Cookies and Cream S'mores?

So I've never actually had this before and I didn't know how I'd like it- but I actually loved it! It was really delicious!  So s'mores are very easy to make. All you need are Graham Crackers, Chocolate and Marshmallows. I have a gas stove where I can kind of roast the marshmallows- but lately I've just been microwaving it because I like how melty and squishy the marhsmallow gets.  So yeah- I start with 2 graham crackers... Honey is probably the better flavor to use here and then instead of regular chocolate- I've been using a Hershey's Cookies and Cream Bar! My mom bought the Red White and Blue kind- so this would be a fun Fourth of July dessert. Ohh and I  put the marshmallow on top and I microwave it for 10 seconds. It's a little warm but not too hot... but the marshmallow is gooey and the chocolate gets milky and it's just so good.  I didn't know if this would be as good with a white chocolate bar... but I really liked how it turned out!  Bye...

June Favorites 2019

I just did a summer favorites not too long ago... but I wanted to do a June Favorites too because I have a lot of favorites! I did a lot in June! So here are my favorites. The 2 books I've read this month are You by Caroline Kepnes and One Day in December by Josie Silver. I'm still reading One Day in December now- which I do like... but I'll probably talk about that more next month... but YOU was amazing! It was a quick read but a really fun read... I have a full review of that right  here . I think if you like horror and mystery books you'll like it... and following it up with a book like One Day In December is great. My boyfriend is trying to read 100 books this year... I'm going to try to read 100 books by Fourth of July Next Year... so far I've read 3... but still! My other favorite thing... possibly the favorite thing of June is Frutta Bowls. I LOVE the Frutta Bowls by me... I pretty much always get the same thing... the regular Frutta Bowl... but it is...

It List: January 2019

I think one of my  goals for this year is to actually improve this blog and actually take some more time writing my posts... that's partially why I haven't been writing "daily" as much either because I really haven't been feeling great and I've just been super tired to write... but this isn't an excuse intro! I'll try to get back on track soon! I just wanted to kind of say I might bring back some of my old favorite posts and the It List is definitely one I'm bringing back! This is all of the stuff I can't get enough of this month and I can't wait to share them with you guys! 1) Sabrina The Teenage Witch- I was really excited when Netflix announced The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina- and I LOVED that show- but it did have me longing for my childhood favorite- the much more lighthearted Melissa Joan Hart Sabrina. One day I was just looking at DVDs at Target- and I saw that they had the complete series on DVD... and I was like "SOLD!...

A Day At The Point Pleasant Boardwalk

So- I think I talked about this recently... but on my summer Bucket List I wanted to go to the Point Pleasant Boardwalk... maybe I didn't mention that... I don't remember but I just did this yesterday- July 8th my time... and it was a lot of fun! The Point Pleasant Boardwalk was one of my favorite places to go as a kid. My parents and grandparents used to take me. We were so excited to finally bring my niece... but I was also pretty excited to just go for myself... not going to lie. I love it there! I don't really do the rides anymore- I did go on the Carousel with my niece and my sister and brother in law... but yeah. There aren't tons of rides for adults- which is fine but it's still fun! My big thing when I was a kid were the arcades... and that is what I'm most disappointed in right now. It is IMPOSSIBLE to win at the claw machines. I used to be sooo good at the claws... but then after Hurricane Sandy- they changed it and made it a lot more difficult to ...

Oreo Party!

Okay... so this is something I think I've mentioned... but I'm really excited about it. I always see the flavors of oreos... but I never end up eating all of them... so I thought "Hey I want to have an Oreo party where we get a bunch of different flavors of oreos... and eat them! I told this idea to my friends and they supported my life choices... so they're up for it! We were going to have a party anyway- like I recently mentioned in my Queso dip post from yesterday... but now I said "yes! I'm bringing oreos!" So I think on Saturday I'll post actual reviews of these oreos and maybe even include some thoughts from my friends and rankings and reviews. Today I just wanted to introduce the concept of an Oreo Party and tell you some ideas of what to do at an oreo party. I went with a pretty good variety of oreos. I have some chocolate, some vanilla, some oreo thins and some regular oreos... I also went with double stuffed because... you can't go...

A Weekend In The Life: My Mom's Birthday+ Father's Day Weekend

So I had a particularly fun weekend and I thought that I would share a little bit about it! I'm writing this on June 18th and my family just celebrated My Mom's Birthday and Father's Day... so I'll explain what happened. Friday Night: Mom's Bday Party  This was fun. We went out to a restaurant we frequent at least once a week and we had some of our friends and our family with us. It was a lot of fun. My sister and her husband were there with their baby- and she's just a ton of fun and my best buddy.... so we ate at the restaurant and then we came home for cake and she was just having fun and walking all around. We watched some Sesame Street... it was all really good! I had really good tortellini and then the dessert was my mom's favorite chocolate coconut cake. Saturday: A Day Inside With Guests  Saturday was a little more of a lazy day. We didn't really intend for it to be a lazy day... but we were waiting for my sister to come over for the da...

Some Food That I Ate: Drifthouse (Sea Bright NJ)

Alright so I'm kind of changing my "Scribbles About Food" because I don't really want this to be a review if it's from a local restaurant... I think if I try something from a big chain I'll still give it a review... but idk if I'm the most qualified person to review food... but I do like to review things... so I'm going to review some things other than just movies and TV... lol. Anyway this a restaurant my dad found out about. My dad does the actual research before going out so he looks up the quality of the meat and stuff so that he knows this isn't just something we could make at home. He's good at finding stuff. Lol. So I don't actually know this stuff... but my dad knows what's up and when we went here the first time... we loved it and knew we had to go again. So last time we went towards the end of May for my parent's anniversary. This time we went for my Mom's birthday... I know I'm like third-wheeling my parent'...

Hump Day Update 12/20/17

What I'm Watching  Every Christmas Special!!! I talked about all the christmas episodes last week... Life in Pieces is still on this week and it was funny last week. Prep and Landing Naughty vs. Nice is on next and I like that a lot... so I might watch that. I did watch The Santa Clause... but I already posted my reactions to that... so I'll watch the other Santa Clause Movies and The Grinch soon. I still haven't watched my favorites which are Elf and Christmas Vacation yet... ugh. I saw A Christmas Story Live... didn't see all of it- but I liked what I saw... and yeah! That's pretty great! News  Last week I reported on Mario Batali's sexual harassment allegations... this week we got an apology with a Pizza Dough Cinnamon Roll Recipe... just so Mario could show how sincere and serious he was about it. Tarana Burke, founder of the Me Too Campaign will push the button to drop the ball on New Year's Eve in Times Square. I think this is a really great ho...

Weekly Update: 12/13/17

What I'm Watching  I just did a TV Blog about all the great Christmas TV Shows... but I think my favorite was American Housewife! I'm also excited to watch Prep and Landing and especially Olaf's Frozen Adventure! I haven't seen that yet and I'm a little excited! My Nana's friend called her up when Frozen was on to let her know that Frozen was on... I thought that was cute. Nana loves Disney and Musicals... so I'm guessing she liked it... don't think she saw it all though. Life in Pieces is also on tonight and it's another favorite of mine. I'm trying to watch things that are on the trending page of youtube now... just to kind of see what's up... so I watched Youtubers react to Youtube Rewind, I added some to my watch later playlist too... I watched the Joe Biden clip from the view... I just kind of want to see what gets popular... I've taken a sudden interest in that... I also have been loving Lisbug's channel where she's ...

Hump Day Update: 11/29/17

What I'm Watching  I feel like everything has been repeats lately on TV- but I've been watching a lot of Christmas specials on TV. I watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and The Thanksgiving Day Parade... I watched Rudolph last night and Santa Clause is Coming to Town recently... and the Victoria Secret Fashion Show- which was last night... so yeah that was all good. I also watched some episodes of Mom and some repeats because it is now in syndication... so that's exciting. There was an I Heart Radio Music Festival on on Friday Last Week and that was really great. Just a lot of good holiday music specials lately. News  Matt Lauer was fired from NBC amongst Sexual Harassment allegations. Prince Harry is Engaged to an American Actress named Meghan Markle. The Queen's Corgis approved... so that is a good sign. I'm also popular with Corgi's... just sayin. Food and Drink  I went to a place in Asbury called Loteria. That is really good... I had a Ca...

Weekly Favorites 11.11.17

Sooo I don't have a list the way I did last week... I'm just going to kind of go through my day. I've been loving the Chestnut Praline Latte... today I actually tried the Eggnog Latte... and I love that too. I don't like the Gingerbread anymore... they changed it and now it has kind of a flower taste... my mom and I thought they put the Berry Hibiscus syrup in the latte instead of the Gingerbread... but it just changed and tasted weird now... so I'm not ordering that again. I did have a lot of fun with the buy one get one free that is STILL going on now... it's great. Speaking of Starbucks... the Holiday Sandwich! OMG! It's almost impossible to get- but it is just really really amazing! It has Turkey, Stuffing, Cranberry and I think just a touch of gravy. So yummy. It's not that easy to get. I really liked Young Sheldon this week too... I missed it the week before- but its such a cute show I think I'll keep watching it... even though I don'...

Hump Day Update 11/1/17

What I'm Watching  The Superstore Halloween episode was sooooo funny! I was super excited! All the other Halloween Sitcoms were pretty amazing too. Great News would be my second favorite... I'm excited for what's going on on The Good Place... I think Will and Grace is getting better. All the ABC shows were great... It's just been an exciting Halloween season with some good tv. I actually watched Dancing With The Stars on Halloween... everyone was really great- at least I thought they were. There was a double elimination- but I thought Vanessa did a really good job. Nikki was good too... sorry if you didn't watch it yet! The Phantom of The Opera group dance was amazing, the other group dance was so much fun too. I like Jordan Fisher a lot... I'm rooting for him. Drew Scott is pretty good and I like Frankie Muniz a lot.  I just thought they were all fun to watch and good. I watched Hocus Pocus 2 times- they had an all day marathon on Halloween... so that was...

Favorite Things Of The Week! 10/27/17

So I thought I would try an updated weekly wrap up kind of combining both versions of what I've done from "The Weekly Wrap Up" before... so this is just kind of like the little moments of the week and my favorite things... maybe it's similar to what I was doing... I'm just kind of re-working it. Sunday 10.22.17 So Saturday Night I was up pretty late watching DuckTales... no shame... I'm probably going to do a review of the show pretty soon because I kind of love it. Anyway- yeah that was kind of fun... and I sort of slowly woke up that morning. I had been in the house alone with my dog all weekend and we just kind of chilled that morning... and I love chilling with my dog. He's such a gorgeous dog and he's so funny and cute and fluffy. I love him... so I was happy to just kind of watch him wake up and sleep in... even with that- I still got up and out kind of early. My aunt was in town- so she wanted to go to a local place to pick up a dinner and...

Hump Day Update: 10/25/17

Sorry this is so late! Onto the show! This isn't a show it's a blog! What I'm Watching  American Horror Story amiright??? This show has slowly consumed my life in the past few weeks especially! I love this season... last night's episode was my favorite ever... I think. I just really liked this one for some reason. Winter is my favorite so it makes sense that an episode about her was my favorite. There was a good amount of torture, plot, and backstory... plus huge change of character for Ally... I kind of love her now... and I feel like watching in between the lines... maybe something happened to Ally that makes her more scared of everything... I'm not sure. Just re-watching old seasons... there are similarities between Ally and some other characters like Vivianne and Lana Winters... so maybe she has a reason to be scared. And she was badass when she contacted Kai... she played him! He totally wanted to show that he was more fearless than Ally was- which is why h...

Not ch'yo Nachos: Recipe and Review

So over the weekend I had some chili and I wanted to make nachos... but I had no tortilla chips. I did have Ritz Crackers, so I decided to make something I like to call "Not ch'yo Nachos." My mom made the turkey chili- if you have leftover taco meat or leftover rotisserie chicken... or just leftover meat or veggies... this could work too. You are the boss of your nachos so modify as needed.  This  is roughly the same recipe my mom uses... it's from a friend of ours and over the years my mom has probably modified it and made it less spicy... but if you're looking for a chili recipe this is a darn good one! I heated up the chili first and then I melted a little bit of cheese onto some Ritz crackers. I just sliced some cheese and cut it up smaller and then put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds. This might be an extra step you don't want... but for me it really brought some extra flavor and cheeseyness. I used Colby Jack cheese if that makes a differenc...

Hump Day Update 10/11/17

What I'm Watching  So after I went out and bought just about every season of American Horror Story because it's no longer going to be available on Netflix... wouldn't you know it's all still on Netflix! So I've started watching Coven and Murder House because I can't get to my Coven DVD currently and I don't have Murder House- my sister does... so yeah. I think Coven might be my favorite to watch around Halloween. I'm excited to watch Roanoke again too... I'm trying to get to the 6th episode of each season before doing that... if that makes sense... lol. The Mayor's second episode was good... I don't think it was as amazing as the pilot... but it was good. I really like the characters and I think everyone on the show is brilliant... it just seemed a little flat and familiar last week and it can only be a show about a rapper that is a mayor for so long... soon the joke will get a little flat. Blackish was a really good episode... really w...

Hump Day Update: Favorites, News,TV, Food, and More!

Alright... so I'm kind of reviving the old format of the Weekly Wrap Up... but I wanted to kind of revive it! What I'm Watching!  Netflix: I'm almost done watching American Horror Story Hotel. Netflix is getting rid of this season in October- so if you like it- haven't seen it yet or want to watch it again- NOW IS THE TIME! I'll have a Throwback Thursday on that tomorrow I hope! Youtube: I've been really looking forward to The Tim Tracker's Vlogs lately. He and his wife do a lot of spooky fun halloween things. They stayed at Universal recently and have some videos up of their stay there and their Halloween Horror Nights adventures. I don't live in Florida and don't go to theme parks often at all... but this makes me feel like I'm there and I'm pretty happy about it! Also Justin Scarred is always a favorite. He did a video at Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights- which looks so scary! At Hollywood you can actually see inside the hou...

Weekly Favorites! 9.13.17

So... this is kind of random... but I didn't post anything yet and I don't do favorites in the Weekly Wrap Up anymore... so here we go! I'll probably talk about these again in an It List 1) American Horror Story: Cult- This season of AHS is really scary and very interesting. This weeks episode had a little bit of comic relief... in the first episode I feel like maybe there was some comic relief... but it was still pretty scary and serious. It's a good season so far though- I just really like it! 2) Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte- We know this is a favorite... it will be until the holiday flavors come out... lol. I just love the flavor of it... for fall it is delicious. I might switch it up in a little bit and get something like the Apple Spice or the Salted Caramel Mocha... but Pumpkin Spice is always nice! 3) Starbucks Pumpkin Scones- I did a review on this yesterday... it's just really yummy. Definitely put some butter on it and put it in the microwave... or ...

Scribbles About Food: Starbucks Pumpkin Scones + Pumpkin Madelines

Okay... If you don't want to get addicted to the Starbucks Pumpkin Scones, you might not want to read this post... because it is kind of a game changer. I used to really like the pumpkin scones and I would order them a lot when I was in college. Its just a really nice, pretty filling breakfast... very pumpkiny and really good. I was looking forward to these coming back when the Pumpkin Spice Latte came back. Here's the game changer... the manager at the starbucks I go to recommended to heat the scone up and put butter on it... and that really makes a huge difference in the taste! Scones are often served with some sort of cream or something because they're a little bit dry...so the butter really helps to make it nice and moist and then when you heat it up it gets melty and it is warm and delicious! I really love it! It is a little heavy and sweet for the morning... even for me... it will kind of hold you over for lunch if you ask me. It tastes good without the butter a...

Scribbles About Places: Row NYC Hotel

This is kind of the first part of my big “Lady Gaga Concert Experience” posts that I’m doing… and I’m pretty excited about this one! This is the review of the hotel that we stayed at- Row NYC!   So the hotel wasn’t really located near the concert venue- but it was located right in Times Square… which is around a lot of things to do and subway stops! It wasn’t too far from the train station we took to get there… which is great because it sucks walking really far with a lot of luggage… so that was pretty awesome.   There was also quite a bit to do in the hotel. They had a bar where you could order food… and they had a kitchen that had different vendors… they had a Medeterrain place, a sushi place, a burger place, a donut place all in one food court type lounge area. We didn’t actually eat at the Cafe there… but the choices looked really good and I would kind of like to try it sometime.   We did eat at the bar that was there… the bartenders were very friendly and...
