Disney Princess Movies: Ranked

Today I woke up and I thought "You know Cinderella was a good movie... but not a lot of stuff happened in it compared to Snow White or Sleeping Beauty." So... I thought I would just rank the movies... this does not necessarily reflect my views on the princesses themselves... but here are my Disney movies.  And just for reference, here are all the movies on the list.   Snow White Sleeping Beauty Cinderella Aladdin  Tangled Mulan  Brave Pocahontas  The Princess and The Frog  Beauty and The Beast  The Little Mermaid  I'm counting everyone in the "Disney Princess Lineup" so that is why I'm including Mulan, even though I don't necessarily think of it as a Princess movie... and Frozen is actually it's own franchise separate from the Disney Princess Franchise. So 11 movies... all great... I haven't watched a lot of them recently... but still... I think I have my list.  11) Brave- This is definitely my le...

Throwback Thursday: Frozen

So this isn't quite as much of a Throwback... and I actually watched it more than once recently... so yeah. Hopefully this is still kind of helpful. When I first saw this movie I kind of liked it... kind of didn't think it was worth the hype... watched it a second time recently and I liked it a lot better and then I watched it a few more times... and I actually kind of love it. It isn't my favorite Disney Movie or animated movie... Obviously the Despicable Me and Minion movies are my favorites. I also really like Tangled, which I reviewed last week. Lilo and Stitch is kind of a favorite... there are just a lot of movies that are better than Frozen... so when Frozen sort of became this huge thing I was like "Meh..." I also never liked that there's this great love song at the beginning of the movie called "Love Is An Open Door" and it's for the bad guy... that's kind of terrible. I just didn't like that at all. It just seems so wasted a...

Throwback Thursday: Tangled!

So this isn't much of a throwback... but I haven't seen it in a while... so Throwback Thursday! This is one of my favorite movies... definitely from Disney possibly in my Top 30 movies I'd say... maybe a little higher than that. I'm not sure why... but I feel like I'm not unlike Rapunzel. I used to always have long tangly hair, and now I cut it short... but also personality wise... idk why, I just connect with her more than any of the other princesses. She's smart and sassy, but still doesn't totally believe in herself, but she befriends and loves everyone she meets.... I feel like I'm like that. Maybe that's being to positive... but not really because of the whole "doesn't believe in herself thing." I dunno. Not trying to toot my own horn... but I'm Rapunzel. Lol. And this is a really underrated movie too. I don't think it was even nominated for Best Animated Feature and it was brilliant. I love the music in it too. The s...

Tag Tuesday: The Disney Tag

I figured I'd do  this because why not. I love disney so... yeah. Made sense. Also its like 5:20am and I had a dream that freaked me out a bit... so yeah. A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience. The lanterns at Tangled. Its just so pretty and I love that movie.  An unforgettable experience/moment you've had at the parks. There are a lot... the best that I don't think they do anymore was that Mary Poppins asked to ride the carousel with me and my sister and that was fun. The funniest? Some drunk guy at Epcot thought my dad was someone else and was about to fight him and my grandfather right away was ready to fight him. He apologized later... but of corse we almost get in a fight at Epcot. Poppy would have taken him too! Lol. And also the Millennium desserts they had at the Rose and Crown in Epcot. Poppy LOVED them and ended up eating his own and finishing up the rest of everyone else's too and the waiter said "You'll be running all a...

Scribbles About Movies: Disney Animated Shorts Review

So I was going to post the Great AHS Rewatch... but I gotta say... idk if I'm going to keep up with that. Its just a lot. I don't mind doing it... but it takes up so much time and idk... its fun to do and all... but now I'm feeling less attached to AHS and I want to watch something other than every season of that all over again... I did already start with 7&8... maybe I'll just post all the ones sometime after the series finale or closer to that time... but right now its just a lot and I don't feel like doing it. What I did feel like doing, however, was watching the Netflix Disney Animated Shorts movie collection... so I thought why not just do mini reviews on each mini movie and maybe rank? Ranking might be a lot... we'll see. John Henry (2000) Great music. This was animated really nice and simply also. It had a sketched look to it that I really liked. Its going to be fun to see how the animation develops. This would probably be a thing you would watch...

Favorite Disney Cartoon Characters

I feel like I've been liking lists lately, and I thought this would be a fun one... I'm just including characters from Disney movies. I'm not including Pixar, The Muppets, the original disney characters like Mickey or Winnie the Pooh characters because... that wouldn't be fair to the other disney characters. I'd have all Pixar characters, muppets and Tigger and stuff. Lol. But... yeah. Here are some of my favorites. I'm going to try to keep this in order... but lets be real... its Disney. And this will be like a top 10 thing, but in no order. And these are all human characters because I kind of forgot about Lion King until the end of the list and then was like "hey I need Lion King here somewhere" but then realized all my characters would be Lion King Characters and that wouldn't be fair either. 1) Aladdin- Aladdin is probably my favorite Disney Prince... there's another one on here that is similar to Aladdin that I really like... but yeah....
