The Daily Something

So I did want to do a recap of the Oscars- I mentioned that and although I only saw one of the movies nominated- Get Out- I still thought I had enough that I could really do a good review of and I have some things to say so here we go! Allllright so first off I liked Jimmy Kimmel as a host last year... I think he did a pretty okay job... Jimmy Kimmel isn't my favorite late night talk show... I usually skip it- but I do like some segments and I think Kimmel is a good person. I kind of wish he spoke out more against people like Ben Affleck, Casey Affleck and Matt Damon... he sort of had a good opportunity to do that and I think he could have... but annnnyway I thought he did a good job the previous year... and I think this year he improved. He might not have been on it a lot... but I liked that they went to a movie theater to surprise moviegoers... although I think they might have done that last year. I liked his opening monologue... overall I just think he's a good pick an...

Favorites  Chobani Flips- I've been eating the Chobani Flips whenever I've had an actual breakfast... I've tried the "Honey,That's Nuts" "Almond Cocoa Loco" and Peanut Caramel Satisfaction... which I just did a review on right  here . It was good!  Netflix- I've just been watching a lot of movies lately... trying to watch a movie a day for March... and so far, most of what I've watched was on Netflix. I watched Amelie, Zootopia and Chicago and The Jungle Book... everything's been good so far. I'm excited to keep up with this! KFC Georgia Gold- I had this this week... it was amazing! I think it's still at KFC stores... if you can get this... omg! Get it! I had the extra crispy chicken... but you can get it in tenders or a chicken little sandwich also... this- with coleslaw...yummmmm! So good! News and World Events The big news of the week was the Oscar Blunder. PWC were responsible for the mishap and they apologized....

So I didn't see many of the nominated movies this year... but if I were in The Academy THIS is who would win the oscars. Basically Gone Girl would probably win a lot. BEST ACTRESS  This is someone that was actually nominated, so it should be no shock. Rosamund Pike. That was such a breakthrough role, a hard character to play and she did a phenomenal job of it. She hasn't really starred in anything I don't think and she hasn't been in many movies overall, but people were talking about her a lot and she should get it. BEST ACTOR  I didn't see Foxcatcher at all... but I want Steve Carell to win of corse. How cool would it be for him to EGOT? Plus he looks really good in this movie. If I were going to give it to movies I did see, I think I would pick Chris Pratt? Lol or Kermit the Frog... they both did a pretty amazing performance. BEST DIRECTOR  Again, it should go to Gone Girl. David Fincher did it right. Gone Girl could have been such a bad movie if someone ...
