The Best Small Details About Good Girls Pilot Episode.

Okay... so I'm a little obsessed with NBC's show Good Girls. I was going to do a full review on it... but I thought maybe I could skip that and just tell you guys my favorite little details that I noticed in the Pilot that really made the show quite special... in my opinion. Little jokes, metaphors, similar shots... there was a lot in the first episode and I really loved all those details... so lets just get into it! 1) The Fine n Frugal- Mae Whitman's character Annie works at a store called the Fine n Frugal, which the three ladies later end up robbing. I just think the name is funny... and its fitting. Is this the best job Annie could have? No- but it's fine. Is this the best grocery store ever? Nope- but it's fine because it's there. Is everything fine internally in the store... no. But people will still shop there because it's fine and frugal. 2) The Pigs Fly Ad- Now onto Matthew Lillard's character, Dean Boland. Dean runs a car dealership and he...

Scribbles About TV: ABC Fall Schedule 2017-2018 season!

This is exciting... new fall schedules are announced! I'll be writing blogs about the fall schedules from time to time now that they've been announced... I'll start with ABC because I think I watch ABC the most. Monday  8-10pm- Dancing With The Stars- I sometimes watch this show...I'm not sure if anything else I like will be on Monday Nights... so this might be the best thing on tv on Mondays for me... My grandmother likes Kevin Can Wait... so usually I put on Kevin Can Wait... but I prefer Dancing With The Stars. I think this ends before the holidays and around Valentine's day The Bachelor comes on... and then once that's done it comes back and then in the summer The Bachelorette is on... so I think they're sticking with that... but yeah. I think 2 hours is wayyy too long... but they've got nothing better to put on and this gets great ratings... so you gotta go with that right? 10-11pm The Good Doctor  This is a medical drama starring Freddie Hig...

Scribbles About TV: Fall Schedule for The CW. Very disorganized lol.

Okay... so I can't really find the schedule for the CW... and they only have a few new shows coming on... but I think they're the channel I'm most excited for so let me try to piece this together and figure out what show is on when and when they start... this may be confusing... I'll link the schedule right  here . You can kind of see what I mean... lol. Monday-  Crazy Ex- Girlfriend- This is a new show and the series premier is October 12. I think Jane the Virgin is on at 9... maybe this is on at 8? Not sure... doesn't list times. This doesn't look good. Its a musical I think... which is never a good thing on tv... and its about a girl that is trying to find her ex boyfriend or something. I could see this actually being amazing... but the musical thing has me thinking no... lol. Jane The Virgin- This was my favorite new show of last year... I may have said that about Blackish or Fresh off The Boat too... not sure... but this was probably the real favorite...

Scribbles About TV: Fox Fall Schedule

Monday  8pm- Gotham  I like Gotham... I kind of stopped watching the first season because it wasn't the most exciting thing on TV... but I did like a lot of the villains and overall it is a good villain of the week type of procedural show. 9pm Minority Report- This is based off of the Tom Cruise movie. I saw previews it looked pretty good but I probably won't warch it... idk. Not my cup of tea. Tuesday  8pm Grandfathered- John Stamos and Josh Peck star in Two and A Half Men! I don't really see how this will be that good... idk 8:30 The Grinder- Idk what this show is about... but thats an unfortunate title... and Titles are incredibly important so that may be the death of the show... I'm about to watch the trailer... never mind they don't seem to have one on the Fox Website... thats a bad sign. Yeah this is going to get canceled and I think Grandfathered will too... but its not a huge worry, their midseason shows are good. New Girl is returning midseason....

Scribbles About TV: NBC Fall Schedule

So here is the network I'm least excited about. All of my favorite shows used to be on NBC... now the only shows I've watched there ended or were cancelled and I don't think there were many new things that looked that good... so I'm concerned. I love NBC as a network, I think overall they've had some of the best tv series ever and I love their late night shows... I might start watching something out of loyalty to the network... but to be honest its not the first thing I'm worried about. Its not like I need any more shows to watch. Lol. Monday  8pm The Voice- I don't like reality tv shows and Gwen Stefani is on this show and whenever I listen to Gwen Stefani... something terrible happens. So she is banned from my life until after my sister's wedding. Lol. Sorry Gwen! This goes on until 10pm too! Crazy! 10pm Blindspot- This looked cool. Kind of reminded me of Momento or Lucy or something along those lines. I think this looks really good and I think i...

Scribbles about TV: First week of March 2015

Started out strong. Better Call Saul Marathonin with my mom. She falls asleep before most of the episodes... I have a hard time paying attention to some of the episodes... so we watched the first 3 episodes of it and tried to explain it to my sister who had little interest and doesn't like Breaking Bad. Then I watched Secrets and Lies... which sucked. It really sucks its pretty bad. Its watchable, so I may continue watching it. Compared to The Slap its better but its still laughably awful and I think this isn't how crime investigations really work. Also I'm watching it now, the second episode is a little bit better than the pilot, but its still not good. I'm pretty sure the end is going to be the same as Gone Girl. Ohhh and I half watched Once Upon a time. Ummm I don't think I watched the Winter Finale... I may not have watched the episode before that... I'm not sure. This is where Once looses me because I totally don't remember what happened and I feel ...

Scribbles About TV: Gotham and How To Get Away With Murder

I have to say, as far as drama's go... I have never been as impressed as I have been with the dramas that are just airing on TV right now, and there are already a lot of great things on TV right now and I think a lot of dramas are stepping up their game and I think this season is going to be amazing. These two shows are no exception! I just felt so connected to these characters and I'm already sucked into the world created in these shows and honestly they're such simple concepts, but they have never quite been done before in this way. First I'm going to start off with Gotham. We all know the story of Batman and we love it and the characters and villains from that world. In this show, Bruce Wayne isn't Batman yet, he's a little boy that just had to watch his parents get murdered by someone the cops didn't even know. This is quite a scandal in the city of Gotham because his parents were rich and they were very well known in the community, and its not somet...

Scribbles About TV: Fall Shows I'm excited for

So this year, there are actually quite a few shows I'm excited to see. A couple I've seen already thanks to early previews online, but yeah there are quite a few. Fox  I'm starting with Fox because I don't really know what they have this year, but so far there is one thing I'm very very interested in. Want to take a guess? Gotham of corse! I'm a huge Batman fan and when I heard about a series... I damn near lost it. I love a good villain origin story, that is probably my favorite type of weirdly specific subgenre, but I'm a total sucker for it. It'll be like Once Upon a Time, but with Batman Villains. Super super pumped. Also Jada Pinkett Smith is in it and she looks super cool in the trailers. NBC  NBC has a couple things I think look interesting. I already saw the pilot for From A to Z and I wasn't that impressed with it. There was nothing amazing about it, the characters were blah. It wasn't horrible, but I won't be rewatching the p...
