Blogmas Day 6- Scribbles About Food: Holiday Edition

So what would Blogmas be without a Scribbles about food! So here are some fun holiday foods and drinks that I like... or maybe I hate... you'll find out!

Hood Pumpkin Holiday Nog- So this is yummy. This isn't the yummiest Egg Nog in the world, that would have been the now discontinued Hood Sugar Cookie Eggnog/ Holiday Nog. These aren't actually made with Eggs, so that is why its called Holiday Nog now... fun fact. If you like Egg Nog, If you like Pumpkin cheesecake, I think you'll like this flavor. It doesn't taste like you're drinking cheesecake... but it reminds me a bit of pumpkin cheesecake, just without the cheesiness.

Hood Vanilla Holiday Nog- This is closer to the Sugar Cookie Nog that I knew and loved... so I like this a little bit more. It still isn't the same. Its pretty good though. If you tried that Sugar Cookie Nog and you liked it, I would recommend this one. Its really sweet and vanilla-y. I really like it.

Fudge Covered Ritz Crackers- I had these last year and I didn't think they were that great... but this year they're just so fresh and delicious. My mom got me a box for an Advent Gift a few days ago... not gonna lie... its almost gone now. I didn't share it with anyone.... lol. Its really really yummy though. The chocolate is good. I love it!

Pepperidge Farm Snowballs- Another good cookie for the holidays... that they messed with a little bit to be honest. They definitely shrunk these this year... and its noticeable. These are still very flavorful and good though. They're regular shortbread cookies I guess but they have powdered sugar and a citrus flavor. Really nice and limited edition for christmas.

Pepperidge Farm Linzer Cookies- These are delicious also. They're linzer torte cookies, which are powdered sugar cookies with raspberry filling in the middle... really really yummy. They don't skimp on the powdered sugar either! When they first came out they didn't have a lot of powdered sugar... now they do! I really like these. I got this the same day I got the Ritz crackers... these are gone now!

Queen Anne Cherry Cordial K Cups- I'm actually trying this right now... just got these today at Stop and shop... they're pretty dang tasty! You can get the chocolate cherry flavor from it, but it still tastes normal and like coffee. Its sweet too. I really like it. It's sweet too. I think these would go well with chocolate cherries. The Hershey Kisses in the chocolate cherry are my favorite... so this would go well with those.

Also these don't say K Cups on the package... idk if that means they're some knock off type of thing or if they work with other machines... but it works with the Keurig and its good!

Starbucks Christmas Blend K Cups- This was good too... this needs to be a little sweeter... lol. It has a nice spicy sort of christmas flavor. I like it though, if you're more into coffee and not as into christmas things.

Green Mountain Gingerbread K Cups- This is soooo good. If you love gingerbread and you love keurigs... these are good. I might even like it better than the Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks! That is how good it is! I loveee it!

so that is it! Hope you guys enjoy it!

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
