Snippets of my day - 4.4.16

Today has been super busy... idk when I'm going to going to have a chance to write at all this week! This weekend is my sister's bachelorette party so... yeah. I'm just going to give you some snippets of my day... this might be what I'm doing all week... you know what? Yeah. This week will be snippet week. Lol.

- Last night/ at like midnight today I started cleaning my room, and I did a pretty good job. It was nice.
-I'm doing a makeup challenge, and today's look was blue, and I really liked the look I came up with! I used Makeup Geek's Pegasus for the blue and Phantom to sort of anchor it...  I love it!
- Went to the dollar store looking for compact mirrors for my sister's bridal shower.
-They didn't have them, looked at another drugstore... didn't have them.
- Went to Starbucks and had a White Mocha. Everyone working at my starbucks is the best. They were all nice.
- Went to Target and got Bridal Shower Bingo. They didn't have the compacts.
-Went to another discount store to look for decorative mugs or teacups. I found beautiful ones and showed my mom... they had the Duck Dynasty people on them...
- Went to the craft store... my mom got glue and asked if they had compacts... they did! Within our price range too and they were cute, so we got them!
- Went to Ulta cause I had a coupon. Got my 2 favorite things: Highlighter and Mascara!
- Went to the mall. Got a skirt from American Eagle.
- My mom said she was going to 2 different stores (at opposite ends of the mall) and I texted her asking where she was and decided to just go to one store to look.
-She was at the other store of corse.
-I started going up the down escalator when I found that up.
-I made it to the up escalator. I asked where my mom was, she said she was upstairs by Models... I didn't know there were models at the mall.
-It was Modell's. The sports store.
-We went grocery shopping and looked for Jordan Almonds. Thought one store had it too big so we looked at other stores.
-We were hungry.
- We ate.
- Couldn't find Jordan Almonds anywhere else.
- Went back to original store and got almonds.
- went home. wrote a blog... that's what this is...
-So now... I'm watching Periscope and writing this and later I'll be decorating for the shower with my sisters soon to be sister in law and nieces and we'll be eating pizza I think.

And... I'm spoiling the Fitbit Friday... but I reached 10,000 steps really early in the day.

Hope you guys like this... I'm having a fun day... byeee!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
