Scribbles About Life: Getting in The Good Lines

So today I went to Target... and I feel like there is always a story to tell when you go to Target. Lol.

Anyway it was super super busy and they definitely did not have enough people working... which always seems to be the case after the holidays because its equally busy, but the store probably can't put in enough hours to give to the employees because it isn't the holidays anymore. Doesn't alway happen... but I feel like that was the case today.

Anyway I had 3 things. Haul: I got Aladdin on Blu Ray, Spy on DVD and a clutch purse that I'm going to use on New Year's Eve and will probably be my "going out" purse. It has a chain too, which I love cause I'm not a huge fan of clutches. Anyway there were lines everywhere except one lane... and I kinda new the girl that was working there must be closing soon... but there were no signs up and I only had 3 things so maybe she would take me anyway... and she did!

So I was super happy and super grateful that this girl that I knew was going home soon took me even though she didn't have to and she could have left sooner... but that leaves me with the task of telling other people that this lane was closed... and one woman was pretty miffed about it.

Well by "other people" I really just mean one woman... which is kind of understandable because the lines were out the door. She had quite a few things also I believe... so I said "This register is about to be closed" and then the woman that waited on me said "Sorry I'm closed" she said "but the lines are all around the street!" Street? Really? Lol there wasn't a street. But yeah the lines were ridiculous... but still the girl had to go home! She couldn't take anyone else, she'd been working all day and its probably been as crazy busy as it was all day... and she had to leave! I couldn't believe that woman was like asking her to stay! And yeah, its not that girls fault. She probably can't stay even just to wait on that woman because you can't really stay that longer because that messes up some of the hours for the store... so yeah. Not really her problem... just a risk of going to Target 4 days after Christmas and 3 days before New Years. So yeah.

My mom and I also had success at Costco! We got in the fast person's line and got in and got out. It was great!

And of corse we got stuck in a little bit of traffic... but thats inevitable... especially if you're in 2 good lines already!

So hope you enjoyed this blog about getting in the good lines... I feel like somehow all of my Scribbles About Life are about waiting in lines for things... but when inspiration strikes you just gotta go with it!

Byeee!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
