Blogmas Day 9: Favorite Christmas Decorations

So... here's just a weird little post. I've been writing these a day ahead usually... but I was really sick yesterday and I didn't get to... so I figured I'd talk about some of my favorite Holiday Decorations and why I like them... so yeah!

1) Lawn Inflatables- I feel like driving around and seeing Christmas Decorations is so much more fun now with the Lawn Inflatables. I didn't like this snowman that they used to make that was holding a candy cane cause it looked a little like it was going to hurt you with the candy cane. There was also one that had Santa with a reindeer and if it got windy... it looked like santa was doing obscene things with the reindeer... which was really funny. But we have a Charlie Brown Christmas Pageant snow globe... and my personal favorite an inflatable Minion! 2 minions actually building a snowman! I love it! I love minions and I just love the lawn inflatable thingy! We got it at Wall Mart wayyy before christmas and I'm really happy about it.

2) Wooden Advent Calendars- This is one of the most christmasy things. Its usually the first thing we put out and its so cute. My mom does really special presents for us too now that we're older. I don't know where exactly you can get this one... but its fun and its nice and cute! I love it!

3) Colorful Lights- personally... I'm a fan of the colorful lights and not so much a fan of the white lights. The white lights do look really classy, and they look nicer and more mature... but I'm a fan of the colorful ones! I just like seeing a bunch of color at Christmas time and it just looks more fun and festive. There are some that are a little too bright and can be a little much... but I love colorful lights.

I'm not hating on the white lights... as I said they are more classy and sophisticated looking... but I like bright colors! I like white lights too... but everyone has a preference and mine are colorful lights.

My sister also got us minion lights! I'm really excited to hang them up... and I'm probably going to steal them for my room the rest of the year... lol.

4) Hallmark Snowmen- Its kind of a family tradition to get these now! They're always really cute and they have snowmen and a snow lady and a puppy and there's a little boy snowman now... they're just adorable and it makes me happy. I love getting these. They usually go on sale after christmas too... so look out!

5) Frosty Friends Ornaments- Another favorite thing of mine is the Frosty Friends Ornaments! I Love them! They always have such cute little characters and things. Really cute! I love them!

So yeah. Those are a few of my favorite things! If  you guys like something different or don't like something... let me know. Don't hate on my minions though cause Minions are adorable. Lol.

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
