The Daily Something

So- I thought a monthly wrap up type of post might be fun... I didn't do everything I thought I'd do this month... I don't think I accomplished everything I wanted to... but still! I think I did a lot of fun stuff... and it's going to be good. So first off- I wanted to post daily in January... didn't do that. I missed the 12th, 14th, 15th, 21st,22nd,25th, and 26th... so I feel like I owe you guys a week of double posts... but I did have some excuses. 1) I have been super tired after work. I was opening a lot this month- which I do really like... but it makes me tired at the end of the night most of the time... and I don't really get to do anything else. Also- I get 2 days off a week... and usually when I get days off I spend them away from the computer. So... there's that too. I don't think I actually saw any movies in theaters in January... there was nothing really that good out. The last thing I saw was Mary Poppins Returns and that was on New Year...

I went to Best Buy recently with my boyfriend of corse... I feel like I talk about him in every single post... but I spend a lot of time with him. We found some good Blu Rays at pretty good prices... so I picked up quite a few movies... and I even watched a couple of them! First and foremost we found one of my favorite movies that used to be on TV quite a lot but I haven't seen it on recently... What We Do In The Shadows! This was on Blu Ray for 7.99 or 8.99 or something. I was super excited to find that- my boyfriend's never seen the movie so he's excited to watch it too... I think he'll like it. The movie is about a group of vampires that are roommates... it's a fake documentary type of style. Really funny movie- excited to finally own this! Next up we saw Sorry To Bother You... which was out in the summer and we both wanted to see... We didn't totally know what it was about or anything- but it was only 9.99 and we thought it'd be good for that price. ...

So this is just a random sampling of movies on demand and on tv and Netflix and things like that. Not Cool- This is Shane Dawson's movie. I'm a fan of his videos on youtube and of corse I wanted to see this movie. This movie was also a part of a reality competition show called The Chair where two first time directors get to direct a movie based on the same material and one will win. Spoilers: This one won. It wasn't like an amazing movie, but it was better than I thought it would be. It was very over the top, a lot like his Youtube Videos... I laughed out loud at least a couple of times. It was enjoyable. Chelsea Peretti: One Of The Greats- This was so funny. I love Chelsea Peretti on Brooklyn 99 and she was a writer on Parks and Rec, which i love. So yeah. I really love her and I thought this special was really funny. Chelsea and I hate all the same things, I tweeted her that and she favorited it, so we're BFFS now... and yeah. She is one of the greats! In A Worl...
