Okay... I was going to do a top 10 list of the decade... but I think I'm going to just kind of talk about some of my favorite things of the decade... but I think I'm just going to talk about some things. If you were going to ask me what the BEST THING that the 2010s have given us- it's Hamilton. You guys... Hamilton... What a fantastic musical! I saw it in 2017 I believe... I had listened to the album just about a year before I saw it and it was still 1000% better than I expected. Totally exceeds all hype and definitely worth checking out! Another big favorite that has spanned from 2010 and I'm sure my love for them will continue for years to come... THE MINIONS! They are just so cute and they always make me smile and laugh. I loved the first despicable me so much and whenever I was stressed in college I would watch different minion videos and mini movies. It's just really fun! Okay... so this may seem like an odd post to do during "School Month" but my love of minions actually happened when I was in college... so I feel like I need to kind of explain the whole Minion situation. First I should explain the previews for Despicable Me... when I was in High School I was a pretty big comedy geek... so when I saw a movie was coming out with Steve Carell, Jack McBrayer, Jemaine Clement, Kristin Wiig, Will Arnett and Russell Brand listed on the credits... I was pretty dang excited! Next preview I was on The Worst First Date Of All Time... which I guess I'll get to later... but yeah. It was bad enough that it deserves capitals and a title in this little section of the post... so that's fun. But anyway they showed the Minions flipping the cow cup... and I thought it was the funniest thing ever... and the guy I was with didn't laugh... so that should have been a warning sign then... but I feel like finding a guy that appreciates my Minion obses...

Favorites  Pumpkin Spice Latte- I'm ready for Halloween now... lol. The PSL is back and it is really delicious! I'm working on my 4th one as we speak. I've had one iced and the rest hot... even though its been pretty hot out this week. I'm just a fan. I'm excited to try the Mexican Hot Chocolate-type drink! Stuart the Minion- I love the Build a Bear minions, and as you might know, I built another one last week and he's just as cute and cuddly as the others! Yes... I cuddle minions when I go to bed... It's been more comfortable to me lately and comforting... and I'm happy to have Stuart now too. I know... its a silly thing for a grown woman to have as a favorite... but you know I love minions and cartoons... so I love him! Life Scribbles -Monday I didn't do too much but I was in a pretty good mood. I had a good starbucks. Good dinner, my cousin got Prailenes from New Orleans and I had one of those... just one of those it shouldn't ...

I thought I'd do a more extensive scribble about a fun place that maybe people don't know about or haven't been too. I feel like this is becoming less and less of a thing now, but its still something fun to do that I think most people would do. Its still fairly popular too from the 3 times I've been in the past year or so. And that's an important thing to note about Build a Bear... its not an "all the time" thing. I went there 3 times in the past year or so because I was making Minions... Minions are my total favorite and I needed to build all 3 and my sister ended up building all 3 as well.Well okay I built 2 for her and she built one for someone special last weekend... and she actually included the 2 of hers in her wedding. She and her husband danced with the minions to the minion version of "This I swear" which is adorable. Anyway since I just went this weekend... I figured I'd let you know how it was. A lot of things that you can add...

Favorites  Minions- I feel like I didn't like a lot of things this week... lol idk why I had a good week and everything, but there isn't a ton I'm like "wow I just tried this and you need to try it too." But this has been a very minion-y week. I watched Minions, I watched Despicable Me 2... there are other random minion things I've liked... its just been a pretty Minion-y week and I like that. Minions always make me happy. So yeah. Starbucks White Mocha- It's been a while since I had this... but it is amazing! My dad actually got this for me when he went to starbucks and I need to remember to order this more! For some reason I didn't think I liked the White Mocha... but it is really really good! I really like it! Apple Music- So my dad has Apple Music and he's sharing it with me... and I really like it because I don't love committing to an album really. First It List of the Year! Here we go! If you're new here, I'm just listing around 10 things that I've been loving this month that I think you should check out. 1) The Worst Idea of All Time Podcast- This podcast is so funny. Its 2 guys that watch the same terrible sequel every week for a year and they see something different every time. I'm listening to season 2 because in season 2 they watched Sex and The City 2... and I love Sex and The City 2... it is an awful but its a fun watch... but its flawed and I love listening to all the flaws since it is a very flawed movie and... its just fun. I might be doing something similar in May... I'm trying to pre-write posts so that I can take off for the entire month of my sisters wedding... so yeah... I thought that would be a fun idea. A bad idea... but a fun one. I like this podcast a lot and I'll keep listening to it! 2) Serial Season 2- Another podcast favorite. I feel like this season will have a bit more contro...

So I kind of wanted to share a few things I got for Christmas. I have some hauls on my beauty blog with the more beauty related stuff I've gotten during the holidays and I'll include those gifts in there... but these are kind of more non-beauty or clothing items. So I love minions... so there's sort of a theme here with some of the minion-items I've gotten. My sister got me minion lights like Christmas lights and they are the most beautiful lights in the entire world! I love them, I think they're adorable and really brighten up the room because they are yellow... these may end up in my room when Christmas is over... lol. My mom got me a Funko Mystery Mini Minion. I opened it up and it was a little karate fighting minion. So cute! I love it. I have this one already, but its one of my favorites and I just think he's adorable... and its a minion so of corse I love it! And Minion Monopoly! These were all kind of surprises. I ordered most of what I got myself...

So... here's just a weird little post. I've been writing these a day ahead usually... but I was really sick yesterday and I didn't get to... so I figured I'd talk about some of my favorite Holiday Decorations and why I like them... so yeah! 1) Lawn Inflatables- I feel like driving around and seeing Christmas Decorations is so much more fun now with the Lawn Inflatables. I didn't like this snowman that they used to make that was holding a candy cane cause it looked a little like it was going to hurt you with the candy cane. There was also one that had Santa with a reindeer and if it got windy... it looked like santa was doing obscene things with the reindeer... which was really funny. But we have a Charlie Brown Christmas Pageant snow globe... and my personal favorite an inflatable Minion! 2 minions actually building a snowman! I love it! I love minions and I just love the lawn inflatable thingy! We got it at Wall Mart wayyy before christmas and I'm really happ...

Hello guys! My birthday Week Weekly Wrap Up! Yayyy! Favorites  Plants vs. Zombies Vasebreaker Mini Game- I talked about this in my It List... but I am hooked on this game right now! And there are so many times I'll be like "I really don't like app games, its boring you just click your phone" but then other times I get really into them and that's all I'll do for hours... and this is one of those times. The vase breaker game is specifically fun because its so hard. You don't know where the big zombie is and you don't know where the plants are you need to beat him... and its just so fun and suspenseful and hard but satisfying to win... I just love it. Crazy Ex Girlfriend- Just saw the first episode and I'll have a review up on Tuesday... but this show is so good! I'm loving it so far! I think its really different and its well done. This could have been a complete disaster if they did it wrong, but they got it 100% right and I think it worked ...

Favorites  Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice K Cups- I know everyone is on a massive Pumpkin Spice K Cup Hunt right now and... yeah. Its hard to find one that is good and tastes pumpkiny, but also still tastes like coffee and is actually good. Out of the two I've tried, this is the one I like. Lol. I didn't really like the Stop and Shop brand K Cup... those tasted kind of like a candle and had a little too much spice. This actually tastes good. Like something you would get at Starbucks or something. Its yummy and just tastes really nice. I like it a lot. The Muppets- I really liked the premier of this show. I think it's going to be so good. It was really funny and its not just like a kids show. When they say "its not your grandma's muppets"... I mean it is and thats good and stuff... but I don't know. I was expecting it to be like a kid's 30 Rock... but I think its more of a kids Bojack Horseman... which isn't a kids show at all really. lol. I liked...

Todays weekly favorites is a big one! So lets start with some of the regular favorites. I think I'm just going to call this "The Weekly Wrap Up" from now on cause I'm combining a lot this week and I'll combine more in the future. Favorites  Arrow- I mentioned that I started watching this last week. At first I was kind of "meh" but by episode 4 or 5 I was pretty hooked. Really great show, definitely going to finish it up and I can't wait for Season 3 and The Flash to be on Netflix because they do crossovers and stuff and it just sounds cool. I don't really read comics... but I feel like there are DC people and there are Marvel people and I'm a DC person. I didn't know this was DC until recently and I think its really cool. In general I kind of like more detective things so that makes sense that I like detective comics more right? Right! Rook Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew- This may be the most delicious iced coffee ever. I love Rook, its loc...

So I thought I might start blogging about my Funkos because I like Funko Pops and I have a few of them already and I'll probably get some more... I have kind of a lot of toys for a grown up... so I might just do some toy reviews and stuff. I think they're fun... Idk I just thought this would be a cool thing! Au Natural Minion- I love the minions... I'll probably have to collect all the minion and Despicable Me pops because... I have a lot of minions. Lol. I collet them. This one was the first Minion I picked up. I love the colors, the bright yellow and the bright green just look really good together. He's so funny cause he's naked with just a leaf on him and he has seaweed as goggles and he's got his eye half opened like he's laughing. His hair is really cute too I think they did a great job of making him look like a minion and he looks like he's about to get in trouble. Lol. He's very light and he's not like an exclusive pop or anything. O...

So I just did an it list... but I bought some random things and some books and I thought I'd include them in with my favorites because I love them all... lol. Haul  So I got 2 Funko Pop figures at Barnes and Noble. I've always wanted to start collecting these and... idk when I saw these at Barnes and Noble I was like "you know what I'm getting a couple!" So I got a minion... of corse! I got the Au Natural Minion, which is a Naked Minion that proves Evolution is real and its really funny. I also got a Sadness from Inside Out. I think she's really cute and she kind of looks like me... lol I have similar hair and glasses, and I don't wear turtlenecks... but I kind of look like her. Also Inside Out was such a great movie. The more I think about it... the more I love it and it reminded me of how much I love Pixar and all their movies and I wanted to work for them as a child and I still kind of do. I would love to write an animated movie for Pixar or Illumina...

Exciting month!!!! I have a lot of favorites and my first should come as no surprise... 1) Minions- Minions are generally one of my favorite things in the entire world but this month the Minion Movie came out and I'm honestly beyond beyond excited for it. Well I already saw this, I just watched it at the time I'm writing this and it was sooo soo good. Really cute and really clever. Great as a Stand Alone movie and part of the Despicable Me Franchise...and I just really really liked it. I should have a review on it, if I remember to link that I will!!!  2) The X Files and The X Files Files- I used to be a big fan of the X Files... And then they made a second X Files movie and it is the worst movie in the entire world. So I kind of gave up on the show after that... But the show is sooo soo good, I decided to give it another shot, a lot of the episodes I watched as a teenager and didn't love and now watching it I do love...or some I'm like "yeah that's not...

Sooo of corse I loved this movie I give it 5 out of 5 stars, it's better than cool ranch Doritos,  it's the cutest and best movie ever. You guys know I love minions, I have a huge minion army in my room and it just keeps growing lol. Minions are my favorite. But all that aside: this movie is still amazing.  It would have been really easy to do this movie just like Despicable Me but they really made this an amazing stand alone movie without Gru or the girls. I thought that they made the backstory of the minions so interesting and different and they gave them all individual personalities instead of just having them as part of the group. Like Stuart wanted to be famous, Bob was a baby and Kevin was the leader... It was just really cute and I thought they did a great job with that. Plus they showed the minions throughout time and all of the other bosses that they've worked with and how they've evolved over time. The opening sequence was really clever and cute, a...

So I did this last week... and it was fun... and some more nerdy things are happening... so instead of another Scribbles About News, we're changing the format again a bit! Cool. 1) More Arrested Development to be released in 2016- This is just about the most exciting news since the last time Arrested Development made a comeback! Lol. I know the 4th season got mixed reviews... but I was thinking about it recently and I really think it was done well. Not many shows can actually come back after 10 years and change so much. Gob's story got so brilliant and dark but it was still really funny... Gob was kind of the Goofball character, but in season 4, he really went dark... and it was sooooo funny! It was pretty amazing. I thought that alone was brilliant. And everything else they did was pretty brilliant and very dark also. It was just good.
