The Daily Something

This was an exciting one. I used to LOVE this movie... if you can even call it a movie... it is so good... I've seen it 100 times probably. I watched it every day for a while and it's just great. It's not for everyone probably... but it's so short that I think anyone could really enjoy it without being bored. For such a short musical... it is very well paced. There are 3 acts, there's a clear storyline and arc for all the characters... there are lots of songs. If you don't like singing... you're not going to like this because there isn't much plot other than the singing... but if you love musicals... there is a lot of character development in the songs... its something that you can sing along to (heyyy... I understand the title now.) And it's very catchy. Even years since I've seen it last... I remembered all of the words. It's also really funny. Spoilers: Not a happy ending... but there are really really funny moments all throughout the ...

I really liked this show! I liked it so much that I actually went back and watched it again! And it was still really good! I liked the series... I didn't mind the movie that was made... but it was a little disappointing because it was just a lot to put into one movie... 3 books in 1 movie is kinda rushed feeling... but it makes sense as a Series... literally it is A Series of Unfortunate Events, it just works as a SERIES! Not so much a movie. I loved the first episode because I'm a big fan of the Addams Family movies and Barry Sonnefield directed those and he directed the first 2 episodes... I think he directed more than that too. I just think he's really good with dark humor and this whole series is ALL about dark humor... and I love that. I thought that The Bad Beginning and The Reptile Room were really funny episodes. The Wide Window Part 2 was a little funnier... The Miserable Mill I was a little disappointed in Sir to be honest... I mentioned that in another post.....

1) The Mortal Instruments to become a tv show- The popular book series about... I have no idea what its about, is set to have a tv show maybe sometime in the future. I'm always skeptical about these things. I believe there was supposed to be a Delerium tv show that didn't end up working out. I think Emma Roberts was even in talks to star, but that didn't happen, there was supposed to be a show based on a book called Swamplandia and that never happened. I wouldn't hold my breath if you are a fan of the series, but I want to read the book and watch the movie, so I'm putting this as noteworthy news this week. 2) American Horror Story renewed for season 5- I was sort of questioning this. I think AHS could easily go on forever, but this year also marks the last season for the leader of the AHS gang, Jessica Lange. I think the show will definitely be hard to recognize without her, but I think it will still be as good... or bad as other seasons. The premier of Freakshow ...
