Okay... so this is kind of a funny idea that I had. I've always thought of what fictional characters I'd have on my apocalypse team... and I thought it would be fun to do this all Marvel Style... so yeah. I'll try to have 10 people on the team... not just from the MCU but from any Marvel Movie... so yeah! Heroes and villains... and maybe even side characters. In this version- doesn't matter if they're alive or dead- we're just going to assume they are alive. 1) Deadpool- So Deadpool is an obvious pick because he can't die. I feel like he might be the most annoying member of the apocalypse team... but I think we would get along fine. Okay- so you guys know Marvel has kind of been my recent obsession... and I've already done some reviews for some of the movies I've seen and loved... but I'm going to dedicate every Monday to some kind of Marvel movie or TV Show. I probably won't get into all of the X Men movies- but I will do some movies and shows outside of the MCU- like Deadpool, Jessica Jones, and some of the earlier Spider Man Movies! Anyway... I was pretty excited that this came to Netflix because I've never actually seen a Thor movie and I know that this is kind of a lighter and funnier Marvel movie. I really like the director of the movie- Taika Waititi- he directed one of the funniest movies of all time which is a mockumentary about Vampires called What We Do In The Shadows. So I'm trying to watch a few more of the Marvel movies because I want to see Avengers Infinity War... I just mentioned this in a post... but I started with Avengers: Age of Ultron. This isn't the first Marvel Movie I've ever seen... but it's the first in a long time. I have seen the original Avengers and Guardians of The Galaxy... and I think that's all! So yeah this was a good re-introduction to the MCU and I thought it was really fun to watch. I only vaguely remember the first Avengers movie and the first Guardians of The Galaxy... so I didn't really know what I was getting into watching this. At the beginning I didn't really know who they were fighting or what was going on and that didn't really deter me from liking it. Seeing the action and the character interactions... it's just fun to watch. And I think its easy enough to just kind of pick up what's going on.
