The Daily Something

So- I just got back home from my first experience speed dating at my favorite bar in the area... and honestly it was really fun! Side note... I did mention to a bunch of people that I wrote the blog that was the #1 google result for List of Moose Puns (true story) and on the off chance anyone is reading this... that's cool. Everyone was actually pretty nice. Guys really like Game of Thrones... so if you're looking for a dude... watch Game of Thrones? I only saw the first season and I liked it but never watched more of it. Anyway... this is not a Game of Thrones Review... I wanted to talk about speed dating. So the bar that did it is a really nice bar... but not the best for an event like this... and where they had it just kind of felt awkward. My ears are still ringing because it was very loud... it's also really dark- and they gave very tiny name tags for everyone that basically no one could read... so that was all kind of awkward. It was also very hot... so I was sweat...

So I'm changing things up a little bit because I thought I could make these posts a little bit better so... we'll see how that goes. Monday was a good day... start of the week... not terrible for me. I know a lot of people don't like Mondays because it is the beginning of the week... but it's also the day after easter... I was an okay with that. It felt like part of a holiday still... of corse I don't actually work so there's that. My niece did come over and my mom and I watch her on Mondays... but my dad was home too so he watched her too. So it was just a nice day. It was a good day... and I don't have anything more to say about that. Tuesday was a more exciting day... I went to Target... and Target is a wonderful, wonderful place! I ended up getting a moleskin journal, some pens and some stamps and some sequins. Favorites  The Sing Soundtrack- So my dad just downloaded this... and I have to say, it is really great! I haven't seen the movie yet, but the soundtrack was really great! It has a little bit of everything with a little bit of sooo many different performers and lots and lots of famous songs. Some great remixes... it's just like the reason I love soundtracks... in a nutshell. So many people where I'm like "wow, I didn't know they could sing like that!" Very cool.  Adam The Woo- Adam The Woo is a really cool vlogger. He used to do a lot of Disney park vlogs, now he has an RV and he travels across the United States in his RV and just explores what a lot of little towns and places in the united states have to offer. It is really cool and interesting to see the world this way. BTW it is on his channel The Daily Woo, which I'll link in the clickables. Bright Sun Films- This is a youtube channel with a series called Abandoned, which is super interesting....

Ugh... I forgot about this this week! Sorry guys! Didn't think I'd have any favorites... but I think there are 5 things worth mentioning... so yeah.  Favorites  Baby Shower- So I was helping with my sister's baby shower this week... so it might not be a total favorite but it is what was on my mind pretty much all week and I just thought it was worth mentioning as a favorite. Comedy Bang Bang- So happy I started listening to my podcasts again! Comedy Bang Bang and How Did This Get Made to be exact... but How Did This Get Made was just a mini episode so CBB was my favorite... and I loved it! It's so funny. I just like listening to it a lot! Wassssssssabbbbbiiiii Wednesday! -I wanted to wake up early to write stuff... But I didn't. I want to try writing in the morning because they say your day hasn't been influenced by anything and that's when you're the most you... Idk I think a big part of who a person is is the stuff that influences them throughout the day and how they react to it... So that doesn't totally make sense to me... But I'll take it with a grain of salt.  -I did, however, start the "fitness" journal I mentioned yesterday and I had a good workout today. I thought it was a little too much at first..but it's probably okay.  -also listened to the Hamilton Soundtrack while working out and that was awesome. -had a good lunch too. -went in the pool and read some more of Me Before You, which is a great book! - Woke up a little late. I was sleepy today and I kept having dreams. -Okay I just remembered my dream... I'm gonna save that for a May post. Lets just say it involves Mark Ruffalo and hot guys being edited out of movies. - Had Starbucks... it was very yummy! -Kinda cleaned my room... kinda made a mess. Lol. - Went to Target. I got some stuff at the dollar spot. I might do a Dollar store type of haul on here and also a bridesmaids diaries on bridal party decor for less type of thing... not sure. Its pretty fun! - Had cheese and crackers for lunch. -My ankle kinda hurts. -I have 3,628 steps... and I think I've gotten 10,000 every day this week so far... so I need to get stepping some more even though the ankle hurts. -I kinda like what I'm wearing so I guess I'll put that in my Style Saturday. -I didn't wake up that early today! I think maybe 9 I was awake for real... so thats a good time. Lol. -Todays makeup look was bronze, and I had the Naked 3 palette, which is not really a bronzy palette. But I did a cute look with that! -I went out with my mom to help my grandmother buy topsoil. - It was cold today. I wasn't dressed that warm... so I was cold. - I ate more pizza. I had Pizza last night... so yeah. - I also went grocery shopping for iced tea - And to Starbucks. -I love Starbucks. - I had a yummy dinner! - I talked to my best friend on the phone for about an hour. -  I ate the best donut. -I reached my step goal! -I'm watching Periscope and I think I'm going to start scoping tomorrow! Soooo... I don't really want to post about my day... but I don't really want to post anything else either. I started writing something about female characters in movies and TV... but I just didn't like what I was writing and... idk... I was a blog writing machine this week and now I feel defeated. I wrote a ton on Monday and Tuesday and now I just don't feel like doing a post today... but I want to write still... So I'll talk about things that I guess are on my mind lately... Idk. So I got this Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor... and for some reason... I'm addicted to the way that it smells. Idk why, it smells like cherry medicine... but I also sort of like it. Its more cherry than medicine... and I can't smell it on my lips... but Idk. I keep smelling it in the tube. I got some cute stuff from American Eagle yesterday too! I got a dress and a romper... I do not own any Rompers... except this one... but it looked good on me and it didn't make me look f...

So today I went to Target... and I feel like there is always a story to tell when you go to Target. Lol. Anyway it was super super busy and they definitely did not have enough people working... which always seems to be the case after the holidays because its equally busy, but the store probably can't put in enough hours to give to the employees because it isn't the holidays anymore. Doesn't alway happen... but I feel like that was the case today. Anyway I had 3 things. Haul: I got Aladdin on Blu Ray, Spy on DVD and a clutch purse that I'm going to use on New Year's Eve and will probably be my "going out" purse. It has a chain too, which I love cause I'm not a huge fan of clutches. Anyway there were lines everywhere except one lane... and I kinda new the girl that was working there must be closing soon... but there were no signs up and I only had 3 things so maybe she would take me anyway... and she did! So I was super happy and super grateful tha...

These are kind of random... Some might be deeper than others, but here are some things I have recently learned about myself. 1) I have a lot of recurring themes in my dreams. I've had a lot of dreams about Harry Potter, going to Prom/some big high school event, losing my shoes, driving and a lot of dreams wondering around a mall I don't know that looks vaguely familiar. I feel like I can kind of analyze some of them, but I'm not really an expert or anything. For example my dreams about driving used to always happen when I was a teenager about to get my license. I still don't have my license, but I don't get these dreams as often as I used to. It pretty much always goes that my mom is somewhere (usually my grandparents house I think) and for some reason I need to drive myself home. There are usually toys in the back seat, but like older toys that I don't have anymore and I go like "oh that's where they are." I feel like this is just a dream about ...

So have you ever just listened to what people around you are talking about? You should try because it can be quite entertaining. Here are just a few examples of that. Be warned: one is a little graphic and disgusting. I'll save that for last. I totally didn't know how people did that. And it defeats the purpose. Lol.) ... tbh I totally thought I had more of these and I don't want to tell the nasty one yet, so I'll just go into what my friend and I do because of these little thingys. BUT I am a college student and an English major at that... which a lot of people think means you have a lot of free time because you don't have to study for exams... thats complete shit because I do have actual exams that are like legit "you need to know this information and who said these quotes and to who about what" type of things as well as millions and billions of papers. And I really like writing, especially these scribbles about life, but every once and a while I just want to do absolutely nothing but watch tv all day. Which I think I've earned. Anyway I do have a lot of stuff to do next week, but I'm going to try to budget my time a little better. I can now wake up early and stay awake for the most part, which is half the struggle of being a college student. Anyway that's all for now.
