1) They're both super funny separate and together- Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci are both incredibly funny people. Although the pair totally shines together, they're both super funny on their own as well. Kate was great as Raj's socially awkward girlfriend on The Big Bang Theory and Riki's been on At Midnight by herself and she's been super funny. They don't lean on each other for laughs, they support each other which makes them even funnier. 2) They're songs are super funny and super real- I feel like there are a lot of comedy musicians out there, and a lot of them have crazy outlandish songs that aren't real things that can happen. I can listen to a Garfunkel and Oates song and be like "ohhh that happened to me" or "ohhh I know someone that did that," it's like they're saying things that I've thought but wouldn't say out loud.
