10) Forever My Girl (1st week on the chart. 4.7 million dollars )   I saw a commercial for this trailer this week... I said "wow this movie looks terrible... but everyone in it is attractive so I guess that's the point. I don't like Nicholas Sparks books or movies all that much. They can be a little misogynestic and unrealistic to me... everyone else seems to love them... but I just don't like it. That being said though... this is soooo low on the charts it's surprising to me. I don't think Nicholas Sparks movies have ever been an outright flop before... but this just isn't good. I don't think the movie had a strong plot... and like I said from the previews- it didn't seem to look good at all... but again- there were attractive people in it. They'll be famous in a few years. 9) Insidious: The Last Key ( 3rd week on the charts. 5.9 million this week, 58.7 total gross)  I'm surprised that this isn't doing that well in it's second...

Chart Chat 12/24/17

10) Lady Bird- Still want to see this movie. It just looks funny and a fun movie! I'm happy it's still on the charts- I think there will be some Oscar nominations for this... I think it looks like a great movie and it has a lot of great critical reviews... so I'm happy for this one! 9) Murder on The Orient Express- This one looks really good too! Great cast... really want to see it- hopefully I will get a chance too... it just looks so great! 8) The Disaster Artist- This looks great too! And I want to see it! I haven't seen all of The Room... It is a pretty fantastic terrible movie- it's just kind of hard to sit and watch. It starts out with like 30 very awkward sex scenes. I feel like I want to see it in theaters- I know it kind of has a Rocky Horror quality to it now. I think it's available on Youtube also... but they say you should watch The Room before seeing this movie. I think James Franco is a great actor and to see him playing a bad actor sounds like...

Chart Chat! 12/12/17

Heyyy guys! Here are the charts for this week! 10) Just Getting Started- This is with Morgan Freeman I think? Is Michael Kane in it too? Not sure... but anyway this looked like a movie that's been done before... not sure people are still interested in it... ohhh no... okay Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones. It's about an undercover investigation at a Golf Course. Tommy Lee Jones is a former FBI Agent- Freeman is a former lawyer to the mob that's in the Witness Protection... so this exact scenario hasn't really been done before but it doesn't sound like the best movie ever either just from the IMDB synopsis... so I can see why people would rather see something else. Idk how many theaters this is in right now... but not great for its first week on the chart. It made 3.2 million dollars... 9) Lady Bird- This looks like a great movie that I think I can relate too... not always easy to find in movies but the trailer for this speaks to me. Lol. 8) The Star- This is...

Chart Chat 7.24.17

Alrighty! I'm a little surprised by this week's top movie... not even going to lie... I didn't know who the director was though... so that might have something to do with it also... I thought something else that opened would be number 1... and it's number 3... so that says something! Let's just get right to it! 10) Wish Upon- 2nd week on the charts... and the last week I'm guessing. This was lower than I thought it would be last week...but higher than the bottom of the charts. I feel like the name is confusing... and somewhat gramatically incorrect. You shouldn't end the title of a movie with a preposition, right? It's just weird. Also if you told me "Ohhh do you want to see 'Wish Upon' this weekend" I would think you meant a movie about Cinderella... not a horror movie... so I can see why this is doing so badly. Lol. 9) Wonder Woman- Ohhh wow! Number 9 for Wonder Woman... that has been in the top 5 for most of the summer... I'm...

Chart Chat 6.26.17

Alrighty! Let's see what's number 10... and then what's number 1. With the other numbers in the middle! 10) Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2- Ughhhh I wanted to see this movie! I thought I'd see it this weekend... life happened so I didn't see it but I hope it's on DVD soon because I don't think I'll see it before it goes out. If I see any movie it'll be Despicable Me 3... and idk if I'll see that... so yeah. 9) Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie- This looks funny. This was another one that I was kind of surprised by... similar to the new Smurfs movie... I thought this would be a little bit more popular than it was. I can see why it wasn't... but it looks like a fun story of Friendship and it just looks fun! 8) Rough Night- Idk about this one... hasn't been doing to well on the charts either... so I'm guessing a lot of people were like "nahhh... I'd rather see The Mummy." Which is a little shocking to me... b...

Chart Chat 4.17.17

Heyyy guys! Sorry for not posting the last couple of days... busy days! Hope everyone is having a good week! If you guys want to compare this too last week's top 10 you can click  here  to check out what I thought of last week's chart. I'm a little happy Logan and Ghost in The Shell are off the charts... I'm not so happy that The Fate of the Furious was released... lol. 10) Kong Skull Island- I'm hoping this is nearing the end of the charts because I'm a little sick of talking about it... lol. I think I've said all I need to say about this movie... I don't want to see it! Thank Goodness Ghost in The Shell is off the charts! Lol. 9) The Case for Christ- I think I predicted last week that this would jump up the chart in it's second week... and believe it or not- It did! It was 10th on the charts last week and this week it's number 9. Not really my cup of tea for a movie... but Faye Dunaway is in it... that's something. She was the only name...

Chart Chat 4.10.17

My favorite time of week... well not really but I do love writing these! Chart Chats! I'll regret saying that when we get to Kong Skull Island and I have to say something relatable about it... lol. 10) The Case for Christ- This is it's first week on the charts... it gained 3.9 million dollars this week. Haven't heard of it before... but this is the description from IMDB- "An investigative journalist and a self-proclaimed atheist sets out to disprove the existence of God after his wife becomes Christian. One of the writers for this is Brad Bird- not the Pixar Brad Bird... but he wrote for Touched by An Angel... so it's one of those religious movies that they release around Easter so that church groups can go... It probably isn't released in every theater... but I'm sure it'll be a little bit higher on the charts next week. 9) Get Out- This has been on the charts for 7 weeks... and honestly, I have not gotten tired of talking about it yet! I just want...

Chart Chat 4.3.17

I'm a little shocked by this chart chat... but it's an exciting week! I'm somewhat surprised at the number 1 movie... although I mentioned it before, thinking that it would definitely be the #1 kids movie of the week... anyway- let's get started! 10) The Zookeeper's Wife- This movie looks amazing! What an incredible true story as well! A Zookeeper hid family's from the Nazi's in his Zoo! That's amazing. It looks like it's quite beautiful as well... I guess this had a very limited release this week and that' why it's so low on the list... I'm still a little surprised that CHIPS beat it out... but I think in upcoming weeks this will probably get to #1 on the charts... or at least pretty darn close. As much as I want to see this movie... I really really want to read the book. I don't know if I'll read the book first or not... but I'll make sure to read it at some point because that's an incredible story! 9) CHIPS- Love Kr...

Chart Chat 3.3-3.5.17 and 3.10-3.12.17

So this is going to be a little different. I didn't do a chart chat last week... so I'll show that box office quickly and then we'll go to the current box office! I'll just show 1-10 and maybe I'll make some comments. Last Week's Box Office (3.3-3.5)  1) Logan- New Wolverine movie... first week on the charts 2) Get Out- last week's #1 movie. 3) The Shack- 1st week on the chart 4) The Lego Batman movie- 4th week at #4! 5) John Wick Chapter 2- 4th week. 6) Before I fall- this movie has Elena Kamporis- my Greek cousin from MBFGW2. Idk if she's really my cousin...but she's probably my cousin. 7) Hidden Figures- This movie has been out for 11 weeks! Clearly people wanted to know this story! 8) The Great Wall- 3rd week on the charts. 9) Fifty Shades Darker- 4th week 10) La La Land- 13th week since its release date! Current Top 10  10) Fifty Shades Darker- So this got bad reviews... it's been on the charts since it was released back aroun...

Chart Chat 2.17.17

10) Sing- Still in the top 10! Still can't wait to see this movie eventually... probably on DVD... but still! This soundtrack is amazing and I just really like Illumination movies. I guess I've only ever seen Despicable Me, Minions and Hop... but I think they've got some great, original cartoon ideas and I think they are just as good as Disney... maybe not as good as Pixar... but more fun to watch I think. 9) Lion-  Dev Patel! Nicole Kidman! What is not to love with this movie! They actually had the man that's story is portrayed in this movie on CBS This Morning... didn't hear the whole interview... but I still think it's a great story and I want to see it. 8) La La Land- This movie looks great! Musicals, Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling... a love story. Really I just want to see this movie because I want to listen to the soundtrack... I bet its amazing... but I don't really want any spoilers! 7) Rings- This looks interesting to me. I don't watch Horror mo...

Chart Chat! 2/6/17

Alrighty... another chart chat here! I know I said I'd have a Jane The Virgin Recap/ Reaction today... but I think I'm going to save it until Friday just in case people are a little behind on watching it because there will be spoilers... so please watch the show first and then come back here to read my recap Friday! 10) Lion- This movie looked really really good. Dev Patel is in it... I really like him! I loved Slumdog Millionaire and this sounded like an interesting story also. Nicole Kidman is in it too... it just looked like a really great movie. 9) The Space Between Us- This is a weird movie... why do so many science fiction movies want to keep humans hostage on Mars it seems? This looks interesting but there's a lot going on in it for a movie... also the title "The Space Between Us" is kind of too much... they don't even play the Dave Matthews song in the previews... idk it looks a little too familiar and a little too over the top for me... it's t...

Chart Chat- 1/30/17

10) Gold- Never heard of this movie! It sounds kind of boring from the IMDB description. It's basically about finding Gold... it says released in 2016... so that's weird. But yeah. Doesn't sound like something I'm going to watch. But good it's in the top 10. Ohhh Matthew McConauhey and Bryce Dallas Howard are in it. Might be good. Lol. 9) Monster Trucks- Really shocked this movie did so badly! I really thought it looked good! I think that MacGyver guy is going to be a big star... mostly because he's hot... and I just thought this would be more of a thing. 8) Rogue One- I love Star Wars! Hopefully I can see this movie before it's out of theaters... don't think I will... but hopefully I don't get spoiled at least. It looks really good. I recently rewatched the originals... so this is probably a good time for me to see it. 7) Sing- The soundtrack for this movie is amazing! I want to see the movie... don't think I will in theaters, but I love t...

Chart Chat: 8.29.16

Alrighty! Let's see What is up in Hollywood this week!  There are some surprises I think! 10) Ben Hur- This fell quite a bit! Its opening wasn't a great success last week... but I'm a little surprised it is so low on the list this week. I think most people think "Okay, this looks boring and has no plot. If I really wanted to, I should just watch the original. And it's just getting horrible reviews... so I'll save my money and not see this." And yeah... pretty much. That's what I feel about a lot of movies. Action movies like this tend to do pretty well oversees, so I think it'll do fine... but still for the budget of this movie... no. 9)Jason Bourne - This is Jason Bourne's 5th week on the charts... and its maintained a pretty high number on the charts throughout the week. Matt Damon won't go out without a fight! Lol. But yeah. Fun American spy movie... not my favorite, but it could be one day if I'm really feeling like an action mo...

Chart Chat! 8.22.16

This week is very similar to what it was last week... so I'm not really doing a countdown on it... I'm just gonna say what I think and what I know of the movies... so its kind of regular but kind of different I guess. I'm not sure... but we'll see! 1) Suicide Squad- 3rd week in a row! I think this will end up saving the new DC movies that are coming out... even though I've heard bad reviews on it, its making a lot of money... and maybe that's a good thing about it being released in August. I've said this isn't exactly one I'm rushing to see in theaters, but I think it'll be a fun one to watch at home. Like Watchmen... I know a lot of people didn't like the movie Watchmen... I liked it, but I think its because I watched it at home and not in the theaters. I feel like it'd be a little cheesy in the theaters, but at home I could accept the cheese. 2) Sausage Party- I think I'm going to have to see this when its on TV. I really don...

Chart Chat! 5.9.16

Alrighty Mother's day weekend... lets see what everyone was watching! 5) Keanu- This is what my mom and I saw... not for Mothers day... but in general. Lol. I loved this movie, I reviewed it. I'm really happy for Key and Peele for making this movie. It was really a great movie! One of my favorites I've seen this year... and I just really liked it a lot! 4) The Huntsman: Winter's War- I don't know about this one. I didn't like the first snow white and the huntsman movie... and this doesn't look any better. Its just not good. Lol. I'm a little over the fairy tale thing... but it just isn't my thing... so yeah. Probably won't see this. I like to be hopeful and go "maybe when its on tv" but I won't. Its fine. Lol. 3) Mother's Day- I hate the movies with a bunch of stars and a lot of different storylines... but I'm also a little obsessed with them... so yeah. I'll see this movie at some point in my life... I'm sure ...

Chart Chat: 11/30/15

Lets see what songs and movies people talked about at Thanksgiving Dinner and maybe saw this weekend. Music  5) Confident by Demi Lovato- This song is awesome. I was trying on bridesmaid dresses and then this song came on and I was like "Yassss" and my sister was like "I still like the other one better" lol. That story should be coming up soon. I feel a little old liking Demi Lovato... but she's awesome. I like her a lot now. 4) Hotline Bling   by Drake- Not a fan. I've talked about this on chart chats before... but it just isn't something I'd download or listen to... ever. Lol. Drake has a different sort of vibe. He isn't really a rapper... but he isn't really a singer either. I like when they do the Adele mashups of this though. Adele even thinks its funny... so thats awesome. 3) Love Yourself by Justin Bieber- I haven't heard this song yet and don't really want to click on the sample right now cause I want to write this in ...

Chart Chat- 10/12/15

Alrighty here we go! Top 5 on iTunes! 6) What Do You Mean by Justin Bieber- Alright one of the top songs is a remix version of one of the other songs... and that's boring so I'm going with the top 6 today! And I hate this song! I know people are like "ohh my gosh its so good. Justin Bieber is back and this song is good." No. Justin Bieber is unfortunately bad and this is the worst thing they could do to the radio. Also he has nude pictures online... which I don't recommend looking at. His butt is super super pale! Lol. 5) Stitches by Shawn Mendes- I like this song. I think I'm too old to like it though. This Sean Mendes is like the new One D. My friend thought it was Austin Mahone and I was like "ohh I'm to old to know him really" and somehow this guy is even younger and hotter than Austin Mahone and I'm also older than when he was popular... so I'm probably definitely to old for this song... but its still catchy, fun and I like it! ...

Chart Chat! April 6th 2015

So I really like doing these potsts. Its based off of the podcast Who Charted pretty much where they talk to guests and get to know them a little better based off the weekly charts in music and movies. I just post the top 5 movies and itunes chart and say how it pertains to my life... so its my take. Not the most original idea ever... but I like knowing what the top contenders are and I like talking about them... so that is that! 5) Insurgent- This has been out for 3 weeks and is still holding pretty strong at the box office. A lot of these top movies have been out for a few weeks now, except number 1... which if you haven't heard about yet... you might be living under a rock or something. Lol. Anyway this is also based on a popular book series... I own the first Divergent book, haven't read it yet... but it sounds good. Ansel Elgort is in it and I have a little crush on him even though I've never seen a movie of his and he is a tiny bit young for me...  well not really, ...

Chart Chat! 12/22/12

Soooo here I will talk about the top charts in music and movies.... thats all the prelude lol. Movies 5) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1- Wow! This was number 1 on the charts for a few weeks I believe, it's been out for 5 weeks and now its number 5. I really love the Hunger Games books and I like the movies as well, but whenever they come out in theaters I'm not like super excited. With the exception of the first movie I've never been like "I need to see this right when it comes out." I don't know. I always like the movies, but the last one I saw later in the theater... and this I probably will too. I feel excited to read the books when I hear a movie is being made about them... but when they come out I'm not as excited. Except for Gone Girl and The Maze Runner. Mockingjay is also probably my least favorite book, so there's that too... but overall yeah. lol. I will see this eventually but its not at the top of my list. 4) Exodus: Gods and Kin...

Weekly Charts: Music and Movies!

Heyyy guys! So I need to come up with a more clever name for this, but basically I will be commenting on the top 5 movies of the week and the top 5 songs on itunes... I won't do this all the time, but every once and a while on a monday I will! Sooo lets start out with songs... I can already tell you I haven't heard a single one of these! 5) Wastelands by Linkin Park- I kind of hate Linkin Park... for no good reason I guess. A lot of my friends liked them at some point, they are friends I think with a lot of the bands I liked in high school, but I could never really get into them. Maybe because all of their songs sound the same idk... I haven't heard the song yet... maybe I should listen to the preview at least. Well it sounds different than their other songs... but I still don't like it. I'm never going to be into this band. NEXT! 4) Wiggle By Jason Derulo feat. Snoop Dogg- First off... I was quite sure Snoop Dogg had changed his name to Snoop Lion and this CL...
