13 Days of AHS Day 3: Is James Patrick March Really Evil???

Hotel is one of my least favorite seasons of American Horror Story- but for some reason it's one of the only seasons I've seen all the way through 2 times... as of this point that is only Murder House, Hotel and I'm just finishing up the last episode of Coven for the first time since it aired also! Anyway... James Patrick March is an interesting Character as far as AHS Lore goes because while he seems very evil while he is alive... as a ghost he seems a little more lighthearted. I believe he only kills people in the afterlife if he believes it will benefit the hotel and its residents... and while he has done terrible things... there's almost a sympathy you have for him... especially in his Apocalypse scenes... James March killed Queenie- which was honestly one of the hardest deaths in any of the American Horror Story seasons. One of my main problems with Hotel was that Coven was great because Queenie was someone we cared about and she made it out alive with a happy ...

Throwback Thursday: American Horror Story Hotel

A few years ago I attempted to do something I titled "The Great American Horror Story Rewatch" where I rewatched each season and the current season- which was actually Hotel at the time and talk about the similarities and differences between seasons. That did not work out... so I think over the next few weeks- or months- I'll do a Throwback Thursday of each American Horror Story Season. It will celebrate the new series Cult and Halloween... I'll be alternating between American Horror Story Throwback Thursdays and Taylor Swift because I know I won't be able to watch a full season each week... I'm a little concerned about finishing them all within this time. Maybe if I don't go on too much- I will leave a little recap of Cult somewhere at the end here too... somehow I think I'll do that separately since some weeks cult is on I won't have a Throwback Thursday for AHS... so yeah. I think I'll do some sort of post on that every week... but it migh...

Scribbles About TV: American Horror Story Hotel Finale Review + Thoughts for next season

So... I wasn't a huge fan of this season...  mostly because of the penultimate episode... it just wasn't my favorite... I didn't like that they killed Queenie... I thought that was a cop out... But I do have to say, I was happy with the way it turned out. I don't think any of the characters were necessarily "good." Usually the heroes get a happy ending, the villains get a bad endings... there were no real heroes or villains in this... they were all just sort of bad guys... but even John March, the Ten Commandments Killer got kind of a happy ending. Very similar to the way Dylan McDermott did in season 1... the finale was very reminiscent of Season 1 and the Scream Queens finale to me... but it wasn't bad. Thats what I think American Horror Story is good at. They have such serious plots and stories and then they get to have a little bit of fun in the finale and I like that. I think the happiest ending was Donnovan and Iris. She got to hear that Donnovan...

The Great AHS Re-watch: Every Season Episode 5 and 6

So... I did not post last week because the My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 Trailer was more important... so now I'm doing these every other week I think and just combining two episodes. Hotel  Episode 5: Room Service  Ohhh my gosh. This might be the most uncomfortable episode of anything I've ever seen. After the part where the kid was dressed as the pirate and killed his parents and then went to school... I didn't like that. Alex, that's her name right? Chloe Sevigny's character... that was so dumb that she did that... that was dumb. But she's all about saving children and it seems she doesn't really care about adults.  The only episode I think that might have been harder for me to watch was the Christmas episode of Asylum... which I'm dreading watching in this re-watch. That's the only episode I'm really not looking forward too. Lol. The rest of the episode was kind of funny actually. We learned about Liz Taylor, who doesn't really...

Weekly Wrap Up! 10/11/15

So this is an exciting Weekly Wrap up because it is my last full week as a 23 year old! I turn 24 on Friday and I am excited! So lets go! Favorites  American Horror Story: Hotel- So I did a review on this and I'm not totally sure how I feel about it just because I have no idea what's going on still... but its still sort of a favorite of the week because it just is. I'll always watch American Horror Story... I don't really care if its good or bad or scary or funny... its just a fun show to watch and even though a lot of shows have similar formats and stuff... there's nothing else on tv quite like it. So that I'll always like. Cheetos Bag o' Bones- Best cheesy Halloween treat ever! I like the consistency of it with the White Cheddar. It just tastes so good and delicious and its fun to play with cause you can connect the bones together and make your own skeleton. Yes... I'm a child. I just like it a lot! Grant Ward from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D- I gotta...

Scribbles About TV- American Horror Story: Hotel

First Impression:  Of corse I was looking forward to the Premier of the new season of AHS... especially since Lady Gaga is on this year and I love her... and it just sounded like a good  season in general... so I'm excited. It's been on for like a half hour so far... no signs of Gaga... not too many characters yet... and tons of questions with little plot so far. There's an hour left so we still have a lot of time... but so far I like it... but it doesn't make much sense.  Okay we're about an hour in now... Gaga showed up and she's kind of a vampire... still nothing makes sense... but its scary... but there's like no plot or dialogue. There's a definite noticeable difference because of the lack of Jessica Lange. I know there are rumors she may return... but she's missing and there's like a hole in the show where she... and a plot used to be. Ummm... yeah. There's just not as great chemistry between Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates. Jess...
