The Daily Something

So I thought this might be a fun thing for me to write... I feel like any collector can kind of relate to this too... the need to get all the things, or the things you could get to complete the collection and just basically the fun of collecting things in general. Before I even saw Ralph Breaks The Internet- I knew that I loved the scene/ idea of the Cozy Princesses that have a sleepover with Vanellope and... I just thought this was a cute little disney crossover and kind of a perfect way for Disney to kind of poke fun at themselves. And after seeing the movie I got a little more obsessed with it... and now I'm collecting all of them... and my desk looks like this now... So it all started off with Rapunzel and Jasmine. I was in Boxlunch with my boyfriend and I knew I wanted to collect them all... but I wanted to start out with my favorites... and quite frankly the ones that Boxlunch had the fewest of because I figured these wouldn't be super hard to find... but still. ...

So if you read my post from yesterday- you know that I love The Disney Store, but it is unfortunately closing. I did pick up some things from the store that I thought I'd share with you guys! I did get a couple of t shirts. One is a Star Wars shirt, which is technically a men's shirt but I thought it looked really cool and I don't like that Disney doesn't carry the same things for men and for women. For the most part they look unisex to me and a lot of their men's stuff has characters I like better. Like the star wars shirt for women was grey with pink lettering and had no pictures, but the mens shirt had a really cool metallic silver logo on black clothing with pictures of all the new characters and Luke inside of the letters... much cooler! So I got that! The other shirt I got is really funny and it has Sleeping Beauty on it and it says "I Woke Up Like This." Which I really liked! My favorite Disney movie ever! The first movie I ever saw... so did it hold up... Absolutely! This isn't that big of a Throwback... I feel like this is a movie I've managed to catch just about every year or every few years. ABC Family AKA Free Form usually plays this around the holidays and they played it right after I came home from Disney World the last time I went... which was in High School and that was the first time I really remembered it all in all and I loved the way that Aladdin and Jasmine fell in love. Its just such a sweet story filled with adventure and of corse its really funny too. I think the last time I watched it though was after Robin Williams passed away The Disney Channel showed it commercial free, which was awesome and I had it on Tivo and we saved it for quite a while, but I don't think I ever watched it after that. I got the Blu Ray a few months ago because as I've said... it is my favorite Disney Movie... so that is how I watched it this tim...

I feel like I've been liking lists lately, and I thought this would be a fun one... I'm just including characters from Disney movies. I'm not including Pixar, The Muppets, the original disney characters like Mickey or Winnie the Pooh characters because... that wouldn't be fair to the other disney characters. I'd have all Pixar characters, muppets and Tigger and stuff. Lol. But... yeah. Here are some of my favorites. I'm going to try to keep this in order... but lets be real... its Disney. And this will be like a top 10 thing, but in no order. And these are all human characters because I kind of forgot about Lion King until the end of the list and then was like "hey I need Lion King here somewhere" but then realized all my characters would be Lion King Characters and that wouldn't be fair either. 1) Aladdin- Aladdin is probably my favorite Disney Prince... there's another one on here that is similar to Aladdin that I really like... but yeah....

1) She's the perfect Snow White- I mean really! They could not have gotten a better Snow White! She looks like Snow, she seems very snow-ish and she's just like a real life princess. I think whoever did the casting for Once Upon A Time should be awarded or something. It is a hard thing to pull off recreating an iconic character, but I think Ginnifer Goodwin does a fantastic job of doing so. 2) She's been good in a lot of bad movies- Before Once upon a time, I was a fan of Ginnifer Goodwin... but there were no movies with her in it that I really liked. I didn't like Something Borrowed, I liked He's Just Not That Into You... but without Ginnifer it would have been bad. I think she was still really entertaining and fun to watch in these movies no matter how bad they are. She does a great job and she really does make a movie worth seeing, even if it isn't the best movie in the world. 3) I love her scenes with Charming on Once- This is a stupid and girlish thing ...
