So I went to Shake Shack for the first time the other day... and I thought I'd do a little Scribbles About Food reviewing it. I had a Shack Burger- which is just a single burger, fries and the peanut butter shake. The Burger  The burger was really good... I don't think it was the best burger that I've ever had though. A lot of people say this is the best burger ever... I have to say I really really like Black Tap's burgers and I think those are just a little better... but the Shake Shack Burger was still really flavorful and I liked it a lot. I had lunch and coffee... probably not even 30 minutes before eating this burger... and I still ate more than half of the burger... so that tells you how yummy this burger is. The Fries  The fries were just regular Crinkle Cut French Fries... maybe it's not the most creative French Fry ever but sometimes the classics are just the best and these were definitely very delicious. Peanut Butter Shake  Again... not the most ...

I went to Blacktap back in April for my sister's Bachelorette Party and I thought now would be a good time to give a review of it!  Black Tap is mostly known for  their EPICALLY huge milkshakes filled with candy and lots of things inside... and the line to get in the restaurant... which I'll mention too... but they have good food besides just the milkshakes and they had a pretty good selection of things on the menu also.  I had the Texan Burger which is described as "Aged Cheddar, Crispy Onions, Bacon, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ and Mayo." I forget if I had it with Mayo or if I asked for no mayo... Yeah it had mayo on it... but it was probably the most delicious burger I've ever had. It was cooked really well, the flavors all went together really well... it just tasted amazing all together.  It was a really big burger patty and it had a lot of cheese on it. The bacon was good... there was only one crispy onion... but it was a really good onion ring. ...

Okay... so if you know me... you know I don't love Applebee's. Usually when I'm there there is some sort of bad experience. One time half of my burger was completely raw, one time my dessert tasted like garlic, I always seem to have bad servers and its never a great experience. This time was kind of no exception to that... the waiter didn't write down my order of corse and since everyone else was ordering the new Brunch Burger, he put mine down as a Brunch Burger and it wasn't... so I had to wait and I was starving... but its okay because this burger... This burger was delicious. It sounds kind of disgusting, its basically a burger with barbecued brisket and jalapeño peppers on it... which were good but it was a bit much and I took some off... but ohhh man. It was damn good. The brisket was so barbecuey and it just tasted so good on the burger and it was so unique and different that it was just a really tasty burger! I don't go to Applebee's too often....
