Valentine's Day It List: Favorite Things for the holiday!!!

Alright so I thought I'd talk about a few of my favorite Valentine's Dat types of things! So... here we go!

1) Russel Stover Strawberry Hearts-

These are pretty much available for every holiday in some way or another... but the Valentine's Day ones are my favorite! These just taste really good and they're really great. My parents always get me this... I like them a lot!

2) Reading a Rom Com Book-

I like reading a cute book for the Valentine's Day... it just seems really fun and cozy. Last year this time I read a book called The Plus One by Sarah Archer- and that was a really good book and Sarah Archer- really nice lady! She followed me back on Instagram and we like each other's dog pictures! I think it's being turned into a series too and I'm EXCITED about that.

Honestly they usually have a bunch of cute romance books out at Book Stored for Valentine's Day... judge it by the cover and read the back and see if it's interesting. That's how I chose The Plus One!

3) The Bachelor-

I love The Bachelor! Honestly I like Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelorette more and this season has been kind of stressful... But I like Matt James and there are some good contestants! Katie- awesome person. Serena P- seems super nice. Michelle... What a cute one on one date. Bri- also seems to have a good connection with Matt. Jessenia also seems super nice! Abigail- first deaf contestant on the bachelor! Awesome. A lot of the mean contestants are gone now and will probably be gone for sure next rose ceremony so... yeah!

4) Conversation Hearts-

I feel like people don't like these... I think they taste good... and I like reading the messages on them. I guess theres a bit of a chalkiness to them... but I still like them!

5) Discounted Candy-

Last year I had to close on Valentine's Day... and I was kind of excited because I got to buy my boyfriend discounted candy the next day! Lol not really- there was actually no candy left. But still... wait till February 15th if the store looks well stocked... get it then half priced. Thank me later.

6) Burgers-

My boyfriend and I have celebrated 2 Valentine's days together. Like I mentioned- last year was not on Valentine's Day... but both years we've had burgers for dinner... so now I associate Valentine's Day with Burgers and... I kind of hope my boyfriend wants to get Valentine's Day Burgers again this year since I feel like it's a thing now.

7) Isn't It Romantic-

So this movie came out a couple years ago and... I saw it on the 13th for Galentine's Day with my best friend Cristina and then again with my Boyfriend on Valentine's Day the next day... what a fun movie. This stars Rebel Wilson and she's trapped in a Rom Com... I have a funny story of my first Valentine's Day with my boyfriend that I'll share tomorrow... but this is a great fun movie.

Any rom com also works... but this one sticks out in my mind because I saw it on my first Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. Then last year we watched Sonic the Hedgehog. Idk if anything is out this year... We'll probably watch Wandavision.

8) Romance by Camilla Cabello-

This album makes me want to cry. It's such a sweet and honest album about love and it's just so beautiful and like... it makes me happy that I have a love like the love she talks about in these songs and it makes me happy for her and everyone else that has this kind of love... and I really do wish that all good people have this type of love story.

9) Galentine's Day-

I love Galentine's Day!!!!! Just a fun night out with your girlfriends or your sister or your mom or someone.  Just something kinda fun! Always a fan!

Alright... I think that's everything! I hope you guys like it! I know it's a bit of a random list... but yeah! This is what I thought of and I'm happy!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
