Productivity Boards April 2020

Okay... so this is kind of silly but I'm trying to keep myself busy and I'm trying to keep my social media posts updated as a way to keep me sane and occupied... but this is just my way of having a to do list and I thought I would share these with you guys! First off I have my Cork Board and right now I have a chart of some monthly goals I have for myself and my social medias. I have it broken into 4 parts- Personal, Blogs, Youtube and Other social media. I tried to make it a little broad except for my personal part because that's probably A) What I'll neglect and B) What I need the most. I'll try to keep more daily things on the next thing I'll talk about and in a bullet journal... which I also want to keep up with more. The other things I Have on this are the lists of blogs I'm planning to write and when I'm planning on posting them- and I have different colored dots to show if I've written them, typed them out or scheduled them. I'm not ...

Sometimes Things Suck- Here's How To Make It Better!

Last night I was just in a bad mood for one reason or another... Let me kind of backtrack a little bit. So I had just relaunched my blog and decided to create a facebook page. I thought "ohhh I've seen other bloggers with facebook pages. This could help the blog grow a little bit- I could be a little more interactive with everyone on there... they might actually care about what I'm posting a little more... it'll be super great!" Plus I thought that maybe this would be the sort of "kick in the butt" that I needed to actually make the blogs a little bit better... maybe even a bit more personal. So... this just seemed like a good idea. Then I made the page... and I didn't want to invite people at first because I was like "eh- that's annoying. I never go to pages people invite me to. I'm just going to kind of post it on my personal facebook page and maybe people will follow me there. And that didn't seem to work. My mom's friend ...

Relaunching a Blog, Creating a Facebook Page, Trying to do Better!

Okay... so if you guys don't know... this was pretty much always a daily blog... but I kind of re-branded it in July and I wanted to come back with 70 posts ready to go for the next few months... and I was just feeling super inspired by everything and I wrote EVERYTHING for the most part... and I just liked doing that and I sort of went with it... came up with some ideas and stuff and then I just kind of kept going with it... So as of right now- I JUST relaunched the blog. I'm writing this on July 2nd- so my first blog back was  A Little Bit About Me  and right now it's done pretty well. I shared it on my personal facebook... which is what I want to keep doing with these posts... but I also created an actual Facebook page for myself.... so you can go and "Like" Shannon Kahermanes and see all of my posts there... Thus far: No one Likes Me! Actually I like myself... but that doesn't count right? Doing the facebook page was easy... but it was also a little tr...

Tip Tuesday: What I Wish I Knew Before Starting My Beauty Instagram. Tips and Tricks for Popular, Semi Professional Instagram Accounts.

So I'm not an expert... but I did get kind of a lot of followers in a fairly short amount of time... so I think my tips could be helpful for some people and here's sort of what I do... if I use any other apps to do anything and just what I want to do with my instagram. Don't just buy everything to do a post on it...  First off... I'm not getting paid for my blog or my instagram account... so I try not to buy all the latest and greatest things just for review. If there is something new that I want, I'll buy it and review it... but its more of a "give feedback on what I have" type of account. And a lot of times I'll review something more than once. For example: I posted a review of a Milani Rose blush when I first started my account and I recommended it for prom makeup... but then I used it to travel with and I was like "this is really good for that too!" So I reviewed it in a different light. And sometimes your opinions on things change ...

Appyness: What's on My iPhone

So this is kind of a weird thing that I decided to do because I don't know what else to post today! I want to do another thing where I watch an older horror movie... but I haven't watched it yet! ... so lets see the apps! I just deleted a bunch, so that's a thing too. First I have the Utilities Folder on everyone's phone. I have Apple Mail, Maps, Videos, Stocks, Weather, Passbook... (idk what that is), Settings, newsstand, game center, notes, iTunes store and the app store. I don't use a ton of these... but yeah. Then I have my phonebook, clock, photos, camera, FaceTime, Podcasts and music. The Podcasts I'm currently subscribed to are Welcome To Nightvale, which I'm just starting to get back into and listen to some of the older ones again. This American Horror Story Podcast... which is super helpful and really great. Kumail Nanjiani's X Files Files, which I like a lot... this got me back into the X Files. The Blacklist Table Reads... they haven...
