This is kind of like Superbowl Smackdown... but obviously for the Grammy's. I think I did this last year too! I like award show recaps... and there was a lot for this year... so Let's go on! James Corden was really funny. He wasn't on the show that much though, but he did a really fun opening rap song that went over the music related things that happened this year... the nominees and such. I really liked that. James Corden is a pretty good rapper. Then the awards started... Chance The Rapper won the first of the night for Best New Artist... I was rooting for him, I like him a lot on the Hamilton Mixtape and I just downloaded his cd. He released it only on streaming services... which is interesting. I only listen to Apple Music right now... so that works perfectly for me! The performances were all really good too... aside from a few technical difficulties. Adele had a technical difficulty during her tribute to George Michael... and I don't think that tribute did hi...

Here I'm going to talk about the movies I didn't see and the songs I don't like. Everyone else seems to have seen them and liked them... so yeah. Movies  5) Daddy's Home- I think this movie looks really cute! My grandfather actually saw it this weekend and said it was really funny. I know its not getting great reviews... but come on. It's not like Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are looking for an Oscar here. 4) 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Beinghazi- Interesting... Haven't heard about this one. Ohhh no I have, this is the new Michael Bay movie that John Krasinski is in. I love John Krasinski... I thought this was a documentary or something and I would have watched it then... but I don't think I'll watch it. I'm not into super actiony movies. Pretty low on the charts for a Michael Bay movie... but I guess its up against Star Wars and coming out when people are interested in seeing the Oscar movies. 3) Star Wars: The Force Awakens- Wow. So I heard this song on the radio once, on the radio station my dad listens to... which I don't normally like... but this song kind of spoke to me. I feel like this song to me is what Hello by Adele is to most people. I feel like maybe because of my age and my life experiences this song makes me feel things and Hello doesn't totally make me feel things... but this one makes me miss people and things. And like he's saying that he hopes everything works out for whoever he's singing the song to... but its not like he's wishing her anything amazing. Just kind of simple things that seem like the worst things that could possibly happen when you're in high school, but then when you're a grown up... the things happen and you barely blink an eye. So Adele has a new song, and aside from it being a good song... her comeback is pretty meme-worthy. Everyone from Lionel Ritchie to Napoleon Dynamite has something to say about it... so I thought I need to do this for Shannon Goes Viral. 1) The original Music Video- Adele looking FIERCE in this video! Seriously! Her makeup is gorgeous, and its all in black and white... but damn she's crying the whole video and her liner and lashes still look fierce as ever! Alrighty! So I'm picking up with the news from the end of the last time of my news post to now... the end of October... so this should be fun! 1) Is There Life on Mars?- David Bowie was right! There is life on Mars! Well... its possible for there to be life on Mars at least. They found signs of salty, liquid water in the summer months. I'm guessing theres some sort of fish type creature living there... not sure. I'm sure there's life on other planets somewhere. I mean why would we be the only planet?
