Weekly Wrap Up! 10/18/15

Hello guys! My birthday Week Weekly Wrap Up! Yayyy!

Favorites
Plants vs. Zombies Vasebreaker Mini Game- I talked about this in my It List... but I am hooked on this game right now! And there are so many times I'll be like "I really don't like app games, its boring you just click your phone" but then other times I get really into them and that's all I'll do for hours... and this is one of those times. The vase breaker game is specifically fun because its so hard. You don't know where the big zombie is and you don't know where the plants are you need to beat him... and its just so fun and suspenseful and hard but satisfying to win... I just love it.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend- Just saw the first episode and I'll have a review up on Tuesday... but this show is so good! I'm loving it so far! I think its really different and its well done. This could have been a complete disaster if they did it wrong, but they got it 100% right and I think it worked really really well. Definitely check it out. Watch the first episode, don't just tune in on Monday... I think the exposition of the reasoning why she's crazy and why she's singing is just kind of brilliant and to me that makes the show.

She Wants Revenge- After seeing the AHS scene where they played them I was like "alright" and then I kept listening to other songs of theirs. I had heard of this band before, but didn't like their rendition of Kidnap The Sandy Claws on the Nightmare Revisited soundtrack (the first one)... and yeah. They seem way too dark and sexy to do a song from a kids movie and have it be good... so thats kind of what they're about. Their songs are scary but good.

Highlights
Monday I just stayed home. I think I got up early, got stuff done... dressed up as Miss Piggy... but that was it.

Tuesday I went to Wall Mart and got Earmuffs for my halloween costume... guess who I'm going as...  And some other things.

Wednesday I ate Cheese fries, pasta and had a PSL... always good day.

Thursday went shopping for bday presents, lots of fun.

Friday was the big day! I ate pizza with my family and friends and had a great day! I also went to a huge haunted house thats near me. Its just at a really giant creepy place in general. If you're in the Jersey area, I'm sure you know where it is.

And Saturday I did nothing and ate lasagna... which was a lot of fun. I started playing with my new fitbit too!

Random Haul
It was my birthday, so these are gifts. I'm not bragging or anything, I just think they're really cool things and cute and I wanted to share them with you, if you're looking for a gift these are some good ideas.

Now the big thing my parents got me were tickets to go see Something Rotten, which I'm doing soon. Expect a review in the near future maybe.

My sister got me a Fitbit! Which I'm really excited about. I don't know anything about it or how to set it up yet... but I'm definitely going to put it to good use and set it up and use it a lot. That was a surprise that I'm really really excited about.

Some family friends of mine got me Aziz Ansari's book Modern Romance and Mindy Kaling's new book, Why Not Me. I'm really excited to read those. I've been wanting them for a long time.

And I got a minion bucket, which is absolutely adorable. I'm going to fill it with stuff... don't know what yet... but stuff! Lol. I have a minion box that says "All in favor say 'eye!'"And thats really cute. A minion bag which just has a lot of minions on it, its super cute. And a Minion Wind Friend, which you can use for a lot of different things. I'm probably going to hang it up in my room somewhere because I'm an adult and need minion somewhere in my room, but it can also go on kites or you can use it as a flag outside or something, which is really cool.

What I watched

I watched Quantico... such a great show! I'm starting to love this! If you were to pick one new show to watch... I would say Scream Queens... but I think Quantico can appeal to everyone really. This week was my favorite episode so far. The pieces are really coming together and its getting really really good.

I watched American Horror Story... I'm re-watching every season week by week... so that's hard and nearly impossible, but if you want to see how all the seasons are connected... that's one way to do it. Lol.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend obvs... that was good. Jane The Virgin was really good, I'm so happy its back!

The Muppets was really great this week, Fresh Off The Boat was super funny. Scream Queens was really great... might have been my least favorite episode so far... idk why, I just didn't feel the twists were quite as exciting as last weeks... but we learned a lot. I kind of think Nick Jonas's character is the baby and Gigi is helping him... but Zayday looked really suspicious in this episode and Chanel #3 was a little more in charge and that was fun to see. Ohhh wait... can't be Nick Jonas he's a boy, the baby was a girl. Unless there's a sleep away camp type thing going on with his character? Maybe. I also thought Gigi's involvement was a little predictable just from this episode though. Cause the killer never kills her, but they always come close.

I also was thinking maybe it was the guy that approached Zayday about being President of KKT... that would make sense. And it'd make sense that he and Zayday would be working with Gigi because she's concerned about Kappa also... idk. It wasn't a bad episode, I just didn't think it was the best of the season. I think last week's episode was my favorite. I could have used more Chanel in this episode. Maybe thats it. I'm not sure... either way I like it.

I watched ABC's Wednesday night shows and AHS, which was really scary and good this week. I'll have a fuller review on that on my AHS rematch post, which I think will be up next Friday or Saturday.

I watched TGIT... cannot WAIT for next week's How To Get Away With Murder. It looks really really good.

And Saturday I watched the first episodes of Grandfathered and The Grinder again. It was good!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
