The Daily Something

A lot of times a lot of jokes and stuff in tv shows can get lost throughout the entire series and things like that... but there are a few hidden gems in the writing world that just stick out to me even years after the show has ended. This is kind of something I want to do a lot in with my writing, so this is something that's important to me. These may not be the exact lines and they aren't the Will And Grace  This is what inspired this post. There's an episode where I believe Grace is fighting with her friend Ellen and Karen is trying to stick up for Grace I believe. She insults what Ellen is wearing and: Ellen: I got this from Ann Taylor Loft! Karen: And when you walked down the street I bet they all Loft! (meaning laughed.) I just thought that was so funny. And now of corse whenever I see a Loft or an Ann Taylor Loft I say "and when you walk down the street, they'll all lof" lol. I was with a group of my friends a few weeks ago and one of my friends...

I didn't want to post this yesterday because I'm going to spoil everything pretty much. There isn't much to spoil though, I mean yeah I'm going to say how an entire series ends, but honestly with a lot of finales, the finale doesn't definie the show as a whole. And this had a much different tone than any other episode of this show, so it doesn't fully define the show if that makes any sense. The main actions of this season have already been set into place, so yeah. And this was a really happy finale. Surprisingly more happy than How I Met Your Mothers finale... And I'm really happy that Seth Meyers announced just how grim that finale was lol. For a show that's all about death and my main thought of the end would be that everyone would die... I was surprised everyone lived. Well not everyone but well get to that.  The show focused pretty much only on Sookie and her choice... But not the usual choice that Sookie is making between which vampire, werewolf, o...

This episode again was good, but also... It's already sort of wrapped up and there isn't a whole lot happening right now. It's all a bit predictable and it hasn't been bad and this was not a bad episode at all,but it's trying to wrap up. Nothing was really out of the ordinary here.  Sooo where to begin... The part where Bill released Jessica was super moving. I thought that was the most emotional moment of the series possibly. Jessica is really the anchor for Bill to me. If it wasn't for Jessica,I would completely hate Bill and I'd be super happy that he's dying, but he's such a good maker to her and him choosing to die and releasing her and saying how proud he is of her...it's just sad. Jessica should be able to live all her lives with her maker the way Pam has with Eric because it's just that kind of relationship. It's also the only good parent-child relationship, other than Gran Stackhouse and the other Stackhouse grandparents and grea...

This episode was one of the most emotional episodes of the series as a whole... And it should be. It's the end of the road, lots of emotions running for all of the characters, people are dying it's going to be a roller coaster ride.  I'm gonna start off with talking about "ships" because this was a very shippy episode. The first ship is Bill and Sookie. I thought their getting back together was actually kind of beautiful because it did give Sookie, and us a chance to get some questions answered. Sookie asked Bill what had really happened between him and Sophie Anne and he said that he was supposed to bring Sookie back so that Sophie Anne could start breeding fairies. He was just supposed to find Sookie and bring her to Sophie Ann. Nothing more than that, but Bill didn't bring her back to Sophie Ann because Sookie reminded Bill of what it was like to be human again. And I thought that was really sweet because it shows that Sookie really is a sweet, loving perso...

I kind of went over a lot of these in my MCM about Eric Northman... So I'll try to keep this short and non repetitive.  1) She is reluctant to become a maker, but she is a loyal and helpful to Tara when Tara is turned- I don't think Pam is the best maker...mostly due to her loyalty to Eric, but she definitely did love Tara more than anyone had really loved her and she really did help her accept the loss of her human life and become accept her new life. When Tara's mother disowned her, Pam said that she wouldn't even remember her in a few years. She may not have been a very good maker to Tara towards the end of Tara's life. She did abandon her for Eric when Tara was still pretty much a babyvamp... But when Tara needed her she was there. And Pam didn't really want to be a maker, especially to Tara, who she hated... But she accepted it and she ended up being a good maker overall.  2) She may be selfish, but she'll put her selfishness aside for the people she lo...

This episode was kind of upsetting to me because the future looks very grim for everyone. They know the cure for Hep V, but Sarah Newlin has run away and Eric and Bill keep getting sicker and sicker and it looks like Jessica and Addy and Wade all might die. It's all very sad.  First off... If Amber drank Sarah's blood...her blood should be cured also. Eric should have drank her blood after he killed her so that he wouldn't get the virus. I don't get that. Maybe it's not that easy...actually that's probably too easy. What would Eric and Pam do for the rest of the season if Eric was cured already.  Also Sookie could have saved Bill easily. She knows Willa would know where Eric is. Willa would tell her Eric was seeking revenge from Sarah Newlin and... If Sookie payed attention to her own life as much as I pay attention to the show, she could probably figure that Sarah was the cute and that Eric would help her find it.  So if Sookie had been thinking with her brain ...

1) He's a Vampire Viking God- Exactly what Pam had told him. He is a vampire Viking... How could you not love him? There is literally nothing hotter than a Vampire Viking God! You can't beat that!  2) He is an amazing maker to Pam- his loyalty to Pam and his relationship with Pam in general is the most beautiful relationship on the show I think. They have always been together and they will always be together no matter what. Through Eric making another vampire, through Eric's illness, Tara's death, the death of Eric's French girl... Just a lot. Maybe he isn't an amazing maker, he can be an asshole, but that's because he has loyalty to others as well, like Nora and Goddrick and Sookie.  3) He can actually admit when he's done wrong, but he also defends his decisions- when Willow said he was a bad maker... He admitted he was a bad maker. He knew that he wasn't good to her, but he loves her still and will continue to love and care for her, even though he...

So this week's episode was another good one. I'm actually rewatching it right now.  I don't really have all that much to say as to an overview of the episode... So I'm just going to do a review on the storylines and what have you.  First I like Jessica and Jason together and I want them to end up together and I'm happy that that is the direction the show seems to be going in... But that wasn't the best way for them to end up together. Jason is with Violet, who is absolutely insane and she needs to go because she's going to hurt that poor fairy. Violet has done some good things and I thought she could actually be a good person... But she's too jealous and possessive of Jason and I don't think she cares about him that much. Jessica actually loves him and he actually loves Jessica, and it's not that way with Violet at all... He even said that himself.  Speaking of Violet let's get to Andy and Holly and their kids. Of corse this happened though, ...

So tonight's episode was funny and sad and exciting all at the same time really. It's like the type of episode that made me like the series in the first place, which I really like. So it starts out rather serious. Sookie is finally getting the chance to actually mourn and miss Alcide. She stayed strong in the last episode, but now wasn't her time to stay strong... But Lafayette came over and decided that the girl should have some fun... So he threw a party because Sookie didn't want her house to be empty. Sookie isn't someone that usually has an empty house, she's lived with Tara and Lafayette and Gran and Alcide. It's not like she usually has parties in her house... But she couldn't have it empty either. Meanwhile, at Fangtasia Eric wants to see Willow (Willa?) because he is dying and he also needs to know if she knows any information about Sarah Newlin. She says Sarah Newlin's sister isn't dead, but is actually a vampire. I already forget...

Alrighty it seems like this season they're doing a death in every other episode... So I'm going to say no one died tonight. Well that's not true, people died but no one with a name or anything... So it only half counts. Lol. Overall I really liked this episode, I thought Sookie was really good and very human in this episode. It's hard to remember sometimes that Sookie is the human part of the show and is supposed to be who we really care about, and this episode was very powerful in showing that she was human and she just wanted to help the people she cared about. She was still upset over the death of Alcide obviously, but she stayed strong because she knew everyone needed her to stay strong. Jason needed her to be strong because he had to tell Hoyt the bad news about his mother, while Hoyt doesn't even remember who Jason is. Arlene's kids needed Sookie to be strong and to tell them the truth about what was going to happen to Arlene. Holly needed Sookie to be s...

Trueblood is ending, and I reviewed the season so far yesterday and I said I quite liked it, but like any show it has it's ups and downs... Here are the top 5 biggest storyline fails! 5) Franklin Mott's whole character arc- I bet you're wondering "who is Franklin Mott" well that is because the show took a pretty interesting character that could have had an okay storyline and made him a very weird unmemorable character. Franklin started out as just a vampire that was dating Tara at the beginning of season 3... Nothing too weird, it was just a one night stand Tara had with a vampire... But then he went crazy and there was very little payoff to his antics on the show at all. He kidnapped Tara to make her his vampire bride, he blackmailed Jessica after she killed the Trucker... And then he died! So weird. I don think anything happened that escalated in the show because of this character. It didn't make me like Tara, Jason or Jessica any more or less. It was just...

So one show I have a love hate relationship with... But mostly love through thick and thin no matter what is Trueblood. And you may or may not know that 1) it is the final season 2) Everyone is dying so far!!! So of corse I need to talk about it. I kind of stopped watching last season because the Billith thing got a bit ridiculous for me... Not even going to lie. It was weird, I was turned off and I stopped watching because I just needed some time away from it... But now I finished season 6 and it was actually good and I'm back in for Season 7. Here are some highlights from season 6 and mostly the end of Season 6 that will make everything in my review make more sense. Be warned: I'm going to spoil basically everything. I've been pissed because Facebook spoiled it for me already and it's pissing me off so much. They're like "you'll never guess who died on trueblood: interview with Joe Manganiello. Really?
