Last Minute Gift Ideas

So... these are literally lassssttt minute gift ideas. Lol. It's Christmas Eve, its kind of your last chance... you need something quick, easy and good.

Now these aren't the times to go to the mall... you probably don't want to go to the grocery store, these are quick, easy cheap things... that may get you a little out of trouble. Lol. I'm not saying get these for your wife, girlfriend, mom... but if you're desperate and you don't want to go to the mall... here are some things.

You could always get E-gift cards. Check out what online only stores they like and see if you can get an e-gift card. You could also probably get them from other stores and retailers that are not online only. You could check out Guilt City, they offer discounts on websites... so you can buy a 50 gift card for 40 dollars or something like that.

Scratch off tickets are also a good gift. You can go to your local convenience store and get a few holiday themed ones. These are fun and maybe they'll win some money!

I'd also look at local favorites. Local stores will probably be a little less busy, maybe get a gift card to their favorite restaurant or if theres a jewelry store or something. Bakeries are going to be a little more busy, but if you want to do that... that's good too.

Check out some of their favorite things at CVS. CVS has a little bit of everything at a somewhat reasonable price. They have a lot of beauty things on sale now, they have holiday decor and candy and toys and even some things like blankets and electronics. You could find a lot there to give for Christmas gifts.

Even if you just know what kind of shampoos or something someone uses and maybe gift those and some other hair care and body care things and call it a pamper kit... you can get away with a lot if you can package things cutely. Lol.

Or just candy or food. If someone were to give me Cool Ranch Doritos, Kettle cooked potato chips, some candy like Twix or hershey kisses... I'd be happy.

See what sort of DIY things you can do from things you have in your house. If you have the ingredients to bake some cookies, bake some nice cookies. If you have the things in your house. I just saw a DIY for a gingerbread sugar scrub online, and I think I have all the ingredients for that in my house, and that was kind of cool. I don't have the containers... but still.

My biggest recommendation for this sort of real end of the wire shopping: Make it personal. Get things you know that you know they like. Even if its just candy and snacks from CVS... if you know what they like it can be really nice and personal and they'll know that you like them and took your time to do something for them. It doesn't have to be anything big, because really, it is the thought that counts.

Hope this was a useful last minute post!

Byeee! Happy Hunting!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
