Okay... So I did need 1 thing from Target again... and I decided to get some other things I wanted too... so let's see what I got! The thing I kind of needed was a 3 way lightbulb... exciting right? So the one I got goes from 50 watts to 100 watts to 150 watts. I have a lamp that only takes 3 way light bulbs and the one I got for it last year burnt out- so I got a 2 pack. This is nice- I used to only have 1 lamp- but sometimes my room gets really dark so I'm happy to have this second one. I'm thinking of getting a second one for my sisters room too cause I go in there to write sometimes... but right now I'm not sure where I'd put it. Next Up... Before all of this my boyfriend pre-ordered Rise of Skywalker from The Disney Store... which was closed of corse by the time Rise of Skywalker was released... so I had been like wanting to watch the movie again and I was like "Ehh I'm just going to order my own copy!" I needed one thing from target... so I ordered 6 things from Target. That's how it probably would have went if I had gone in store too... actually I'd probably end up with way more than 6 so this is pretty amazing but still. Once you find out the one thing I needed you'll probably laugh at me buying all this other stuff because it is the simplest thing... but I got some other good stuff. I needed push pins. I use these to hang stuff on my wall and I used to have a bunch but I've used them all up. I actually ended up getting 2 packs just because they're so cheap and I'm sure I'll use them. Kind of going along with that I got a cork Board. I used to have 4 cork boards on my wall that were smaller and... that didn't work out and now I just have one. I think I'll get rid of that one and maybe use this as more of a changing vision board or something. Idk. I also got some Papermate Ballpoint pens... these were 3.99 and that's what I needed for fr...

Okay... I was going to do a top 10 list of the decade... but I think I'm going to just kind of talk about some of my favorite things of the decade... but I think I'm just going to talk about some things. If you were going to ask me what the BEST THING that the 2010s have given us- it's Hamilton. You guys... Hamilton... What a fantastic musical! I saw it in 2017 I believe... I had listened to the album just about a year before I saw it and it was still 1000% better than I expected. Totally exceeds all hype and definitely worth checking out! Another big favorite that has spanned from 2010 and I'm sure my love for them will continue for years to come... THE MINIONS! They are just so cute and they always make me smile and laugh. I loved the first despicable me so much and whenever I was stressed in college I would watch different minion videos and mini movies. It's just really fun! I just did a summer favorites not too long ago... but I wanted to do a June Favorites too because I have a lot of favorites! I did a lot in June! So here are my favorites. The 2 books I've read this month are You by Caroline Kepnes and One Day in December by Josie Silver. I'm still reading One Day in December now- which I do like... but I'll probably talk about that more next month... but YOU was amazing! It was a quick read but a really fun read... I have a full review of that right  here . I think if you like horror and mystery books you'll like it... and following it up with a book like One Day In December is great. My boyfriend is trying to read 100 books this year... I'm going to try to read 100 books by Fourth of July Next Year... so far I've read 3... but still! Hey guys! So I thought I'd talk about some things I've been loving this summer so far... and some things I'm excited for! MUST EAT/DRINK  So lately I've been really into Orange Juice of all things! I was kind of sick a few weeks ago and I wanted some orange juice- which my dad always likes when he's sick... and since then I've been having like a glass a day. I've also been loving Frutta Bowls lately. They do different Acai and Pitaya Bowls. These types of fruit bowl places have been popular for a few years... it's basically like a chipotle concept but with fruit. You can create your own bowl with all sorts of things inside... or they have a few pre-chosen menu items. I've been getting the one called the Frutta Bowl lately- which has Acai, Honey, Peanut Butter, Nutella, Strawberry, Kiwi, Pineapples and Coconut flakes. It all tastes sooo good together in the bowl. I think one of my  goals for this year is to actually improve this blog and actually take some more time writing my posts... that's partially why I haven't been writing "daily" as much either because I really haven't been feeling great and I've just been super tired to write... but this isn't an excuse intro! Sorry! I didn't get to post yesterday- it was my niece's birthday party and I was just super busy... so I didn't get a chance to blog... I'll try posting another blog tonight to make up for it... but I did go to Barnes and Nobles and I thought you guys would like another little haul from there! First off I looked at the Bargain Books in the front and my boyfriend discovered that they had a signed copy of Judy Blume's "In The Unlikely Event" for 6.98... and I thought "You know what- I'll get it!" For that price- it's definitely worth it! I didn't know that it was also a first edition! The book looked slightly beat up... but still! That is not a bad price. I wanted to read this when it first came out- I think it's based off of a true story that happened in New Jersey. Judy Blume is from NJ, I'm from NJ... so it's probably going to be a fun story to read for that. And the bargain books were 2 for $10... so I looked around...

I've done a few book hauls in the past and honestly... I haven't read those books yet! But still- that doesn't stop me from being interested in new books and ordering a few more from the Barnes and Noble website... buying some at Target and other places. So first is a book I bought back when I went to New York City with my boyfriend... you can read more about that right  here ... but we went to Kinokuniya which is a really big book store with basically any Manga you could ever want to read in it... plus a lot of other really cool things... anyway I found this book called Pure Skin: Discover the Japanese Ritual of Glowing by Victoria Tsai and I knew I wanted to get the book. I want to know more about skincare and I thought this is probably the best way of finding out. Plus as a beauty blogger and a vlogger- I thought this would be useful and fun to review. Another slightly more of a beauty/lifestyle book that I got for myself was Queer Eye: Love Yourself. Love Your Life....

So I was going to do another "Scribbles About Books" on Chapter 10 of Matched... because although I'm reading this slowly... I kind of like it a little bit better now and this was another chapter that I really liked. If you want to read my review of chapter 7- you can check that out right  here . In this post I'm really just going to talk about the very ending of Chapter 10 and kind of go more into details... if you couldn't guess- about the Poem and The Tablets... or I guess most specifically the green "calming" tablet. So both of these kind of say a lot about the society and I think Ally Condie does a good job of leaving these parts kind of vague so that we can make our own assumptions of them I guess. Some little plot spoilers here... but Cassia finds 2 poems that her grandmother must have saved... which were a gift that her grandfather gave her before he died. So I was reading Matched... which I talked about yesterday in my post... and I liked a chapter so much I wanted to review that chapter alone without knowing how the book is going to end... I'll probably do this if a chapter kind of effects me like this one does. I don't want to get too spoiler-y but there were a lot of feelings I had about this chapter... and I think it's pretty beautiful and this chapter changed how I felt about the book as a whole a little bit... So this chapter focuses on the main character, Cassia's grandfather's Eightieth birthday... which in The Society, is the day that they die. The Society chose this end for the people... so they don't have much of a choice in the matter. There are still some diseases in The Society- which Cassia's Grandmother had already passed away from... and it's unusual for someone Cassia's age to have an 80 year old Grandfather. He had been matched later on in his life than most people... The Societ...

I've been buying a lot of books recently... and I have to say... I have not been reading a lot recently... so I really need to get on it and read these things! Here's what I have and why I want to read them! Matched by Ally Condie- This is a Dystopian YA Novel about a society that matches people up at the age of 16. They have a big ceremony and the girls are in one room and the boys are in another and they each get to see who their match would be and learn more about them... I've started reading this and I have to say that I... don't know how I feel about it. It's interesting- I'm really not far in at all in the book... but I'm not drawn in immediately... it's a short book and I should want to read it more... but I just don't. And I got this book not so much for enjoyment but more because I want to write something that might be similar in tone... although it is not a YA or Dystopian...and I think the theme might be different entirely- but I didn...

What I'm Watching  At the moment I'm watching Inside Out... I'm about to watch 9-1-1 though because that's new tonight and they're doing a Valentines Day Episode. I saw a theory that The Good Place and Parks and Rec took place in the same universe... and so I'm watching both shows again and seeing what happens! I liked both of the pilots... but it's kind of funny how much each show changes from the start. And it's cool to re-watch The Good Place knowing what happens. I watched 2 episodes of Black Mirror and that was good... I'll probably be done with the series soon. I watched This Is Us and the Super Bowl obviously... both of those I've covered on this blog. I didn't watch yesterday's episode of This Is Us... and I'm still behind on The X Files. Trying to watch some more youtube... I have a HUGE watch Later playlist... I'm going to watch a bunch! Ahhhh arranging a bookshelf. If you thought you knew how to do it you're probably wrong because I just did it wayyy better! 1) Use it For DVDs  I don't always keep a lot of my books... so many of my book shelves are really DVD shelves. So yeah. 2)  By Genre...  You ever think "Hey I'm in the mood for a horror Movie" and all you're finding is rom coms? Fear no more! Just arrange your dvds according to different genres. I have a section for Romantic Comedies/Chick Flicks, Horror and serious movies... on that shelf I also have my X Files DVDs and Tim Burton Movies because that fit there... One shelf I have cartoons, kids movies and holiday movies... one shelf is comedies, next shelf is TV... and I think that's it. 3) Give Wes Anderson Movies Their Own Shelf-  The only movie that didn't fit in my collection was The Royal Tenenbaums... Couldn't figure out where to put it... so it might get it's own shelf. Maybe I'll get other Wes Anders...

What I'm Watching  American Horror Story! Both Cult and Murder House... I didn't like Cult this week... but I'm excited for the finale. I liked this season a lot... but I'm kind of happy that it's ending because it's just pretty tense... and it's a great season but it's hard to watch. I watched the ABC comedies... I liked Fresh Off The Boat, Blackish and The Mayor... Blackish was especially good... this season has been my favorite so far. I kind of saw the Middle... I like the show but I'm okay with it being the last season. It's not bad... but I don't think any season was "The Best Season Ever" or something... I just think it's a good show that hasn't jumped the shark... it's just kind of run its corse. News Disney was looking into buying 20th Century Fox... but then they didn't... What I'm Watching  The Superstore Halloween episode was sooooo funny! I was super excited! All the other Halloween Sitcoms were pretty amazing too. Great News would be my second favorite... I'm excited for what's going on on The Good Place... I think Will and Grace is getting better. All the ABC shows were great... It's just been an exciting Halloween season with some good tv. I actually watched Dancing With The Stars on Halloween... everyone was really great- at least I thought they were. There was a double elimination- but I thought Vanessa did a really good job. Nikki was good too... sorry if you didn't watch it yet! The Phantom of The Opera group dance was amazing, the other group dance was so much fun too. I like Jordan Fisher a lot... I'm rooting for him. Drew Scott is pretty good and I like Frankie Muniz a lot.  I just thought they were all fun to watch and good. I watched Hocus Pocus 2 times- they had an all day marathon on Halloween... so that was...

Idk if I have a real review of this show... there was a lot I liked and a lot I didn't like. I thought it was a little predictable... but I thought it did a good job of shifting between present and past... and although I haven't read the book- I think they did a good job creating more for the book than the series. This is very spoiler heavy and the subject material of this show is very heavy... so reader discretion advices 1) Alex's story is a mirror of Hannah's- There are fan theories that Tyler killed Alex... but what I think is the more powerful storyline is that Alex's story was the audiences version of Hanna's story. All the signs that he was going to kill himself were there... he was the one that pulled away from the group that he, Jessica and Hannah had formed. He quits band and stops caring about things because of what happened with Hannah and the tapes. He also jumps into the pool at Bryce's house in a dramatic way... all the signs were that he ...

So I've bought kind of a lot of books lately... so let's just do a book haul! I'll start with the ones for my niece. My niece isn't born yet... but my sister is having a Winnie The Pooh Themed Shower... so I went to Barnes and Noble to get a really nice copy of The Complete Tales of Winnie The Pooh. It has a beautiful illustration on it... it just looks like something really nice to gift to a new mom... Very pretty. The pages are gold leaf... you can't see the inside, but its pretty. And while I was there I also saw a nice, big copy of The First Five Novels of The Wizard of Oz... and I thought that would be nice too. It was bargain priced... and it just seemed like a nice thing to give to my sister. It has illustrations in it... not colorful illustrations... but I know my sister likes The Wizard of Oz and she might like this too. Also at Barnes and Noble I saw a book table that said "Disney Villains" and they had a bunch of books about the Disney Vil...

1) Harry Potter and the Cursed Child- I finished this book in a day. Its pretty easy to read because its written in screenplay format... but its really great and its a fun read. Its just really fun to get back into that Harry Potter World again. I think I'm going to finish and reread the series lol. I haven't read the 5th or 6th books... but I'm happy to be back in that world. I just think its really fun! 2) The Dis Unplugged- I've mentioned that I liked this podcast a few times before... but I've really started listening to it a lot and its just fun to listen to. I like it. It makes me feel like I'm at the theme parks, but I'm just at home watching and I like that. Its fun to watch or listen to. They're all really funny and get along well. Its like a talk show with good people, but just about Disney and other Orlando Theme Parks... and surprisingly, there's always a lot of news on that. I'm going to write a story with Rory's Story Cubes because why not? And I'm doing it word of the day style... and the word of the day is Cosmopolis on dictionary.com so... it will be based around a city I suppose! Alright! So I rolled them first and just so you know... the order is Turtle, Book, L or Scrabble Tile, Parachute, Clock, Foutain, Castle, Arrow Pointing Northwest, and an airplane. (Also used Fish, Beetle,Abacus, magnets It's tough being a viral video celebrity. Sure, David wasn't as famous as many others like the zombie kid that said "I like Turtles" on halloween or the "Charlie bit my finger" kid or even David after dentist... but he was still fairly famous in his own right. A news reporter was talking to him about his parents having quintuplets on the local news... live and he made fart noises, wet his pants and started crying. David loved the celebrity at the time... but he resented it now that he was a grown man and people ar...

1) Couch to 5K-  So I've already done an app review about this, but I love this app! It's so useful for getting into shape... It's fun and I like it a lot! 2) Pokemon Go- This is such a fun game! I loved the Pokemon TV show and I collected the cars and toys as a kid...but I was never into the games, but this is easier to use and it's just fun. I just downloaded it for a review... But then I caught a Pokemon and I was like "ohh that felt good" and I wanted to play more. I like it a lot but this is really nice! I like it a lot!  3) Me Before You- I forget if this was in last months It List...but I'm almost done with it now and it's gotten so good!
