Valentines Day Gift Guide!

So I did one of these for my other blog and I thought... meh I can do it here too. I'm not a big believer in Valentines Day Gifts... I'm pretty simple and would be fine with dinner and a movie... but not everyone is... so here are a few ideas. If you want to see more beauty related ideas you can check out that blog right  here ... but here we go! Valentines Day Survival Kit  One thing I'm going to recommend that I mentioned in the other post too... but if you have a significant other and your friend is going to be spending Valentines Day alone... maybe for Galentine's Day, February 13th... you could get her a few cute little gifts to cheer her up. I suggested some chick flicks, maybe some magazines or books. Tea or wine maybe... Cookies and candy and some nail polish and face masks would all be good. You could even get a best friends necklace or something. When I came up with this idea I thought "Ohh this might be mean" but I'm single and I thought of i...

Things I've Learned About Myself

These are kind of random... Some might be deeper than others, but here are some things I have recently learned about myself. 1) I have a lot of recurring themes in my dreams. I've had a lot of dreams about Harry Potter, going to Prom/some big high school event, losing my shoes, driving and a lot of dreams wondering around a mall I don't know that looks vaguely familiar. I feel like I can kind of analyze some of them, but I'm not really an expert or anything. For example my dreams about driving used to always happen when I was a teenager about to get my license. I still don't have my license, but I don't get these dreams as often as I used to. It pretty much always goes that my mom is somewhere (usually my grandparents house I think) and for some reason I need to drive myself home. There are usually toys in the back seat, but like older toys that I don't have anymore and I go like "oh that's where they are." I feel like this is just a dream about ...

Rejected Candy Hearts!

This was a TT on twitter... and I thought why not just do a list of my own here? 1) When I'm drunk, you're a solid 7. 2) I watch you while you sleep. 3) Let's see other people. 4) Threesome tonight? 5) Friend Zoned! 6) I'm wanna give you my crabs! 7) I'm You'res. 8) Let's play Flappy Bird... ohhh wait. 9) I charge by the hour. 10) Just a picture of Nick Cage's face.

Feeling Lovely Friday: Valentine's Day Essentials

So I am no Valentines day expert... As a matter of fact I don't really like the damn day all that much. It's not that I'm completely unromantic... I just don't see why people just celebrate their love on every February 14th. Why not February 15th or whenever it moves you? But for whatever reason, I do like doing girly things and getting dressed up and stuff so why not have essentials.  It doesn't have to be for a date, it could be for girls night out. And guys there's some advice for you too. These are just little tips and tricks I think are useful. 1) I mentioned this yesterday, but in case a Deodorant review wasn't exciting enough for you to use, I'll say it again. I received the Dove advanced care deodorant from Influenster for testing purpose. On the box it mentioned that it was supposed to moisturize your underarms after shaving... So I thought why not try it on my legs after shaving? It made my legs so smooth and beautiful. Usually my legs get su...

Happy Thanksgiving

So I was going to do a whole post on everything I'm Thankful for, but I thought it was too cheesy to say what I am thankful for, and it always kind of makes me sad because its like yes, I do have a lot to be thankful for, but at the same time, a lot of things suck and I don't want to become one of those people that make everything seem perfect just because it's Thanksgiving. It's a kind of Charlie Brownish approach to the holidays also. Plus I can't help but thinking that The Addams Family Values Thanksgiving scene is not that far off. I mean sure the Pilgrims and Indians sat down and had a meal together, but the pilgrims did also take their land and treat them like they were savages... so it's a bit of an effed up thing to celebrate. Like Columbus Day. Okay so seriously without me being a complete Thanksgiving Scrooge, I like the holiday. It's like Christmas but with more family and less presents, so its a more humble and less commercial experience. It ...
