Some things I got For Christmas

So I kind of wanted to share a few things I got for Christmas. I have some hauls on my beauty blog with the more beauty related stuff I've gotten during the holidays and I'll include those gifts in there... but these are kind of more non-beauty or clothing items.

So I love minions... so there's sort of a theme here with some of the minion-items I've gotten.

My sister got me minion lights like Christmas lights and they are the most beautiful lights in the entire world! I love them, I think they're adorable and really brighten up the room because they are yellow... these may end up in my room when Christmas is over... lol.

My mom got me a Funko Mystery Mini Minion. I opened it up and it was a little karate fighting minion. So cute! I love it. I have this one already, but its one of my favorites and I just think he's adorable... and its a minion so of corse I love it!

And Minion Monopoly! These were all kind of surprises. I ordered most of what I got myself... so these were my surprises and I was really happy with them because I love minions!

I got a few dvds too. Gone Girl, which is my favorite book ever and I really wanted to watch the movie again and the blu ray was only $15. It comes with the digital download... I think the DVD too... maybe not. And an Amazing Amy book, so that was cool. The book was definitely for kids... but it was pretty creepy if you know Gone Girl!

And I got Inside Out... which was one of my favorite movies this year! I love it and I needed the blu ray. I got myself a Blu Ray player for Black Friday, so that was cool!

I also got Minions the movie, this was an advent calendar present my mom got me actually. This was my favorite movie this year... possibly ever... I think I still like Original Despicable Me better... but this is kind of tied. I love minions, as I've said. Lol.

And some books! I got Shonda Rhimes book, The Year of Yes. I love all the Shonda Rhimes shows, and my sister was saying she's really funny and the book is really good and she's interesting and its a fun read.

I also got Silver Screen Fiend by Patton Oswalt. I love him and I thought this book sounded interesting. He's really funny and I just like him. This is about his love of movies and how that kind of made him who he is. I thought it sounded good.

Also The Grownup by Gillian Flynn. This is a newer book from her and its a smaller book. She wrote Gone Girl and some other books I like, so this will probably be good too. I think its a short ghost story, I'll read it soon and I'll let you guys know about it.

Ohhh I also got Minion Drinking glasses, which I love these from Target. I have an Elf set and now I have a minion set too. It was on clearance too, so that's extra good! I love them! I'm excited to use them!

And my big gift was the iPhone 6s... which I'm loving so far. I got the Rose Gold one. I got this a little bit early cause I switched services too and I would have been phone-less for a few days and that can't happen! I'll do a scribbles about gadgets on this... but after having an iPhone 5 that I haven't updated in a year... I feel like Kimmy Schmiddt! Lol.

So that is everything! I hope you guys enjoyed this. No meaning to brag or anything, But I always love watching What I got For Christmas videos and you'll get to see what I'll be reviewing sometime soon... so that makes sense!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
