The Daily Something

I received these products from Influenster for testing purposes, I mentioned them in a haul I recently posted and on my first tries I really love both of these. I have dry skin and would normally stay away from a "matte" foundation, but this doesn't give an overly matte look like some foundations. I like to say that some foundations give you "statue face" and cling to all your dry patches and pores. So far I have not experienced that with this foundation. It looks really natural and it covers quite a bit. I wore it on Monday and I couldn't find my concealer, but then at second glance I was like "you know what I may not even need concealer" sooo yeah it works pretty well. The lipstick also is a really fun color and seems to stay on for a long time. I had some on and age some KFC, and didn't feel the need to reapply. The KFC test is a pretty hard one to pass, so this is doing a fine job already. First check in 2:20 (applied makeup at 11:10)...

Sooo Milani has a new lipgloss/lip laquer type thing that looked pretty cool so I'm going to try it today! Color isn't great on this hand swatch... but I'll show you on my lips too! You can see the intensity! It's called- as mentioned above- the Lip Intense Liquid color and let me tell you... they are not lying about the intensity. I picked up the color Fiery Coral because I don't really have any corals in my life. It was really hard to chose, they only have 4 colors (so far) but they are beautiful. Since Wallgreens has Milani on sale now... If I like this I may pick up some more tomorrow. It's supposed to have the shine of a gloss but the lasting power of a lipstick. It seemed like a cool thing I needed in my life so I got it! Lol. I have tried it, but only like to play around with- not for a long period of time I rubbed it off right after. So far the color payoff is amazing. I have a feeling it might be a little bit drying, but it doesn't feel awful ...

Okay, this is going to be a new way that I will review products. When I did my Dove Deodorant review, I decided to post it on a Thursday because I have a lot of things going on on Thursdays. I have 3 classes, barely any time to myself... so if something can past the Thursday test it is a truly amazing product. This isn't exactly a first impression, because a lot of times I like to test things RIGHT away so a first impression isn't all that good. Also this isn't really a new product or anything... but it's new to me so I thought I'd give this a go. I had a $2 off L'oreal coupon and they are definitely one of my favorite drugstore brands and this is something I was interested in so I thought why not? I tried this for the first time on Sunday Night, and my first impression was that I liked it a lot. I used a primer under it and it was really nice and easy to blend with my fingers.
