Supernatural Season 2 pt 2

Nightshifter
I didn't quite get the end of this one... Sam and Dean somehow used the skin of the shifter to fake their own deaths? And then they escaped and used the uniforms of the swat team? Or did they kill the swat team to escape... that doesn't sound like them... I'm gonna look a little further into this one... then I'll let you know.

Okay not quite sure... I think everywhere online was just busy at Sam and Dean in their underpants together and them playing a really good song. Unless those were 2 guys whose uniforms they stole and knocked out... I don't quite get it. Or they just did that and then escaped... not a huge deal for the rest of the episode being good and it doesn't effect the next episode... so its still really good. I like it!

Houses of the Holy
I liked this one. It was a little boring and seemed uneventful at some parts... but it told us a lot about Sam and Dean and I just really liked it. Idk I liked that Dean loved the Magic Fingers and I thought overall it was a good episode with some hope in it. I liked it a lot!

Born Under a Bad Sign
This is just one of the reasons why I like these characters so much. I just felt like Dean being surprised that Sam was acting... well like Dean and also murdering people was just funny and genuine. At the end when he says "You had a girl inside you for a whole week" was funny. Jo was great, she's an awesome character. The one thing I didn't like in this episode was that they over-explained what the episode would be about in the beginning when it says "Then." It just kind of ruined it cause we knew that Meg would show up and that there would be a devil's trap to trap her.

One moment I thought was hilarious which might have been re-shot or added in post was when Dean is running to try to get Sam and then Jo screams "Dean, he's possessed" and its kind of like "yeah no shit sherlock" lol. I just thought that was kind of funny.

Tall Tales
Another great Meta episode! This really reminded me of Jose Chung's From Outer Space. It was definitely based off of that. I think Supernatural has the most well timed funny transition episodes of any tv show. I love the way the tone shifts. I love Sam's version of what happened vs Dean's version and the end where the Trickster is alive. Really funny all in all. One of my favorite episodes.

Roadkill
I feel like I kind of loved/hated this one. It was a little boring... there were a lot of twists. It felt like how they sometimes have someone famous write an episode and it doesn't really work out... It was creepy and the twist was good... but it was a little lazy. They really stretched this one out to get it to the time they needed when they had the scene basically recapping the whole episode... that was too long and... it just wasn't the greatest. I think maybe it was written because this would be a good first episode for someone to watch. There are no real spoilers, it really over-explains everything Sam and Dean do, and you could watch this and things would kind of make sense back in the days where there was no Hulu, Netflix or DVR. Not the laziest episode, I can see why it was there... but not the finest.

Heart
This was super predictable. And there were twists... but it was really really predictable. Not a bad episode... but it was one where you definitely knew what was coming and there wasn't much question about anything. So... yeah. I'm glad Sam got laid... and yeah by a werewolf... which was probably awesome. Everyone Sam sleeps with dies though, so sad. Lol. Anyway this wasn't the worst just really predictable. Maybe because I've been watching this all day and I saw How To Get Away With Murder... but I was underwhelmed.

Hollywood Babylon
I knew this one would be really funny! It reminded me A LOT of the X Files Hollywood AD episode... but this made a little more sense and the jokes were more meta and understandable. There was a joke about Tara taking polaroids on the set, which the actor that plays Dean is known for. She also says the script for Boogeyman was terrible and that was written by the creator of Supernatural. A lot of the notes were notes that the writers got for Supernatural. There was a nod to the Canadian weather because its filmed in Canada. A lot of shots from previous episodes are in here... there was a lot. I love that when Supernatural pokes fun at itself... they really go meta with it. They do a really good job and it might be too much... but its like watching an episode of Community or something. Its pretty funny.

This is also the first episode without the Impala! I'm going to try to pay attention to more now. This is fun I'm looking up the trivia individually on IMDB. Apparently The Usual Suspects is also the first episode in which Dean doesn't refer to Sam as "Sammy." Interesting.

Folsom Prison Blues
This was a good one. It was fun to see Sam and Dean finally going to jail and escaping. The supernatural element of it all I didn't think was that interesting... but it was a good episode! I liked it. Didn't love it but liked it!

What is and What Should Never Be
This episode was really sad. It was good and its nice to see what Dean and Sam's lives could have been and how many people he and Sam have saved... but really none of it was real and Dean has a job to do... and he had to go back to doing it.

All Hell Breaks Loose (pt. 1)
Wow... I liked the idea of this one a lot. Its like The Hunger Games but with demons and psychics... really cool. I read on IMDB that it was based off The Breakfast club. I can see that. Pretty cool... now the next part. Ohhh and Sam dies... lol. But of corse not really cause its Sam!

All Hell Breaks Loose (pt. 2)
No real cliffhanger, but another good finale. This part was really exciting... did not expect literally for all hell to break loose. I loved the scene with John Winchester at the end. I loved Sam saying that he would save Dean... its just one of those things that makes your heart melt. I love the relationship between the two and I love Sam and Dean... especially have a crush on Dean... not gonna lie. You guys know this if you've read any post on here the past month.

Alrighty that is my thoughts on Season 2 of Supernatural! Can't get enough of this show! Next season is a shorter season, so I don't think I'm going to break that down... I'll just get it all over with at once! Especially since I'm a little ahead of watching these and behind on posting them... lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
