Now it's time for the weekly pop. News  The latest Hollywood Sexual Assault allegation is against actor Kevin Spacey... who was one of my favorite actors until now sadly. Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual assault while Spacey was very drunk and 26 and Rapp was only 14. Spacey has since come out of the closet. Spacey claims not to remember the incident and says he was confused at the time and will now live his life as a gay man. Many are criticizing the timing of Spacey's coming out because... well it seems like he's using it as an excuse and there is no excuse for sexually harassing or assaulting a 14 year old. Or anyone for that matter. Humans are not sexual objects and there's no excuse for treating anyone as less than a human. It makes me mad. Netflix has stopped production of the final season of House of Cards amidst these allegations. I believe there was a spinoff in the works that they are still working on... I'm not sure if I believe that... but if Net...

Here it is... Weekly Pop! Sorry this is sort of becoming the bi-weekly pop but... idk life happens! News  The news about Harvey Weinstein is everywhere... several actresses and women are all coming forward saying that he sexually harassed or assaulted them. Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Rose McGowan, and many others have been some of the people mentioned. Recently actress Lupita Nyongo mentioned that he asked her to massage him and take her clothes off or something. Several people have pulled their movies from being made by the Weinstein Company. Lin Manuel Miranda is changing studios for the film version of In The Heights, Channing Tatum has pulled out his movie from the production company. Ben Affleck apologized for this happening in Hollywood saying "Wow, this was going on for years and I had no idea!" To which Rose McGowan replied "F*** Off Ben Affleck" and said that she told him that he grabbed McGowan inappropriately and Affleck replied "I told ...

Hello and Welcome to The Weekly Pop! The news and stuff for all things Pop Culture! News  Tom Petty passed away this week at the age of 66. People know him from his band Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers... he sang songs like Free Fallen, Refuge and American Girl... He was just finishing up a tour and went into cardiac arrest right before the end of his final tour... he will be missed and his songs remembered forever (I never considered myself a big fan, but I love all of these songs and appreciate that they all came from one really talented man. I never really realized that before and I think I'll try listening to some more songs.) Hugh Heffner also died this week and Sunday Morning did a great tribute to him saying that "Icons are complicated" and while some people think of him as a "Visionary" and some people think of him as "a dirty old man" he is both. So...I kind of keep thinking of Weekly series to do... and I don't fully have this planned out yet- but I think on Saturdays I will have any and all pop culture news... and maybe I'll include some things that aren't actually news but things about Pop Culture I found out this week? Honestly... I have no idea what I'm going to do with this blog... I just came up with the idea less than a minute before I started writing this very post... so let's see what's up! News  All of Will and Grace is available right now on Hulu... it is virtually impossible to get this on DVD- they never made a blu-ray... so this is kind of the only means to watch it- unless you're like me and you watch it on lifetime every weekend and tivo it and watch it before bed most days... I already want Hulu to begin with... I don't have it currently... but this has me pretty excited! The revival debuts on Thursday! This weekend could be one of the most successful in Box Office history...
