today has been super busy... idk when I'm going to going to have a chance to write at all this week! This weekend is my sister's bachelorette party so... yeah.
