Close Encounters of the Real People kind: Strange Train Encounters

So I've been commuting to school 3 days a week, as I have previously mentioned and yesterday was a particularly strange day to say the least. First off on my way to the train station I heard this conversation. This definitely really happened, I don't know the exact context of the conversation, it may have been a joke, but this is what went down. Woman : Excuse me do you work on this train? Man : No Woman : Do you know if this train is going south or not Man: I'm not sure, where are you going. Woman: I don't know! Man: You don't know?! Woman: It's none of your business! Go Away! And I was like Woahhhhhhhhh! Did that shit really just happened. And yes, it did happen. Just like that too! It was so weird. First off: It's pretty easy to tell who works on the train and who doesn't. Usually the person working on the train has a conductors hat and a bunch of ticket taking tools. Second she was the one asking him for directions, she shouldn...

Close Encounters of the real people Kind- The Train Dancers

Sooo one day I went to the mall and I was  at school at the time, so I decided to take the Path Train to get there and... I was entertained. If you've never been on the Path Train before it's kind of like a subway and a train combined. It looks like a subway only a little nicer on the inside like a train. And they have a few stops between NY and NJ. Sometimes it's really really packed and other times there's a lot of space on the floor and people can move around and stuff... Well that is what these people decided to do. This one guy had a boo box and he just started breakdancing all through our cart. And he was really really good! He was with a few other friends, 1 guy and 2 girls and they were all cool attractive looking hipsters. This guy had a really cool shirt on. A lot of times in newark penn station people ask for money, and this guy was asking for money but he wasn't like begging or anything. Well literally he did beg some of the men on the train that wer...

Close Encounters of the Real People Kind- McDonalds kid

Alrighty I'm gonna be completely honest and tell you guys: I had no clue what to write about today and then I remembered this situation that happened to me on Friday so here it is! I was at the place where most of these stories take place: Newark Penn Station and I had just gotten some McDonalds and was running to my track so that I wouldn't miss it. Anyhoo there was this kid that was little and he was really cute and his mom looked kind of pissed. I think it was his mom at least, she looked a bit young but I didn't get a really good look at her so I don't know. Anyway this kid was pointing at my McDonalds bag like "look mommy I want McDonalds too" or something like that. The mom then really quickly slapped the kid on top of the head and he started crying. I was totally not expecting that to happen and it was kind of funny and I did feel a little bad lol. It wasn't like a hugely painful slap at all... But it also wasn't a light tap. It made a noise...

Close Encounters of the Real People Kind #4- My Oddest Target Experience

So this happened over the summer, and I'm actually going to start off with a less weird target trip just to sort of preface the story and such. So at this point in the summer I was obsessed with the show Extreme Couponers. I don't know what it is about the show, I just love watching it and can watch it for hours. It actually isn't even because its entertaining its because its entertaining enough to keep watching, but not so entertaining that it distracts too much from what I'm doing. I love watching it when I clean my room and stuff. It's just a fun show and its something I'm definitely interested in doing. Free stuff is so easy to get lol.  Anyway so My friend Tori and I were in line at target about to check out and it was taking a long time. Why? BECAUSE THERE WAS A REAL LIFE EXTREME COUPONER RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! It was so exciting. I never thought Target would be like the #1 couponing place to go to because they have some restrictions, and there were...

Close Encounters of The Real People Kind 3: The Rollerskate Kid

So I think this story is pretty funny, but I feel like its one of those "You had to be there" type stories, but I'm gonna try my best to make it so that you're their too. So that you can giggle about this odd little happenstance in my life. (not sure if happenstance is the right word here, but it seems to fit I think.) Anyway I was walking around with my friend, who I was visiting because he lives close to my school and this was during the summer. We were just walking to the train station because I had to go home and somehow we got stuck behind this kid with rollerskates. Now this kid seemed like he was having a lot of fun on his roller skates, but he clearly did not know how to use rollerskates. He was so slow and he was about to fall down, and I was late for the train... and it was just kind of funny. Where the hell were these kids parents? Did he just sneak out of the house? Were they there with him and he was just "so fast on his rollerskates" that h...
