On My Reading List: Books/Magazines I'm going to try to finish very soon.

So I was sort of redoing my room and re-organizing my desk... and I just had a big pile of stuff that I wanted to keep out so that I could read it soon. I love reading and its been a while... so here's my current reading list. Alright not really in with this stuff... but something I need to finish is Yes, Please by Amy Poehler. I started this... probably well over a year ago. Lol. It kind of breaks my heart to finish it because I feel like Amy's my friend and I've learned a lot about her and about life and about myself from this book and I don't want it to end... so I still have a few chapters left. I don't think this will be the next thing I'm going to finish... but I'll finish it in the near future because why not. I'm going to start out with books. The first book I have on here is Amazing Amy Tattle Tail. This is based on Gone Girl's Amy... and I've read it before... but I want to watch the movie gone girl again soon and re-read this and r...

The Shannon "It" List

Sooo I know entertainment weekly does this type of thing where they talk about 10 things in entertainment that everyone loves. I'm going to do pretty much the same exact thing, but with things more relevant to my life... which is basically TV and food... so yeah. This is like the weird brother of Entertainment Weekly's It List. Like Entertainment Weekly is Prime Rib and I'm, I don't know weird brother of Prime Rib (NAME THAT QUOTE! No, probably not, but you get the point. I'm not even a huge fan of Andy Samberg's acting abilities... but this is just amazing. It's really the second funniest show...

Review Time 2: Nightvale (podcast)

Okay so I'm going to start this off by saying this: I have no idea how to describe this podcast at all. It's a very different sort of podcast and there isn't a lot like it out there... but it's the type of podcast I think I needed in my life and I am amazed by how amazing it is. So Welcome to Nightvale is basically a fake radio show that takes place in a fictional town called Nigtvale. If you couldn't tell by the fact that it's called Nightvale, its a really strange town that has angels, secret police, glow clouds, hovering cats that hide in men's bathrooms, and 5 headed dragons. At first I was kind of like this is funny... but pretty weird. Idk if I'm going to listen to another episode. I listened to another episode. It was super funny and I was like "Okay, I can dig this." And it kind of got me obsessed just a tiny bit. Why I like this so much and why I actually find it inspirational is that I like to write things of a similar nature. I...
