This is kind of like Superbowl Smackdown... but obviously for the Grammy's. I think I did this last year too! I like award show recaps... and there was a lot for this year... so Let's go on! James Corden was really funny. He wasn't on the show that much though, but he did a really fun opening rap song that went over the music related things that happened this year... the nominees and such. I really liked that. James Corden is a pretty good rapper. Then the awards started... Chance The Rapper won the first of the night for Best New Artist... I was rooting for him, I like him a lot on the Hamilton Mixtape and I just downloaded his cd. He released it only on streaming services... which is interesting. I only listen to Apple Music right now... so that works perfectly for me! The performances were all really good too... aside from a few technical difficulties. Favorites  The Santa Clarita Diet- I finished this season the day it came out. It's not something I'm like "Ohhh should I watch that again?" Right now... but I did really enjoy it. I'll have a full review on Wednesday, that's going to have some mild spoilers maybe... but it's good! Take my word for it, if you like Zombies, this is a good one! A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Austere Academy- This is a really funny book. I like the characters in it a lot, this is the first book I've read from the series in 13 years probably... so it's exciting to re-read it. I'm excited to see what the show does with this. So I thought I'd do a whole news post dedicated to Beyonce. I don't know if this will be the only Beyonce news post ever... I think anytime Beyonce does something amazing... I'll write a Beyonce news about her. Disclaimer: I did not see the Lemonade special and I do not own the cd or the special... if its available to purchase. I didn't know about it and I was too late on it and then everyone was talking about it the next day and I thought I lost 10 years of my life... so yeah. Here's kinda what happened. So Queen Bey decided to do a special and a cd called Lemonade. And the special was a one day only thing and the cd you can still download. And it was about a lot of things. So I want to do this even though I don't think I have much to say about the game... I don't understand football too much and I usually watch the Commercials and the halftime show and stuff... but this year nothing was too great... but the game was a little exciting to begin with. So why was this game particularly exciting? Peyton Manning is old. He's not OLD, he's 39... which is pretty old for a Quarterback and he is in fact the oldest QB to win or be in a Super Bowl. He is up against The Panthers, who have never won a Super Bowl and their QB is Cam Newton who is pretty much a superhuman. He's what you think of when you think of a football player. One of my favorite cooking channels on youtube (Food Wishes) said that Peyton Manning looks like your dad and Cam Newton looks like a superhero... so it seemed like a pretty obvious win for the Panthers... ... but that didn't happen!
