Scribbles About Life: I Won a Radio Contest

So a couple days ago I actually won a radio contest! I know its nothing that unusual or special... but it was the first radio contest I won! And I was happy with it. The prize was a chocolate bunny filled with butter cookies from a local chocolate shop... that I've actually won something from before at a gift auction... I have good luck with things... Maybe I'll talk about that too. So the question was one I knew right away because it was an english related question. Which author was born on the same day as a Hailey's Comet and died 2 days after a Hailey's Comet... do you know... I'll wait for you to guess... Mark Twain! It's Mark Twain lol. So I knew it right away and I was like "should I call? I kinda want those cookies and chocolate..." And so I did call and the woman was really nice. I thought I was going to be nervous and sound stupid, but people on the radio are very nice and friendly... and she really was. She had to ask for my birthday and ...

Scribbles About Life: Getting in The Good Lines

So today I went to Target... and I feel like there is always a story to tell when you go to Target. Lol. Anyway it was super super busy and they definitely did not have enough people working... which always seems to be the case after the holidays because its equally busy, but the store probably can't put in enough hours to give to the employees because it isn't the holidays anymore. Doesn't alway happen... but I feel like that was the case today. Anyway I had 3 things. Haul: I got Aladdin on Blu Ray, Spy on DVD and a clutch purse that I'm going to use on New Year's Eve and will probably be my "going out" purse. It has a chain too, which I love cause I'm not a huge fan of clutches. Anyway there were lines everywhere except one lane... and I kinda new the girl that was working there must be closing soon... but there were no signs up and I only had 3 things so maybe she would take me anyway... and she did! So I was super happy and super grateful tha...

Scribble About Life: One Of Those Days

Do you ever have one of those days where you keep picking the wrong lines at stores? That was my day today. Lol. So I figured I'd tell you guys about it. So my mom and I went to the mall. I had a censor left on a coat that we had gotten a few months ago, but it just got cold enough to wear and I happened to notice it yesterday while in American Eagle... and then the alarms went off. SO that was  a thing... Anyway we went to get that taken off today, there were lines all over, we got in a short line... but it still took a while to just do that.  Then we went to Sephora... surprisingly no line there. There is always a line at my Sephora, but we were in and out there pretty quickly.  Then we went to a small toy store and we were going to get a game for someone, but then we saw the price tag for that game and it was ridiculous. Plus we waited in line for forever and no one was anywhere near the register to help us... so that was an issue.  Then we went to...

Scribble About Life: Cleaning/ redoing my room.

So right now my life is in a huge transitional phase in pretty much every aspect. I've moved out of college, and I haven't graduated quite yet,but I am living at home for quite a bit, I'm not moving back into the dorms this fall and I realized something... I have far to much crap for one household!  This is kind of a struggle! Ever since I moved back home I've been trying to find a place for all of my stuff and trying to decide what stuff to keep, what stuff to get rid of and where exactly to put everything. Some of it was actually not that difficult. I have a lot of drawers and other stuff from my dorms, that's good for some storage at least...but I have so many clothes and books and all sorts of things that I have to sort through and get rid of and all of that jazz. The first step was getting rid of things. This was probably the most difficult, but there are so many things that I have that I'm not using any more or it doesn't fit me and it's just t...
