Scribbles About TV: CBS Fall Schedule 2017- Before and After Football Season

CBS is a bit more of a pain compared to the other networks as far as their Fall Schedule is concerned because they have football on Thursday... so a lot of shows don't debut till November... including my favorite- Life in Pieces...so yeah. Let's get into it! I'll show both... I'll only mention a show the first time it's on the schedule though... so yeah. Monday  Before Football:  8pm- The Big Bang Theory-  I used to like this show... and I'll still watch it in reruns and laugh occasionally... not my favorite show... I don't usually watch this on purpose... so yeah. Not my thing... it's the most popular show though... so it is still a lot of people's things... just not mine. 8:30pm- 9JKL This might be the first show cancelled just because the name is almost impossible to remember. The previews they've been showing on tv are just kind of "was I supposed to laugh at that?" I feel like they're just kidding with this whole show. ...

Scribbles About TV: Powerless Review

I was really excited about this show... and it isn't that I don't like it... it's funny... but its not super funny. It falls a little flat for me. It's a cute show and I think it's going to get better and better... but it's not my favorite show right now. It's about a girl that wanted to be a superhero or live near superheroes... but she didn't have any powers... so she tried to help the world in different ways and eventually got a job at Wayne Security, run by Bruce Wayne...'s cousin. Lol. So Batman is mentioned... it isn't mentioned that Bruce Wayne is Batman though. Danny Pudi and Ron Funchs are on the show as employees of Wayne Security that aren't really working up to their potential, and Emily (the girl, played by Vanessa Hudgens) is hired to be their boss and wants to make Wayne Security better. She didn't know, however, that Wayne Enterprises is kind of going through some problems... and has gone through quite a few bosses in ...

Scribbles About TV: Life in Pieces, Grandfathered, The Grinder

So I wasn't going to watch these shows or review them... simply because I didn't really have an interest in them. I know I'm not going to like Life In Pieces at all... but I saw the end of an episode of The Grinder... and I didn't hate it... so we're going to try to watch these and I'll tell you about them. Alright. Life In Pieces  This is the one I was going to start out with because I'm a little biased since I knew I wasn't going to like the format of the show... but I wanted to watch it with an open mind anyway... and it wasn't the worst thing on tv ever. It had some funny moments. It was kind of cheap laughs though... but things that genuinely happen in real life. I found the story with the first date the funniest and that was the beginning of the episode... but it was so short there was no real arch or character development or anything. I don't think its funny when people joke about women's bodies after birth... that's super cheap...
