Scribbles About Movies: Star Wars: The Last Jedi (no major spoilers... but I do bring up some things they don't show in the trailer)
I'm so excited to do this review on the second movie in the new Star Wars Trilogy. I really loved The Force Awakens and while I don't think this movie is quite as fun as The Force Awakens... it's still a really great movie. There were a lot of awesome twists and the ending was just kind of mind-blowing in its awesomeness... so I really really loved it! So while I did love this movie... it did start out very, very slow. This is a problem I have with most of the Star Wars movies... I think that's why I like Return of The Jedi so much because that gets to the point right away... but this definitely started very slow. There was a lot of action in it... there was a little bit of humor... there but it was mostly just racing, blowing stuff up... and that sort of thing. It wasn't bad... just not my thing and a little bit on the slower side. I think in the new movies- my favorite parts have been when Finn first appears in the movie.
