Chart Chat (1.16.18)

Here's the top 10 movies of the week! Hope you guys like this! I'm also including some of the info about the movies and how long they've been out and how much money they made this week and how much total... so let me know what you think about that! I like doing that! 10) Darkest Hour - (8th week on the chart. 5.6 million this week, 36.8 million total)  I think this was on the charts and off the charts... but I believe with Gary Oldman's recent Golden Globe Win, plus more theaters picking it up now... it's gotten a little more buzz and is making a little bit more money because of that. Compared to the other movies this week... 36 million isn't bad... that's higher than the total that the Number 1 movie of the week has grossed in it's 4 weeks on the chart... although of corse this has been out for 8 weeks instead of just 4. I have a feeling this will jump up the charts a little more because it's getting more buzz. I think Gary Oldman is a really gr...

Chart Chat 10/31/17

Happy Halloween! Here we go with the Chart Chat... which I'm moving to Tuesday for the next few weeks! 10) It- Surprised this is on the bottom of the charts... but it still seems to be going strong for halloween! I didn't see Pennywise when I went out... I saw a couple of Twisty's though... which is strange. One Bar had a drawing of Pennywise on the menu... but I didn't see anyone dressed up as Pennywise. Just as well... that's a little too scary! 9) Suburbicon- This looks good... but I'm not too fond of Matt Damon or George Clooney right now... who knows though- they are good actors... but I can't see how something has been going on for years and they are "so shocked" about it... that's just me... but you know... this sucks lol. This hasn't gotten great reviews from what I've heard- so I think I'd rather hold out for Murder on the Orient Express for my Murder Mystery needs... but this looks good. 8) The Foreigner- I talked ab...

Chart Chat 9.11.17- Clowns save the Box Office????

So... you can probably  guess the number 1 movie by the title of this... but I thought it was important. I mentioned last week it was the lowest Labor Day Weekend at the Box Office... and it's been the lowest summer in a while... I've personally only seen one movie this summer... but yeah. This R rated Horror Remake did really well! 10) The Emoji Movie-  Still on the Charts! This did better last week than the previous week it was out. I think this is a fun idea for a cartoon about emojis... I don't think this has quite the appeal they were hoping for. With something like Wreck It Ralph- people my age like to see it... with something like this... I'm not dying to see it. I probably will because I love cartoons... but it isn't something I was crazy about seeing... I don't think a lot of parents really wanted to see it. 9) Logan Lucky- I think this movie has Channing Tatum in it... I've talked about it before on Chart Chats... I don't think I need to fu...

Chart Chat 6.26.17

Alrighty! Let's see what's number 10... and then what's number 1. With the other numbers in the middle! 10) Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2- Ughhhh I wanted to see this movie! I thought I'd see it this weekend... life happened so I didn't see it but I hope it's on DVD soon because I don't think I'll see it before it goes out. If I see any movie it'll be Despicable Me 3... and idk if I'll see that... so yeah. 9) Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie- This looks funny. This was another one that I was kind of surprised by... similar to the new Smurfs movie... I thought this would be a little bit more popular than it was. I can see why it wasn't... but it looks like a fun story of Friendship and it just looks fun! 8) Rough Night- Idk about this one... hasn't been doing to well on the charts either... so I'm guessing a lot of people were like "nahhh... I'd rather see The Mummy." Which is a little shocking to me... b...

Chart Chat 5.15.17

Alrighty! Top 10 movies! Can Snatched with Amy Schumer or the movie with Charlie Hunam that needs no plot because Charlie Hunam is in it beat Guardians of the Galaxy? Nope! Spoilers. 10) Bauhubali 2: The Conclusion- This did pretty well in the US for a foreign film. It's the third week on the charts and it's been slipping since then... doesn't sound like my cup of tea... but it's probably better than Ghost in The Shell right? The movie at least... I might try watching animae sometime. 9) The Circle- This has a very low rating on Rotten Tomatoes according to my mom... I still want to see it. Maybe it's predictable or just not what everyone was expecting... gotta admit that is one exciting cast though! I hope they do more movies together. Lol. 8) Lowriders- First week on the charts off to a bad start! Based on the  IMDB description  this actually kind of interests me. It's about a street artist and his relationship with his father and his brother who is in t...

Chart Chat 4.17.17

Heyyy guys! Sorry for not posting the last couple of days... busy days! Hope everyone is having a good week! If you guys want to compare this too last week's top 10 you can click  here  to check out what I thought of last week's chart. I'm a little happy Logan and Ghost in The Shell are off the charts... I'm not so happy that The Fate of the Furious was released... lol. 10) Kong Skull Island- I'm hoping this is nearing the end of the charts because I'm a little sick of talking about it... lol. I think I've said all I need to say about this movie... I don't want to see it! Thank Goodness Ghost in The Shell is off the charts! Lol. 9) The Case for Christ- I think I predicted last week that this would jump up the chart in it's second week... and believe it or not- It did! It was 10th on the charts last week and this week it's number 9. Not really my cup of tea for a movie... but Faye Dunaway is in it... that's something. She was the only name...

Chart Chat! (feb 17th-Feb 19th)

Here are the new Top Charts of the week at the Box Office! 10) A Cure For Wellness- This looked like a weird movie... but I'm surprised it isn't further on the chart. I guess it was a little weird for most people... because it's low on the chart lol. Doesn't really have the same suspense appeal as Split... and it isn't exactly the best Date night movie for the weekend after Valentines day. 9) La La Land- This probably would be a great date night movie after Valentine's day. It looks cute, it's a musical and it's been getting rave reviews and lots of Oscar Buzz. Hasn't done great on the charts... but it has been in the top 10 for quite some time now. 8) A Dog's Purpose- Just saw this movie and I loved it! I have a review that I'll try to link here (not published quite yet as I'm writing it... so if I don't remember to link it... that is why!) I loved it... it made me cry throughout most of the movie... it was really good to hear ...

Chart Chat 10.10.16

Feel like I haven't done a Chart Chat in a while! Here we go! I actually want to see most of these movies... so that's kind of cool. Also I just posted this on the other blog... so I took it down and now its here. Lol. 10) Queen of Katwe-  Kind of surprised this is at the bottom of the list... but I also didn't realize it was out for 3 weeks already! I don't really know what this is about, but I love Lupita Nyongo! She's an amazing actress and I just love her personality! She seems so fun on the red carpet... and I just like her! 9) Masterminds-  This movie looks so funny! My grandfather and uncle saw it this weekend and they loved it. Said it was really good... so yeah. I feel like Zach Galifinakis is making a comeback... but his last comeback just happened really... so yeah. It's cool to see that Zach Galifinakis is the new Zach Galifinakis. 8) Sully- I've mentioned this before, looks like a good movie... probably not going to see it. Not really my thi...
