Just finished watching Season 1 of Wentworth... and I have feelings! Alright first off... when you watch it... DO NOT read the episode descriptions on Netflix before watching an episode... and DO NOT go on IMDB of the show. Sooo many spoilers. I looked ahead at the episode descriptions and that ruined one huge plot point that would have been a very shocking twist... and when I went on IMDB and saw the number of episodes another character was in... that spoiled another twist and I put two and two together and figured out what was going to happen... so a lot of the end of season 1 was spoiled for me because of that. It was still really good and how everything happened was good... but I didn't need to know it until I watched the episode. Lol. I should probably give a description of what the show is about too... because I didn't hear about it until my friends all started watching it. It is an Australian show about a woman's prison. Favorites  Friends- Still loving this show… it never really gets old… I’m on Season 3 right now and I’m loving seeing all the Ross and Rachel stuff over again. It’s fun!  Mr. Kate- Mr. Kate is a great Interior design channel that I just found on youtube… she’s really funny and has a great personality. I love her style too… she has a series called “OMG We’re Coming Over” and that’s a lot of fun… she’s just fun. Her husband is the “Mr.” part I guess and she’s Kate… together they do great designs and room transformations. It’s a lot of fun to watch! I just got new furniture for my room and my room will look a lot different, so I’ve been looking for some inspiration.  Pinterest- Kind of for the same reasons I’ve been loving Mr. Kate- I love Pinterest. After the shocking cliffhanger ending of last season's Orange is The New Black... season 5 did not disappoint! The season took place over the corse of 3 days and it focused on all the characters that we already know and love as opposed to adding a ton of new characters... which the show has done in previous seasons. I would say this is definitely the best season because of that. I was excited when I heard that it was over the corse of 3 days... but that also prepared me for a really tragic season. If a show takes place over a longer period of time... usually there's more room for things to go right for our heroes. This room took place over 3 days... so nothing was really going to go right for them. Also this season was very confined. There weren't many flashbacks... and a few of the flashbacks even showed prison or some sort of prison in them as well. The last few episodes even took place largely in very tiny rooms... so that gave an even more confined feeling... it mad...

So I thought I'd try to bring this little blog series back because... why not! There's a lot of news right now that I'm just not a fan of... I'm watching the CBS Morning News right now... which I love... but they're on extra because of the Comey investigation... and I don't really want to watch that. This also might not just be "News" but it might include some things that I've learned this week or discovered... if that's anything so... we'll see what happens. I will promise not to talk about anything majorly political. If something like Covfefe happens again... I'll probably talk about that... but the point of this post is to get away from all of that... so that's what I'll be doing! 1) Urban Decay Announces Naked Heat Palette- I guess I'll start out with some Beauty news... the Naked Heat Palette from Urban Decay. This is a warm- toned palette... that to me... looks exactly like the Sweet Peach Palette... but I guess it...

So I wasn't all that excited when this season came out to be totally honest...the show hasn't been that good in a long time, I like Grace and Frankie a little better...and it just isn't my absolute favorite show anymore. ...but this season was different! It started out really really well and I wasn't really going to binge watch it or anything but then I ended up watching 7 episodes the fist day and finishing it within 3 days... Oops! Like I said it was a good season.  There's never really been a "hide the body" storyline on the show, but this year it did! And I think that was what the show was really missing. I liked the friendship between Lolly and Alex, I liked that we learned Lolly's backstory. I liked knowing more about Healy cause he kinda didn't get the attention needed last year on the show... And I still didn't really like his backstory, but it made sense at least now!  And I liked Piper's story this season! I liked her ...

1) Kristin Stewart's Mom confirms (and supports) actresses new relationship with girlfriend Alicia Cargile- So in a recent interview Stewart's mom said that she thought her daughter's new girlfriend was "a lovely girl" and she totally supports Kristin's relationship with her. It wasn't really a big deal. Idk if its that shocking that Kristin Stewart is bisexual... makes sense to me. Whats even less shocking is that Alicia is her personal assistant, and Stewart is kind of known for workplace relationships... lets not forget Twilight and Snow White and The Huntsman... Just kidding. Let's forget those, that was an embarrassing scandal in Kristin's life... that she got in trouble for more than she should have... she should have been in trouble because those movies were terrible! But thats beside the point lol. Point is she's happy and her mom is cool with it and thats good! 2) Did Bachelorette contestant leak who got the final rose?- Some Bache...

So I just finished watching season 3 of Orange Is The New Black... and I liked it! A lot! There were some problems, which I will get into... but for the most part, I thought this was a good season that probably described prison life a little more accurately than in previous seasons. I'm going to start off by talking about Larry, because that was the first big difference that I noticed. I'm team Larry, I know thats an unpopular opinion, but I love Jason Biggs and Larry really is/was the perfect boyfriend. Piper just really messed things up with him. I think Polly reminded him most of Piper and thats why he felt like he had to sleep with her... I think it was great that he proposed to her right before going to prison! I can understand that he didn't forgive Piper for sleeping with Alex! It makes sense! So despite me liking him a lot... I still felt a little relieved that he wasn't on this season. I'm not crazy about love triangles on tv shows in general... so the ...

I've recently started re-watching some shows I've already seen before and watching again for at least the second time. I thought I might as well post this, because its rare. Arrested Development- Clearly I've seen this show a lot and I'll never ever get sick of it. Whenever it's on tv, it doesn't matter what season I will watch it again and again. I've probably only watched season 4 as a whole 2 times, but still. The original 3 seasons are amazing and I could still watch them when I'm 80 years old and laugh. Breaking Bad- My other Favorite Tv Show! I've started rewatching this because AMC has their Breaking Bad Binge and its still just as good. It's rare for me to watch a drama more than once, but this is definitely something I want to watch again and again. I feel like I should watch the series at least once a year, its just so brilliant. The League- Whenever a new season of The League comes out on Netflix, I always watch the whole thing. ...

In Honor of OITNB Season 2 coming out on Netflix, I thought I would do a WCW on the shows main character: Piper Chapman. 1) She really does make the best of bad situations- No matter what Piper does, and how much trouble she gets into, she always seems to make the best of the bad situation. When she goes to prison she says it'll be great that she'll get ripped. When she goes to the Shu, a few times, she does what she can to not go completely crazy. Even when Larry and Polly get together, she handles it quite well. She knows what she's doing, in this season she's kind of figured prison out and she gets it. 2) Even though she's kind of selfish... she does care greatly about the people she cares about always- Piper is pretty selfish, I think its safe to say she does focus on her own problems... even when Polly is getting married she complains about her own problems with Alex. But even with Larry and Polly's affair and Alex betraying her so many times, she still...

I'm gonna try to make this spoiler free, but we shall see what happens... I'll probably spoil some things, so if you haven't seen the whole season yet... you've been warned! So I loved the way it started out. It was a little odd because it didn't take place at Lynchfield Prison and some people are complaining it didn't feel right to start without the whole gang in Lychfield, but I really liked it. Because the show is such an ensemble, a lot of times t can feel like the show isn't really about Piper and her story. I thought the way it focused on Piper and Alex and the way that Piper got in prison in the first place was important. It also showed a lot of new characters that were super super funny and it was just overall a super funny and entertaining episode. I feel like I need to post something about my obsession with Orange is The New Black before season 2 comes out because... I am obsessed! So if you haven't watched it yet you should because it is perfect! It's about a woman named Piper who is basically a nice blonde lady with a past. She's engaged to a normal guy played to absolute perfection by Jason Biggs, and suddenly one day she is arrested for a crime that she committed years earlier. The crime was that she was smuggling drugs and she did it for an ex-girlfriend, also played to perfection by That 70's Show's Laura Prepon. Jason Biggs proposes to her, she goes to prison and has many adventures including insulting the chef, getting stalked by "Crazy Eyes" who thinks she's her prison wife, seeing a chicken and eventually starting a life-threatening fight with a fellow inmate who happens to be a jesus-lover. 1) The MTV movie awards happened- There aren't enough award shows for the 18-25 demographic I guess, so MTV has an award show too. I don't watch them, but from what I gather The Hunger Games won best movie, Channing Tatum showed up late and won something called the trailblazer award and I think on the prompter there was a picture of a dick or something.
