Scribbles About Food: Shannon Eats Steak! Moonstruck!

So... this might seem like a big deal... but I haven't eaten steak in a really long time. My parents LOVE steak and they gave it to me so often as a kid I just got tired of it... and I've only had it a few times in the past... 15 years maybe? I've had Chicken fried steak- which is really good. My dad got a hibachi recently and made hibachi steak that I liked. My friend's fiance made some steak kabobs recently also... and I liked that... so I just kind of wanted to venture into eating steak again because I'm getting a little tired of chicken. And there's a really good restaurant in Asbury called Moonstruck... and I thought that would be a good time to try some. My parents really love their steak- I love their food and I've realized this is a good place to try new things... so I got it... and I'll review the appetizer and dessert I had also! Appetizer  We always pretty much order the same appetizers... this time we only ordered the one appetizer whic...

New Food From Starbucks- New Iced Teas, Whoopie Pies, Breakfast Sandwiches, and Cookies!

So one of my favorite places in the world is Starbucks… and they have some new food, some older food that I’m just kind of starting to try now… and it’s just all delicious and I love it… so let’s just get right into everything!  First off… the Peanut Butter Cup Cookie… omg. So yummy. Get it warmed up- it’ll be a little bit cakey and melty and good. There’s chocolate- there’s peanut butter… it is just delicious. I’m obsessed with warmed peanut butter treats… or cool Peanut Butter Treats because I love Peanut Butter Ice Cream… I’m a little nervous about blogging about this one because I know they’ll sell out… but yeah. It’s great!  They have a Chocolate Chip cookie too… also really delicious. Very chocolatey and soft and good. I love that too- don’t order it as much.  The newest sweet treat from them… The Whoopee pies… omg! The Vanilla bean one is excellent. The cake is really yummy and the inside tastes almost like Marshmallow… it is just really yummy and one ...

Scribbles About Food: Teak Restaurant Review

So this is super exciting. I have been wanting to try this restaurant called Teak in Red Bank for a while now. It's a little bit pricey, so I haven't been... but it looked like a great place and a lot of fun. I actually won a gift card from a Facebook page called Jersey Shore in Motion. If you live near the Jersey Shore or vacation at The Jersey Shore... I highly recommend checking out the page. It's a great page for food all around the Jersey Shore... they were super nice and helpful when I won the contest. I guessed the amount of Candy Corn in a jar and I won that whole jar of Candy Corn and a $100 gift card to any Jersey Shore in Motion Restaurant... so that was cool. The Bar/ The Wait/ The Service.  I didn't get a drink from the bar at all, but my friend and I got a coke... which was on the house... really really nice! It was busy, but it didn't take long... I was impressed with the service at the bar! There was a wait for the table. I think they said 35-40...

Scribbles about Food: More Fall Food Faves

Pumpkin season is only halfway over! Its a little easier to find a lot of the pumpkin spice stuff... so I've tried some more things. And this is what I think of them. Thomas's Pumpkin Spice Bagels- These aren't quite as pumpkiny as they used to be I think. They're good... but not my total favorite Pumpkin Spice thing that exists. If you heat them up for too long, they lose their pumpkin flavor completely... so yeah. These are quite good though. Eggo Pumpkin Spice Waffles- I had these last year and I liked them a lot... but I was living in a dorm and there was a weird taste of everything that was in the freezer... so yeah. Now I'm more excited about them because they won't get that weird taste. They are actually really delicious and quite spicey. Jiff Whips Pumpkin Pie- If there is one thing of all of these I recommend, it is this. These are sooo soo good. They aren't that peanut buttery, but the peanut butter flavor is still there and it just tastes li...
