So overall I love the John Wick series... but this is probably the weakest movie in the series. It's still an important movie that bridges the gap between the first and the third movie really well... but it's my least favorite John Wick movie. Let's talk about what I didn't love about this movie... the plot is much harder to understand than the plot of the first movie. It's got a lot of layers to it and it gets into the world of the movie... which is good but I feel like this one movie was 2 separate movies. Basically the first half of the movie is John being forced into a mission... and then once that ends it's the person that sent him on the mission going after him... and it just isn't quite as exciting. Plus I really thought the ending of the first movie did a good job of wrapping everything up while still showing new problems and those problems weren't really addressed in this movie. Ok guys... I joked about doing this review for a while... If you've ever read some of my other blogs called "Chart Chats" where I talk about the top 10 movie charts every once and a while there was an action movie I knew NOTHING about that would just stay on the charts for weeks and I would always joke that I was "thrilled" to see them on the charts again... which was very sarcastic because of corse I wasn't. Ughhhh I keep teasing the Throwback Thursdays for AHS... and they're coming... but I was going to finish watching the first season this morning... and I had a nightmare about American Horror Story... it kind of combined Tate with Kai... and it was good because Evan Peters was in it... but it was scary still... so it wasn't exactly the first thing I wanted to watch. But anyway in an attempt to watch movies more often... I saw this on demand and I was like "You know, I've never seen this movie." So I watched it and I really really liked it. It was so funny...
