New Girl Season 2 Review *Spoilers*

Okay... New Girl Season 2 is probably the funniest... I'm going to try to post these weekly- as long as I'm caught up with the season. I just watched the Thanksgiving episode of Season 4 so... that's where I'm at now. ANYWAY Season 2 had SOOOO many great episodes and moments. We have Nick and Jess's first kiss and their first hookup... plus they finally get together in the finale. A whole lot happens this season and they kind of do it in the funniest ways possible. That's kind of the beauty of this season... they didn't just get Nick and Jess together... they got them together in the weirdest and funniest way they could. It all happened when the guys went out and left Jess at home because Nick couldn't get a girl if Jess was with him because- even though Jess was with Sam at the time... she was pretty dependent on Nick for everything. And when Nick comes over with a girl that he and Schmidt are both trying to get... Jess tries to get Nick with her....

New Girl Season 1 Review

The show and the season that brought us the Douchebag Jar, True American and everything that is adorkable- let's talk about Season 1 of New Girl! So this show came out when I was in college and I remember kind of half watching a lot of episodes- especially in the later seasons... and I had kind of stopped watching all together after I finished college because I had forgotten what night it was on and it was on a channel I didn't really watch that much anymore... so I just forgot about it until it was ending. I had tried re-watching it on Netflix before- but I had seen the first episode so many times it was kind of hard to stick with it and keep on watching. This time I actually did finish at least a whole season and I'm still watching season 2 so... I think I'll actually finish the series this time! It's been fun and I've been enjoying it. I think my favorite episode of the season is Jess and Julia- which is where Jess tries to get along with Nick's Girlf...

The Best Small Details About Good Girls Pilot Episode.

Okay... so I'm a little obsessed with NBC's show Good Girls. I was going to do a full review on it... but I thought maybe I could skip that and just tell you guys my favorite little details that I noticed in the Pilot that really made the show quite special... in my opinion. Little jokes, metaphors, similar shots... there was a lot in the first episode and I really loved all those details... so lets just get into it! 1) The Fine n Frugal- Mae Whitman's character Annie works at a store called the Fine n Frugal, which the three ladies later end up robbing. I just think the name is funny... and its fitting. Is this the best job Annie could have? No- but it's fine. Is this the best grocery store ever? Nope- but it's fine because it's there. Is everything fine internally in the store... no. But people will still shop there because it's fine and frugal. 2) The Pigs Fly Ad- Now onto Matthew Lillard's character, Dean Boland. Dean runs a car dealership and he...

Throwback Thursday: Crazy Ex Girlfriend Season 1

One of my favorite shows is the very underrated Crazy Ex Girlfriend... and when I say underrated I mean the ratings are bad... I'm pretty sure there is a lot of critical hype that is very real and worthy of that sort of hype... I honestly didn't watch it live at all this year until the finale... it was all in my DVR... I had lost a little bit of interest to be honest after the first episode... but I bingewatched it all in one day pretty much and it was great... but that's season 2... let's go back to Season 1. If you're only familiar with Season 2... Season 1 isn't quite as dark. It's definitely more silly than Season 2. It isn't like the darkness and the drama isn't there, it just isn't quite as dark. I have a feeling the show is getting progressively darker, and the Season 2 finale was definitely the darkest so far. The show is meant to be a different spin on a Rom-Com. The girl moves across the country for a guy that has a girlfriend alrea...

Scribbles About TV: This is Us: Midseason Premiere Review *Spoilers*

I really liked this episode of This Is Us and I'm even more excited for the next episode. I thought it was an exciting premiere, I'm going to sort of talk about my favorite stories to my least favorite ones... but in general I thought that they were all really really good. I love this show... so it was great. Jack and Rebecca Storyline  This was one of my favorites of the Jack and Rebecca stories. I really liked seeing what happened to Rebecca when she found out that she was having triplets... its a scary and hard thing to imagine and they showed all of their struggles in a really real way. And there was a lot of background on the two characters in this episode. I didn't know about Jack's relationship with his abusive father... and in the Thanksgiving episode we got a little bit of information about Rebecca's mother not being the best grandma ever... but wow! Was she wicked in this episode! You can even see some explanation of the way that Rebecca is with Kate. ...
