The Daily Something

This is going to be a weird review... there were a lot of things I liked about this movie and a lot of things I didn't like about it. Overall I liked the movie, it was cute, heartwarming and its something I can see actually watching several times throughout the years and holiday seasons. I thought the biggest problem with it was that it was wayyy wayyy too long. There is really no reason for a 2 hour long Grumpy Cat movie... It just got pretty boring kind of fast. Sooo I'll try to explain the premise of the movie... but it should be warned that this makes no sense at all. There were a lot of characters and so many stories and substories it was a bit much. The titular character of this movie is Grumpy Cat herself, voiced by the Amazing Aubrey Plaza, who redefines the word grumpy. Then there is a little girl named Chrystal who's parents just got divorced and had no friends, her mom, the elf that she flirts with, the pet store owner, all the pets, the security guy, the landl...

1) HIMYM Pineapple Incident Mystery= solved!- How I Met Your Mother released a new deleted scene that explains what the deal with the pineapple that Ted stole that one time when he was drunk. I was happy it was finally explained and they even made sure to include The Captain in solving their mystery... but I see why it was deleted. Ted told his kids that he still didn't know what happened with that pineapple. And now they just use it basically as an advertisement to buy the complete series. I'm a little over HIMYM now that the finale was so bad. It just... meh. 2) Honey Boo Boo's mom breaks up with Sugar Bear- Well okay, not necessarily "breaks up" but they're taking some time apart. Not shocking, I mean not to sound sexist or anything... but I think Honey Boo Boo's mom has 4 kids all from different fathers none of which are Sugar Bear. Not really judging, but that is a hard situation for a guy to get into in the first place... plus then he has to be on ...

Sooo since I just talked about Mark Duplass and how much I liked Safety Not Guaranteed, I figured I'd follow up with my woman crush on Aubrey Plaza. Aubrey Plaza is just amazing. I mean on Parks and Rec, in Safety Not Guaranteed... I didn't actually see The To Do List yet, but that looked amazing too. I even downloaded World of Warcraft because of that commercial she was in! She is just perfect. April Ludgate is one of my favorite characters on tv. The way that she interacts with all of the other characters is just so funny. The way that she hates Ann and is annoyed by Chris, but she still cares about them is just really funny. Her relationship with Ron is great, and her and Andy are great. Parks and Rec is such a great show because all of the characters really interact together so well, and I think Aubrey Plaza does a particularly good job of that. Another thing I thought was cool was when she was drunk at the MTV movie awards and got on stage when Will Ferrell...
