Alright, so in re-watching The X Files I've been trying to not view Mulder and Scully as a couple because I really wanted them to get together when I first watched it, but then in the 2nd movie I felt like there was kind of an issue with them being a couple. Idk I feel like they're still to vague about it. And here is my theory and it might be kind of a bummer... but basically I think they kind of have to be together because they can't actually be with anyone else. I don't think there is anyone else they will trust more than each other and I think there is no one else they will love more than each other and they can't be apart... so they need to be together.
