Weekly Wrap Up 10/25/15

Heyyy guys welcome to a very exciting weekly wrap up. I'm just gonna jump into the favorites!

Favorites

Fitbit- It is only Sunday... but my new obsession is my new Fitbit that I just got for my birthday. Its so fun, easy to use, there are so many things you can do with this and the app its just awesome. It's really helping me stay on track with what I've been eating, how much I'm walking and how many calories I'm burning just from regular activities, plus how many calories I've eaten on the app. Its just fun and easy to use. I really like it. I'm going to do a review on this. I think I'm going to do some techy reviews from like a non-technical person... so expect to see a Scribbles About Gadgets on this sometime soon. I'm still getting the hang of it and stuff... so I'll keep you posted, but if you're trying to lose weight and you're thinking of getting one, go ahead and do it. Its awesome and its just a fun way to do stuff. You never really know how many calories you burn just from doing housework and stuff, so its fun to learn what you're doing and how and everything like that.

Complete Story on youtube- So this is kinda random. I was looking up things about Harley Quinn for my Woman Crush Wednesday and then I found a youtube series called Complete Story that basically sums up an entire comic book in a dramatic reading... and they show some of the art and stuff. Its really really cool actually. I've been watching some Deadpool ones and I started out watching a Batman one called Death in The Family, which is a really famous and loved Batman story. I think if you're into superheroes but not necessarily into comics, this is a really cool thing to watch. And there isn't a ton of Deadpool stuff or Harley Quinn stuff out there cause they haven't been in movies yet, so that's pretty cool. I really like it. I don't even know the channel but just type in Deadpool complete story or Death in The Family Batman and its the first suggestion. Its clever and I like it.

Also looked it up the channel is Comicstorian. Kinda cool.
Foldgers Hazelnut Cream K Cups- So these are great. I thought they stopped making them because they no longer carry these at most of the grocery stores we get our K cups at... but we were at another grocery store that had them and we were really really excited! By "we" I mean my mom and I. We're the K Cup enthusiasts of my household. Sooo good! So happy to have these K cups back in my life, and now we know where to find them!

Sour Patch Watermelon- I can't stop eating these. My mom got little bags that are like for trick or treaters, but we both fully knew it would be for me. Cannot stop. Sour Patch Kids are actually the most popular halloween candy in NJ. You totally aren't getting these if you come to my house though cause I'm gonna eat the whole thing. Lmao. But really.

What I watched
I watched Quantico. I forgot about it on Sunday and then on Monday I watched it cause I didn't want to get spoiled. Such a good show. I was more into last week's episode than this weeks... but still good.

I watched Supernatural. I'm still doing my blog posts about season 4 right now.

I watched American Horror Story... every season. Episode 3. Still doing that. And I liked this week's episode too. More on that with my post. I was kind of expecting more answers, but it was still really good!

Hocus Pocus! That was an exciting one to finally watch! Not really halloween without Hocus Pocus!

I saw some of The Middle and most of Blackish. I really like Blackish, I think its such a clever show and really well written. I thought this episode was really funny too. Tracee Ellis Ross is my favorite, she's so good!

Random but I also watch CBS's morning news. I just like the anchors, I think they're the least biased network, they're respectful to everyone and they're fun to watch. Plus its good if you want real news. Whenever I watch Good Morning America its always fun news like Kim Kardashian types of things... and I don't care that much. I do love ABC's New York news team and I watch them for news. I figured I'd mention this just in case you're wondering. Its important to have a news team you trust and that you like for real news. I don't always watch it, I don't always pay attention... but its fun.

TGIT. All really good this week. Next week's Scandal looks pretty good.

Highlights
So this was an exciting week. I went shopping on Tuesday and got a lot of nice stuff from Express and Boscov's and then some fun goodies at Hot Topic... which I will mention.

I also went to Target on Wednesday... always exciting, but possibly even more exciting was for dinner we did the tasting for my sister's wedding! The food was really good, they gave us a lot. It was a whole meal, plus a little of all of the appetizers. So that was really good. She has quite a lot of good stuff to pick from.

Thursday I got my hair done! And I love it! I think this is the shortest I've ever had it and I like it a lot!

Friday... didn't do too much.

And Saturday I saw Something Rotten! I have a review coming up tomorrow... but spoilers... I love it!!! We ate at Pigalle and it was great, I had the Pumpkin Ravioli which was awesome. I really liked it... and thats about it!

Random Haul
I had a $10 off coupon for Hot Topic, so I got a couple pops and a Disney Blind Bag keychain.

I got a Day of The Dead Sally pop because I think she's really cool looking. The Jack I have isn't day of the dead... but I like the Jack i have better but still want a day of the dead pop... so I thought that was cool. She's really detailed and Jack and the Teddy Bear and my stuffed Mayor and Zero look happier with here there. I love Nightmare Before Christmas, so I was happy.

Then I got Rumplestillskin! He is a creepy looking pop, but his face is glittery and I needed to get him and Hook together right? He's really cool looking and sparkly and I like him!

For the blind bag I got Mowgli from The Jungle Book. I really wanted Baymax but I like Mowgli. He's cute and with the new Jungle Book movie coming out I think he's pretty cool. That movie looks really good too!

And I got a stuffed Gone Batty Minion from Target. So cute! My favorite minion!

And I got a t shirt that says Will Power on it from Something Rotten. It has a picture of Shakespeare and it looks cool. And I got a tote bag, which is really cool. It has the artwork of the playbill on it and that has someone mooning people and its great. I love it!

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
